Looks awesome! Great video and good luck with the channel my friend!
Great video Florian! I tried this last night and it came out DELICIOUS! I'd never considered using 2 bowls for the flour mix before. That was a big help. I also switched the Chipotle for Ancho Chile powder. That provided a real nice kick. Keep up the good work with the videos.
Phil Jones thanks so much. Glad you enjoyed it
Is that uncooked flour on the chicken?
Great video! How hot was your fire throughout the cook,350?
Kelvin Pratt 350 to 375, thanks for watching
@@FloSlowBBQ Thx man!
Hello there again; This is Tim Williams and I've been watching you on UA-cam on frying chicken 🐔 on the Weber Kettle Grill. So far you fried the Drumsticks and the thighs. Can you also fry the Breast or will it take longer to fry them? Please let me know.
Hm ... I don't like breast that much. I'd fry breasts for about the same time but check internal temp a few minutes early. Breasts will go dry quickly, I usually only go to 65°C/150°F. BUT ... that's your choice, FDA recommends 165°F.
How much hotter were the thighs with chipotle mixed in? Which did you like better?
heat is a very subjective perception. I would say they were spicy at best, then again I have lived in Thailand for a year and I have people telling me that my spicy is their "thermonuclear war in my mouth". But really, it only had a nice kick, I'd add a lot more next time :-)
What do you think about putting a little cherry wood for some smoke flavor?
personally, I like them better unsmoked, but that's totally a question of preference
Florian, what's that grill probe holder you got? Never seen one like it
It's the BBQ Guru probe tree - there's a link in the description box.
Nice, was the crispy outside good throughout?
Matthew Smith it was crispy, tasty. I think this could only be improved a little more by spraying some oil on. It would help the color. Taste wise, it was awesome.
Great video thanks! Did you have to add extra charcoal during cooking?
cranno99 thank you. No extra charcoal, it’s a quick cook
sound is very low....
D Blake sorry bout that.
Flo, besorg dir doch mal ein Ansteckmikro. Man versteht dich immer sehr schlecht.
schon passiert ... obendrein nuschel ich auch noch :-)
Can't hear you!!!!
turn the volume up?
on a more serious note: future videos will be recorded with a mic.
