Thanks! I've seen all of "The Boz's" work. Most of which was very solid action. He had a few clunkers but no more or less than any action star. A shame his stuff just didn't take off like it should.
This review started it all for me Cecil. If it weren't for your channel I wouldn't have found Lupa ,snob, nostalgia and decker . Thank u for showing me the wonderful world that is GOOD BAD MOVIE REVIEWS!!!
P2P (phenyl-2-propanone) used to be an ingredient for making methamphetamine, something bikers back in this time would be really want. Remember Walter White mention a p2p cook?
12 years later, still hold up as a review. I loved this movie as a kid. I'm from Oklahoma, so the Boz has a special place in my heart as a Sooners football fan.
This is one of those movies where you can remove the protagonist and basically nothing changes. Nancy would probably have found another way to try and break away from the gang, and it likely would've gotten her killed, if her affiliation with Chains didn't get her killed in some other way. The drug deal setup was a pointless failure. Chains got everything he wanted by the end, and his gang was almost entirely wiped out by the National Guard -- it's hard to believe that they wouldn't all have been wiped out anyway without the help of the protagonist, given how Chains basically brought them along on a suicide mission (during which Ice would have also been gunned down, assuming he wasn't killed in the bar brawl early on).
Interesting "The always awesome William Forsythe" - First time I've ever heard someone share my opinion on him... He's one of those "That guy in that movie" actors that I always thought deserved a lot more praise... LOL even for his small part in "Cloak and Dagger" haha. - For some reason, every once in a while I find myself watching Cloak and Dagger which I first saw as a kid as my parents had cable since it was invented... You should do a review on that old classic... Cheesy, a bit kiddish, but it also dips into that whole "New PG" debate a little with some of the violence.
If you look at his film history, the guy has done it all. He's a chameleon. He's one of those guys that will gain/lose weight, change hair, whatever. Plus, he has the chops to back it up. I've never been disappointed by his performances. Even in his lower budgeted stuff he doesn't phone it in.
Henrikson was the reason I even considered going to see this movie. Now I find out William Forsythe was in it too. I might have make a point to seek it out now.
Imho Forsythe is an epic character actor. I loved his work in Things to do in Denver when your dead. Poor bastard didn’t deserve to get the buckwheats!
Love this movie so much, and was excited to see you had previously reviewed it in your "One Tough Bastard" video. It really is a shame Brian Bosworth didn't take off after this movie/this movie was more of a success. Goddamn it rules so hard. My friends and I watched this about a month ago, and when that motorcycle flies into the helicopter, we re-watched it, like, four times in a row. Lance Henriksen, William Forsythe, boobies, explosions, ridiculous brutality... GOD THIS MOVIE RULES SO HARD!!!
Anything this film has going against it, the motorcycle-crashing-through-the-state-capitol-building-window-into-a-helicopter-and-blowing-up scene is worth the admission price alone!
This used to be one my favorite movies as a kid. Lol. I dunno why, but along with blazing saddles, i was a weird kid. Thanks for taking me down memory lane.
At the end, when Lance Hendrickson grabbed the cop's gun and shot at Stone, you can clearly hear that he pulled the trigger but the chamber was empty. Why would an officer who works security at the Capitol building not have his sidearm ready to go? Had Stone's new partner followed suit, he wouldn't have got off that fatal shot.
This is just a true action classic ''The Boz'' in this film was in the asskicking business and boy was the business good LOL. Awesome job as always Cecil btw did you ever see ''One Man's Justice''AKA ''One Tough Bastard''?
The guy at 6:06 that hands something to Joe later appeared in Terminator 2 Judgement Day as the Biker that Arnie takes is clothes boots and his motorcycle from.
DarkLordDiablos funny guy, should have been in more minor roles in big movies. Danny Trejo e.g. started also like him. First Trejo just had some seconds appearence in action movies later starred more.
This movie looks awesome. Over the top violence, gratuitous nudity, awful one liners and from the clips you showed a kick ass metal soundtrack. Pure awesomesauce, now excuse me, I need to go find this.
Binge watching your vids this Labor Day weekend. I love this movie. Lance was completely miscast as the biker leader, yet still amazing. Amusing. BTW: subbed. 👍
It used to be a running joke between me and my dad when I was 14-15 when my parents would ask what I wanted to rent from the movie store, I'd always reply "Something with guns, boobs, and explosions." This movie qualifies to a T.

Hahaha, look at all the Judas Priest concert goers in your HS pic.., was that from that Heavy Metal Parking Lot vid or sumpin? Either way, love it.... looked like me and my old buds in the 80's... Love the vids... And yeah, this flick is great! I've seen it a dozen times.

+Daniel Van Dusen Thanks! Yeah, I miss him too. He was one of the funniest people on the planet. He would be having a field day with all the nonsense going on today.
Cecil, P2P is a precursor to that old school biker meth. ‘Crank’. Heard it was good shit back in the day. And the ear tattoo thing sounds like the coolest thing to me right now. Definitely gonna hunt this down.
i remember they filmed a scene for this down the street from my house. they blew up a gas station or something i think. also, the helicopter jump is . . . the best.
I used to love this movie, great action movie for it's time period...very underrated classic. The action scenes are no more BS than the LETHAL WEAPON movies.
Most action movies of Hollywood use illogical inaccurate information mostly human durability including die hard with Carl survives being hung which no doubt lasted over 1 minute

9:12 This scene was completely ripped off from die hard. Even the bad guy's facial expression is the same, as well as the blur effect from the gun to the cop who shot him. Great movie though.

Well, this was from 6 years ago when I was first starting out and still working a full time job. I didn't know how long I was going to be able to keep doing it. Where I worked at the time had a sound booth and I used to go in early to record, hence why it was slow and tired sounding. (because I was tired, I'm not a morning person) I was still an amateur editor back then as well, which is why the timing and quality isn't so hot. Now I do everything in house and have gear that is better than the stuff we used in the old soundbooth. Everyone has to start somewhere and I like to think I've grown leaps and bounds since then. :)

I've always loved the fact that the cop who has been involved with more biker arrests than anyone goes under cover in a biker gang. Makes me laugh.
Yeah wouldn't word get around about him!
Eh, they did mention it was in different states, albeit neighboring. Still, good point.
You are nitpicking
I was so excited when I saw you reviewed this one! I love this movie so much! Great channel and great vid!

Henrikson was the reason I even considered going to see this movie. Now I find out William Forsythe was in it too. I might have make a point to seek it out now.
William Forsythe is one of my all time favorites. Guy can really do no wrong in my opinion.

my fav one liner from this I think was "This reminds me of my father's last words, "Don't son, that gun is loaded!"
