Cool! Wish I had a real video of the whole ride. You wouldn't happen to remember all the stunts of the final season and in what order? I guessed the order of the stunts that I had photos of.
@@dontmesafrusciante lol. yeah, we'd just turn the lights on, shut the electrical power to the track, and go in to get off whatever fell onto the track.
Thanks for great memories, I'm 48 went there a few times in the 80s my mom took myself and my older sister there miss laugh in the Dark and the magic castle.
I remember in 1983 when I was 10 I just finished watching the horror movie The Funhouse and I went to CB the next day and was leery as F in riding LITD because it reminded me of the same type style of ride from the movie and some mutant killer was gonna get me inside. I was scared 💩less to ride it from then on until it closed in 1989. 😳
I remember this! The criss-cross barrier between my little car and that flashing thing. I rode it once. I wasn't scared by the images or sounds, I disliked the sharp-turns my car made. I disliked LITD from every aspect.
Went on this many times. I think I can still smell the ozone from the sparking track brushes as I listen to this. :-)
I can smell the weed from the folks who went on it solely because it was a semi-private place to smoke a bowl at Crystal Beach.
Went on that ride every summer from the mid 60's to the mid 70's, nothing ever changed in there
that was one of the best rides at the park!
I was 3 or 4 when I went in Thurs. Kept my eyes closed till the end and only remember the hanging bat that said thank you.
The noises on this ride are scarier than the scenes
I went there a few times in the 80s was so cool.
I was the ride operator for this the final season '89 . Tks for posting👍

Great sights and sounds!
Thanks. Wish I could add the motion and the smells...
Sad it's gone now.
brings back a lot of memories
The smell of lube oil from the machinery, and the dancing skeletons who "died well lit"
Watching this at 3am probably isn't the best idea.
I seem to remember this place being a little scarier with more skeletons and horror themed displays.
I never took photos of every stunt. Just what's in the video.

i wish i knew the exact spot of the property where this ride was
Thats where google satellite with coordinates comes in good handy
What about the dancing skeletons who "died well lit"
Yep. I never took a photo of that and other stunts. Only what's shown.
burnt my hands trying to pull strings hanging from ceiling!
Wasn't there a dead body here
yes
