Nicely done! I recently acquired a new Squire CV 50s Telecaster (made in Indonesia). On mine, the neck pickup height adjusting screws are visible with the pick guard in place. Minor point I guess. Anyway, I've been a lifelong Gibson / Epiphone guy. Started playing in 1963. As you say, the versatility of these slabs is remarkable! I can dial in anything from Jazz to Blues to hard rock with a few knob tweaks. I don't use pedals. Just straight into a Fender 40 watt combo. Hit the drive channel for some grit, a touch of reverb but that's all. Having a ball with it!
