I'm a Trump supporter and would vote for Palmer too, even though he plays a Democrat. He made the President to be such a noble man. When Palmer was assassinated and left the series, it wasn't the same without him. My favorite actor from 24.

When David Palmer left 24 I feel the series lost a lot of it's greatness Palmer could have been in every season.
He didn't need to be in every season as it would have been tough to repeatedly bring force him into the story, but he definitely shouldn't have been killed off. He could have popped in every now and then instead. Maybe he's not in season 5, then shows up in 6. Then he's not in 7, but shows up in 8. But definitely shouldn't have killed him. Season 5, despite being great, was the beginning of the end for 24. They went from killing characters to support the storyline, to killing characters only for shock value.
@@bobharris6828 how good is the rest of the show past season 5? Cuz I'm in the process of finishing 5 and I've been very impressed so far... I heard 6 sucks but 7 is good. Also is Die Another Day worth a watch? People have told me it's good but that season 8 works as a better conclusion to the series

@@phantomprism7659 I have watched 24 several times through and through and was always my favourite tvseries. Season 8 is the best for me. Maybe I interpreted it philosophically, Human's effort to bring world peace and how they fail is the theme
@@harrisonchewe7472 I just started season 8. Seasons 1,5 and 7 were AMAZING! They had the most memorable events and I'm glad to hear that season 8 is good cos every season I assume that the show can't get any better, but it does, A LOT!

Obama was so weak compared to Palmer. But obviously in real life a president like Palmer would not exist.
It seemed like Obama’s popularity was because of David Palmer’s popularity.
Well, you guys might think i am crazy saying this but i want the good old David Palmer back to the play somehow. Honestly, he was the definition of being the President. I want him back on the track, i am not sure how they should do it but they can make some twist like he was somehow survived that sniper attack and faked his death and was in hiding ever since then. He should be one of the person to rescue Jack from the Russians along with Kate and Chloe or Tony(He is a good character, i think he should be back as well). Also if Cheng can fake his death then why can't David? I am sure its not going to happen even if i say so, still i am just sharing my opinion. If you believe the same here thumb up.

then Kiefer played Tom Kirkman (designated survivor)😂, 2 kinds of president you want to have. And yes, I hope Tony and Chloe will rescue Jack from the Russian, for me those 2 are truly Jack's best friend, even though Tony became like that
They could deage him for a prequel. They were trying to have a spinoff prequel but it was scrapped.

24 is the movie that attracted me to Dennis Haysbert.And now I've wanted to meet Dennis Haysbert for 17years.

24 was a TV series. Only 1 movie & it doesn't have Dennis.
Funny thing is Kiefer Sutherland and Denis Haysbert both played Presidents on TV.
Even funnier Reed Diamond who played Jason Pilar in S8 played one of the Presidents advisors in Designated Surv vor
And they both played the kind of presidents you would wish for... to each his way, but they both wanted the best for their citizens.
