Yes when she was a puppy it started to stand up and I kept bending it over cuz I didn't want it to be straight lol

My dog Star has kept me warm before on a very cold tent camp. Dogs are good company and Bailey will love it

Thank you brother yes this one even though it was a little challenging with the wind and the mud and Bailey's paws it was really enjoyable and once I got that tarp back into the car and into the pack her and I slept like logs LOL we had a great time if you get a chance give me a call

Yeah Bailey didn't enjoy it as much as I thought she would the next day I went to go see if she wanted to go for a little ride and as soon as I open the car door she ran back to the house LOL
I'm not big on the car camping stuff but you're walking through some nice terrain with a beautiful dog. It all makes for an enjoyable video.
Ken that was a pretty amazing spot there I plan to go back in the future and Hike that trail a little more and maybe do a hammock Camp down in that area I'm thinking maybe even a collaboration video at some point would be fun as well I like to find out more about the top of that mountain that is a big area of woods

Yes that is a very unique feature with Bailey her one ear up and one down it actually has been like that since birth and never really stood up and I was hoping it wouldn't because I like that look but yes she is a very good dog and thank you for watching I really appreciate that and this would be a good Halloween spot if we could duplicate the fog again LOL

Hey Dan thank you so much yeah that was a great time out on the mountain even though it was raining and windy and foggy I think it over whelmingly went good it could have been nicer if I had the fire but other than that it was great it was a nice hike and Bailey is a very good dog tell Sherri I said hi

It was a lot of fun I was a little hesitant at first about taking her but I know she's good and doesn't like to be away from me so I didn't think I would have too much trouble but I kept her off leash the whole time and I think she would be more afraid if she got too far away LOL but as soon as we went for our first walk she was ready to go home little did she know she was staying all night but she did great
I love that you took Bailey along with you, although it made me miss our Bailey whom we lost a year and a half ago. I wasn't sure that Bailey was going to let you into the bed... thought you'd have to sleep in the seat.

I am sorry to hear about your loss a year and a half ago it's going to be tough when we lose Bailey but hopefully that's not for quite a few years yet yes I don't think she was wanting to give that bed up much but she did great it was a confined area but she found a great spot each time and snuggled up and kept me warm which is really nice too so yes that blue light made me look like Papa Smurf especially with the beard and mustache it had a good back screen like a movie screen because it's all white LOL take care of my friend

It was nice to be able to introduce Bailey to all of our 2.0 family she was on one other video last year where her and I walked to a lake and made coffee by the lake that was her only other video so now that I'm recovering from the stroke a little better I plan to have her on more often

Yes Bailey is a good dog she was a little nervous at first but then settled right in once I started giving her treats then she was like okay this is going to work out pretty good lol and that table Alpine Warrior and I actually figured out that we could keep half of it in the car or part of it in the car and just set the rest up outside with the one leg and cook on it we figured that out at our Cabela's meet up pretty awesome

Yes John that fog was pretty amazing it was very dense and you could actually see it blowing across the top of the mountain in front of me between me and the car when I was filming but yes I plan to go back to that area again it was really nice just hopefully next time it's not too windy

Yes it was very enjoyable once I didn't have the stress of the canopy being up overnight and that wind picking up harder and harder it was a great camp and first night out for Bailey

Hey Bob yes really enjoyed taking Bailey out on that Adventure Bailey will be doing more of those at some point that was a lot of fun just next time we'll make sure there's not a rain and wind storm in that the ground is dry I was having a little much getting her feet from being muddy on that wiping them off quite a bit

That was a great adventure! Bringing a pet along to go camping brings a new challenge that you took on very well. Congrats on the future grandbaby also. Hopefully they can join their famous grandpa on a camping adventure when they get older.

Hey brother thank you for the comment and you got it that does add a bit of a new challenge when bringing a pet along but you know what Bailey was up for the challenge and helped me quite a bit so it's good to have a good dog that makes it so much easier and yes I am excited about Jonathan having a baby not sure when we're going to find out but I think they're going to wait till they give birth to find out if they're having a boy or a girl that's all we did with our first so no reveal until the day LOL take care of my friend

think that metal noise is just loose metal - saw the get together video it was reall good
I thought that at first as well but the noise was actually coming from them driving Stakes into the ground it was three workers I heard voices and them talking about it fortunately I was out around the corner on a dead end and it was very foggy so they work for a couple hours and then got off the mountain there's a gate at the bottom of the mountain so they ended up closing it when they were finished yes the get together at Cabela's is that what you're talking about? If so that was a great time

honestly, i've heard a lot about trekking poles. are they really that needed?
If you are unsteady or like me, had a major ankle injury, they really do help provide stability. Collapsible ones are nice so you don't have to deal with them the whole time.
4 years as a hiker I kind of always thought why get trekking poles do they really help? I always thought they would be cumbersome more so than a help until I had the stroke and was blessed by a pair I fought with taking tracking poles out with me on a hike but after I did I found they were a great asset in hiking to get over logs getting up hills even going downhills you can transfer some of the weight from your lower body to your upper body I'm going to say they're not for everyone and like Abigail said they are an option if you get the collapsible ones then you do not have to use them all the time like on flat terrain trails but if you got some navigating to do and your little unstable on your feet then they work out perfect since I've used them I've been falling less and really the only reason I was falling is because I am still rehabbing the right side of my body from the stroke I think if I didn't have the stroke not sure if I'd be using the trucking poles but now that I've experienced them even if I didn't have the stroke I would probably take them along I enjoy using them that much
