To kick off our series of documentary videos, we'll be taking a look at WAVEN's lore, background, and storytelling. Aurore first explains the various issues she had to consider in building the narrative for this post-apocalyptic world.
The narrative designer for the WAVEN team at Ankama then turns to how these issues are reflected in the game through characters, backgrounds, stories, gameplay, and the atmosphere of the different cities, so that players can really feel what it means to survive in a world that's been utterly devastated.
But don't worry: all the adventure and humor you've come to expect from Ankama are still there!

Ogrest's Chaos lasted to the OVAs originally and then was stopped, so it couldn't be the big guy who created The Great Wave.
Tho it's mostly my thoughts, I do believe it takes place in a different timeline.
@@AverageDot I doubt it since the creator has confirmed that one of the reasons he wanted to release Wakfu season 4 was because it was the prequel to the Waven game, but I guess we'll see...

As an elder player, that first arrived in the World of Twelve in Rosal server in 2006, i love the idea of a more direct game, for those who can't play for long sessions anymore.
I do love how the plot of Waven is basically Wakfu again. Like they saying Gods dissapeared like they weren't gone already.
yeah they fking did nothing in wakfu either way, just existed in their own dimensions, worlds was already destroyed xd
yea but it is interesting how they went from being "gone" aka hidden to actually vanishing from their own dimension as well. Im sure as wakfu's new season airs we'll get more sense of it, but yea they've been useless since the Dofus era.

I am writing to express a constructive concern regarding the "Sram Ecorcheur Shugen" assassin class in the game. Currently, I have noticed that this class presents significant challenges in its performance compared to others. The lack of impact in its damage-dealing capability and its fragility in terms of resistance result in a limited gameplay experience for players who opt for this class.
My suggestion is to consider an adjustment that would enhance the role of explosive damage for the "Sram Ecorcheur Shugen" class. I propose a substantial increase in its damage output, both in normal damage and explosive damage. This improvement should balance its vulnerability due to lack of resistance, making it a highly offensive class but vulnerable in return.
I firmly believe that this modification will not only improve gameplay for those who favor this class but also contribute to an overall balance among the different classes available in the game.
Thank you for your time and consideration in reviewing this proposal. I am excited to see the potential that this adjustment could bring to the gaming experience in Waven.
Every single Game from Ankama rocks. I still Remember the early Version of Dofus :D I wonder if we will be able to See the other Classes/Races later. Like what happend to Ecaflips for example. Can't wait to explore. Anyone else Thinks we, the player might have caused the grand wave? :O p.s. Aurora is adorable :)

I adore the krozmos universe especially since i watched wakfu and the dofus movie. Therefore i am excited for the game but still i hope for a show/ movie connected to it like with the afformentioned.
Question the companions we get opening chests. Will theyve their own history related quests? Will they have a sort of affection system? Will there be Miranda of Kelba and Lady Echo as companions ?????????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It has been mentioned that Wakfu Season 4 is going to mark the beginning of the Waven Era, so it is safe to assume that the great wave has to do with our hero, Yugo.
all the show characters are in game, so it makes sense season 4 will connect things!
