@@devilinthenewman I don’t believe that cause ramone songs barely have any solos anways and when they do it’s simple for guitar standards that Johnny could play them. It would be impractical to have someone sit behind an amp for one or two songs
ive read on wiki that joey said some of the worst crap was on this album, maybe not their best album but i still love it and this song kicks so much ass RIP legends
e giustamente la rai non si smentisce mai! LOL hanno sbagliato il nome della canzone sulla scaletta...che ridicoli... vabbè, comunque grandissima canzone! LOL
They said they couldn't make it (not punnin lol) in the scene but they got Phil Spector for their producer in their early period so how is it a failure?
Not sure what years you're considering their early period, but for me I think of their beginning in 74 to their third album ad their early days, Tommy produced the first three records, Phil produced End of The Century and he's just beyond difficult and changed the image.
+Jus' Trollin' Is not a failure, but they never really made it commercially. When they arrived to Argentina for the first time, they didn't even had an album released there.
In fact, that's the failure, to be produced by Phil Spector r.r I think "End of the Century" could sounded better with Ed Stasium and Tommy Erdelyi (Tommy Ramone). The only good thing with Spector was "Baby, i love you", but the sound quality was TERRIFIC!!!
Spector ruined their signature sound, but Joey really wanted him to produce it, since he was famous for his “wall of sound” style mixing. Unfortunately, it backfired; the demos ended up sounding much better than the finished album.
OMG! Johnny Played a solo!
Simple, Fast, and it sounds great!
Johnny could play the solos he just chose not to cause he didn’t like to but he does sometimes on strength to endure, and Chinese rock
Usually Walter Lure did on the records but not credited.
Read Ritchies book. Said that for live songs that needed solo stuff, Matt the guitar tech was sat behind the amps playing.

Of course. The offsrping got their sound from 80s OC/LA hardcore bands mostly and Green Day was inspired by Husker Du and the Replacements.
#Be Yourself
end of the century was a good album although its more poppy...but this proves that it sounded great live!!!
