Sky Striker engine won't die unless if Engage will be limited. It's a solid engine, have high sinergy with good tier 1/2 decks, have a good recovery. And to be honest, I'm skeptical even with the Engage limited at 1 if the deck will actually die.
Oh no they need Three Engage or their dead.
engage at 1 means that you'll need to kagari it if you want to get any value off of it. Which is a huge consistency hit to the point that the engine won't be good enough to run in decks other than its own. It probably won't kill strikers but they'll probably be a tier 2 list at best

Engage needs to be limited, to slim down Orcust and Sky Striker engines.
They did a semi-good job at hitting Salaman’s, Thunders should have Colossus at 1 or 2.
Then bring in some new deck’s with some aesthetically pleasing cards, or help make Red-Eye’s, Egyptian Gods etc good in real decks.

I dont think he is bro. I tried the decklist out and it didnt brick enough for me to call him a stacker.
in final, he literally set one card and pass twice.
It might be inconsistent but theres a chance he either drew good all day or whenever he bricked his opponent just couldnt capitalize off of it enough. The game is pretty slow right now and most tier 1 strategies need a turn to set up before going off nowadays
That last game was so dumb they definitely rigged it no way you misplay that bad in the last round

I think the format is fine. If anything you should try preparing for orcust matchup even if you lose hard to them. You will eventually gain insight on what little things you can get away with when versing them.
They are very versatile and have very good effects but they arent oppressive.

The synergy between orcust and striker is disgusting, engage in an orcust deck makes it so much more unfair, plus all the draw power they have the deck is obsenely consistent and oppressive

He did win YCS lol he must know what card works better in his build. He doesn't need Nibiru, he can get everything done without it. So main decking pankratops is far better for the end result because it gives him a going 2nd advantage. So if playing without Nibiru is getting great match results and playing with Nibiru is on par with the same macth results as playing without it. It will make it slightly better and a little more consistent in advantage but a going second/situational advantage like main decking pankratops is a far more better option, especially knowing it has a better purpose in match results and advantages for the start of any match/game. I play tested the deck on nexus and it's supurbly built for this meta

It’s a reason they’re still being played. Versatility in it is just that good. But it’ll most likely get hit.
I think orcust is fine. its a fair deck that has alot of counters. The problem here is using splashable cards like Engage to get card advantage and therefore make Orcust less fair. This brings us to another situation where its like kinda the same as Bardiche, using an exploitable engine to make the deck better and unfair. We all should agree that engage should have been put to 1 a long time ago along with Multirole, drones and kagari. Widow anchor could just stay at 3 with engage at 1. But since they are adding more sky striker support, it seems they still want their cards to be searchable through engage and so they kept it at 3. While this may get them money, the meta is suffering due to this. Im fine with Pure orcust, sky strikers etc etc. They all use their own engine to be at the top of the game like Salamangreats. However, using splashable cards in a deck to get advantages by exploiting them is just weak imo. Sky Strikers could have died many formats ago, its actually really easy to nerf that deck, but Konami purposely wanted them to be alive. Putting Engage to 1, Drones to 1, Multirole banned, and you have the most fair Sky Striker deck even with 3 Kagari (since you only have 1 engage anyway).

Unless you play the main sky striker monster or ones that arennt kagari you shouldnt even include sky striker in the name. This is orcust, plain and simple.

ApertureBlack If deck use such cards as one of its winning strategy then its sky strikers/Ocrust deck. It’s just some people like want just play against pure archetype decks. That lack creativity or skill to use.

At the very least make the name correlate with the plays. Thunder isnt called Battery Thunder, Salad isnt called Flame Buffalo Salad ect

Tsh. Crescendo's the issue, in here as Infernity Barrier was. Infernity had swarm potential already, slapping down omni-negates as easy as an Archfiend Summon was the straw that broke it.
