@@illlllllllilillliilllliiii7155 You don't necessarily need to hunt big game with a gun. Shooting a rabbit is perfectly acceptable, and a million times easier than chasing or trapping it. And one decent sized rabbit is a solid meal in a survival situation.
@Jonas Smith most people carry 10mm for bears not all handguns are small caliber weapons or you could carry a small 44 magnum or even a 460 magnum or 500 people handgun hunt bears all the time with big bore handguns but the glock 20 chambered in 10mm is still small enough to carry all day and enough to take out big game

I’ve never seen those in any med pack, ever. Not even military. Too dangerous. Some of the stuff he shows isn’t realistic, but more for entertainment and the purpose of showing it can be done. Like when he found a brand new Brillo pad in the artic and connected to a new 12v battery to make fire.
@@DrEvil-os9dc
That Brillo pad wasn’t brand new though. If you watch the extras on dvd he shows where and how he found it. It was actually pretty dirty too. The battery and steel wool is fairly common way to make fire; now the one that surprised me the most was his chocolate and coke can fire starter🔥
@@DrEvil-os9dc
Where’d you serve by the way?
Did he just use rhino dung to start a fire
A pack of bic lighters in the adv bag works pretty good too. Little indian trick I learned.
Honestly, My old ass woulda stayed in the basket with my Flame Trowers till my crew came for me 😆😜😉.. Les is the BEST 👍 👊 . Old G 😁
24:43 A harmonica would certainly chase me away.
Most beautiful country in the world!
At 42:26 after the long silence, I thought that was a black mamba sound for a second 😆
Not me watching and rewatching every Survivor man episode and feeling nostalgic. It really is one of the best survival series ever made.
I killed my TV in 2001 but a friend of mine recorded every episode of Survivorman to date at that time (years ago) for me to watch and it became my favorite show of all time. I watched it on his TV because I choose to not have one anymore. I have learned so much from this show and it's fascinating how innovative your survival techniques are. Thank you for uploading these episodes, I am happy to watch them more than once, and some of these are new to me.
@@TongueTiedNtwisted I promise if you kill your TV you won't miss it. You will wonder why you didn't do it sooner. Not watching TV makes you snap out of a trance. You literally Wake Up!
@@cantfindmykeys No TV but you have access to a PC/Smartphone? Not seeing the logic being followed through here.
I LOVE this guys videos. They are the most honest, real survival videos. No bs or big crews there to help if something went wrong. True survival this guy is doing. Im a big hunter/outdoor enthusist myself so these are some awesome tips and tricks.
Les will never know just how many young men he inspired.
I love the idea of all the lions, leopards and buffalo hiding out because they've heard that Les Stroud is roaming around.
Kicking back eating pizza, drinking some sprite watching this man eat a small crab whole, shell and all. I love this show, I have watched Les survive in every habitat imaginable. He truly is an inspiration and has left an impact on my life, I feel much better on my hunting trips knowing the knowledge I have gathered from watching him survive. Thank you Les for being a part of my life. ❤️
I love when Les is like "Oh I better be careful getting close to this, there might be deadly snakes or scorpions or other things inside I might disturb" and then puts his camera as close as he can to it
Such an epic show!! Les Stroud is an absolute legend!!
So thankful these episodes are on UA-cam. Been nice watching them all
Still the best survival show in my opinion. I've been a big fan for many years and that goes from when I was school through present day. Thank you for uploading these!
Glad he own the rights to his life’s work very rare in this industry
Man these are so awesome. I keep reading comments about having a go pro but I actually like the old cameras, bc les makes it idk charming In ways. Watched 1 episode and I forgot how much I loved this show now I'm on like the 10th episode hahahaha
32:00 "Don't nip on anything in there." Les says. If I was that crab and knew what Les had in mind I'd be going blood brains and balls if I could. LOL
The greatest reality show of all time
just want to say I appreciate that you uploaded all your episodes. Ive been watching alot of them and they are awesome!!
You are the only film maker I saw about Africa which had to much rain!!!
It's always raining no matter where he goes 😂
Ikr even in the freaking Kalahari desert it rained while he was there
He's a damn good harmonica player I'll give him that 🏆
lol him & his flame shooter haha!
THe plastic bottle trick could save your butt but not an everyday method for making your tea xp SO glad this is on youtube now, Thanks Les! I even try to let all the ads play.
Honestly the greatest TV series ever.
The plastic bottle is a great way to get rid of any intruders. You don’t want into your body, but it definitely doesn’t take away the fact that you’re putting plastic particles into your water by melting the plastic. Either way it goes. It still helps you from surviving situation and it’s great advice to give out. 🔥🔥🔥
Bro I scrolled for ages looking for someone to mention this 😂😂
That was my immediate thought after seeing that I'm glad I'm not alone
