Yeah, he was trying to bait the opponent into using the bees on their own minions in order to build a bigger board. Super greedy play so it's hard to say it was "right," but realistically he was probably dead within a couple turns from that position anyway.

arbor up is such a wildly ridiculous card. 5 mana for 2 4/3s AND it buffs your entire board by 2/1? that's crazy powerful, i have no idea how it hasnt been nerfed yet.
Alternatively, if you have a board, you can play a decoy minion, draw the Gankster out of Stealth, and then trade into him. Mass removal, divine shield and high health are all things it doesn't excel against.
