I like this. Maybe I'm paranoid, but if they snatched the door hard, is there a chance that the pocket on the door would just rip off and then the door would be opened?

UPDATE, I bought a couple of brackets some welded chain,2 'S' hooks and 2 ' carabina snap hooks and it does a good job,probably cost around £10. Thanks for the idea tho bud😎

Realy cleaver system, except what happens when they crack your window ? If they reach in IT can easily be unhooked from the outside as well of course. Would work better with a couple of locks on both ends if you ask me.
My personal view is the idea is good but your relying on a single screw that’s designed to hold a plastic side trim on to a thin piece of metal door skin. A more secure method of mounting to the door such as a plate on the inside of the door to spread the load and two 10mm bolts with washers either side.

Was inspired by your video and ordered and paid for the 2 sets for the side door as well on the 15th of this month still haven't arrived having trouble with delivery with DHL ,wouldn't have ordered if I would of known the DHL reviews.
It's designed for motorhome campervan owner's as there is a weak spot on the driver's door lock ,so it can't be open while we sleep in the van ,if u broke the window glass I'd wake up i hope lol , thanks for watching 👍

I'm more in need of security if I leave my van parked for extended periods like while I am hiking in the mountains. if they wanna get it in the van while I'm in it well they would wish they had not. 😃

Great idea, but I'd but instead of a strap I'd use a chain. There look like you could fit a Knife or a saw between the door gap and cut it.
There is a chain under the material to protect the door 🙂

Its for when you wild camping in n van ,these vans it so easy to get in , so you missed the concept how they work

It’s only to slow somebody down while your in the van sleeping with all the pulling and tugging it will wake the dead up 👍

I have the same problem hiking always back of your mind coming back and van broken into ,I try park some where like a Aire or state forest park
