I think the reason that this Bardcore works so well (Aside from You Say Run being super generic) is that the original invokes a sense of hope in the opening chords. A sense of "Everything will be alright." In a world like medieval Europe where everything was quite bleak, music tended to be quite uplifting because it was a way to feel a sense of uplifting joy that was hard to come by in those times. Hearing the opening chords in bardcore sort of gives you a sense of nostalgia for a time that we were six hundred years too late for. As the songs go on, you not only become overwhelmed with a sense of hope and nostalgia, where everything seems alright, it accelerates into a still-calm ballad that invigorates the listener, and simply says. "You've got this."
