I made this meal this evening for supper, and it was yummy. I used balsamic vinegar with the veggies and added a red onion and red chilli to the radish pickle. Even my hubbie didn't mind the meat free meal 😅.

Feta isn’t vegan
He does encourage healthy eating habits. That said, the farthest he goes is vegetarian...unless he makes something accidentally vegan lol

I really like courgettes - grilled, they go all succulent. Spices sound lovely. I'd put a little honey in that radish pickle - but that's really nice and crunchy to go with the rest. Looks pretty nice - will have to try the recipe

Wow I just got a great idea I uses self rising flour for flat breads it makes it so easy. How’s about a Lebanese just cheese manakeshe in a wood oven a bbq or just hot ass regular oven. Ah your a genius Jamie!

If using gluten-free flour, are the measurements the same?
Someday I MIGHT try this, but since it's Thanksgiving Day today in the USA I thought I'd give Jamie some props on some old recipes & prep/ cooking methods.
A) how to roast potatoes (parboil then oil & flavor 'em up and finish in the oven).
B ) how to line a tart pan without rolling out the dough (patchwork method). Works extremely well for galettes too.. if the filling's not too goopy.

Great question. I think he is probably a wiper 😊
Answer: you don’t. You should never wash mushrooms. Just give a brief wipe with a bit of paper to remove any chunks of dirt.
I use a little soft brush to gently brush of any dirt from the mushrooms

@@wickywills It honestly doesn't effect the mushrooms that much to wash them; if you're putting the mushrooms into a dish that includes any sort of liquid it doesn't matter if you wash mushrooms with water. I've had an upset stomach from not spending A LOT of time wiping the dirt off with dry paper.
I'd rather have a wrap that didn't dribble juice all down my arm when I go to eat it.
Looks great but when I try to make flatbread dough and roll it it turns into a mess 😥
Maybe your dough is too wet? I know when I make flatbread or any bread dough really, I always add almost all the liquid but hold a small portion back. Flour can absorb liquid differently and can be affected by simple things like the weather, the humidity and even differ from one bag of flour to the next. So, if your dough is too wet, hold back some of the liquid. Lightly flour your surface and rolling pin too when rolling the bread out. Hope this helps. Lee :)

I wonder if you could make these same flatbreads with gluten-free flour. As in the kind of mixed gluten-free flour you'd find in supermarkets. Does anyone know if this works?
You'll need to add xantham Gum to help bind the flour if your mix doesn't hav it in & maybe add oil & water to mix the flour if you want to experiment with.a small amount... probably best to try a recipe for GF flatbread in my experience

There are many, many, many other oils that have a higher smoke point than olive oil. Information is at everyone's fingertips, no excuses lol

Great recipe but the kitchen to the right of the image is so underlit that you can barely make out what’s cooking
