Having a kid as a celebrity is the easiest thing ever. You don’t even have to raise the kid if you don’t want, they have nannies to do all that. They rarely give up their careers to take care of their children and the ones who do are completely cool with their choice.

I hate that people think actors and actresses are smart just because they memorize words and then speak them in front of a camera. I havent consumed modern media in years. I just listen to classic rock, 80s music, and shows and movies that are over 20 years old. Ever since the government has allowed propaganda to be legally used against it's own citizens, there is no point in watching new media.

Speaking of Katy Perry and her moments on that show: she totally bullied a cute little mom who was a good singer and all Katy had to say to her was that she didn’t believe that it could be a dream for her because she had so many kids. So many people go in that show and have kids and nobody says anything, and she singled this woman out because she was a classic mother and a good representation of REAL womanhood. Katy just couldn’t handle it and I honestly think she was jealous of this woman and lashed out at her. I've been praying for a child for over 10 years. I am currently going through my first miscarriage, and cannot even imagine someone choosing this. Not only are you murdering an innocent life, but I have been in pain and bleeding for 3 weeks now. Anyone who thinks abortion is "healthcare" and morally correct, has something very wrong with their mind.

Oh, my sweet lady. I'm so sorry you're going through this. I ve had 2 miscarrages. The last one was too far along, and I had to have a dnc. When the bills came in the mail, they actually had it coded as an abortion. I can't begin to express the pain and anguish this caused me, and I cried so hard for so long. When we think abortion we think of babies that weren't wanted not a baby whose loss has its parents devastated. We wanted our baby!!!!! You are not alone, though you probably have never felt more so in all your life. I had 2 miscarrages and just had a healthy baby at 42 years old. Don't give up! Never lose hope. What makes me cringe is when celebrities talk about the moment Roe was overturned and how they looked at their children and a tear rolled down their cheek upon the realization that their own child won’t be able to kill her baby on demand.
We've seen that two things are sacred to the left; abortion and "gender-affirming" surgery. Both are euphemistically called "health care ".
As a grandparent I would be devastated not to have those beautiful babies in my life. My salvation and my family are the two best gifts God has given me. I feel sad for those people who don't understand how wonderful it is to add people into your life.

Yeah this is what my sister-in-law (who identifies as male currently, has had top surgery) said to us when we tried asking where she thinks the line is (e.g. after first trimester, up to birth or whatever.)
She was like it’s not even about that. It’s about how it would ruin my life if I got pregnant. I would be in a state of distress and might try to kill myself if I got pregnant.
I don’t think it’s bad to talk about and focus on the difficult aspects of pregnancy/labor/having a newborn. But I don’t hear as much nowadays people talking about how beautifully life-changing and miraculous it is to have a baby. It would make it a lot easier to have an unwanted pregnancy if you were able to focus on those things instead. Or even if we just went back to revering the sanctity of a life of a baby! Like even if you don’t want to keep it, at least respect that baby enough to not kill it! Geez!

My 11 year old daughter recently found out about abortion from hearing something about it on the news. She asked me what it was and when i told her she was so upset to hear that some people willingly make that decision. She proceeded to ask me if i ever thought about it when i got pregnant at 19 and i said not even for a second. She was wanted since i was a little girl, even if it was way earlier than i anticipated.
At 21 I was divorced and living with my parents. I hooked up with an ex-boyfriend and needless to say, I found myself pregnant. He wanted nothing to do with it. I gave birth to a beautiful baby girl. (My mother was with me when I gave birth.) She was and is the light of my life. She’s now 36 and has 2 children with a wonderful husband. She makes me so proud every day. I could not imagine my life without her. I don’t have any other children. She’s my one and only and very precious to me. All of this being said, I wouldn’t have changed anything. Abortion, to me, was never an option.
Exactly! This is the story I can’t wait to tell my girls when they grow up and learn about this atrocity. They were loved since before I had them, even though it was by no means easy or certainly not convenient. Agree. I was pregnant at 19 and my ex made me choose between him and the baby. That baby is now 15. Followed by 11 and 4. Didn't think for one second that I could ever go through with an abortion. I wouldn't be able to live with myself.

The whole Katy Perry video is some of the most intense cringe I ever had to suffer through in my life. The kid's rehearsed speech, her reaction, the others reaction comforting her, the "what ya doing there Katy?" only alleviated the INSANE levels of cringe slighty as a comedic pause, but it was all a setup only to hit me with the cringiest double whammy combo of nukes in form of "Our country has failed us!" and "Fax." I nearly died that day from cringe. Thankfully I haven't and I leveled up my cringe resistance and am able to withstand pretty much any kind of cringe now.

I can tell from Katy Perry’s reaction that she is really really really really really uniquely upset about gun violence. People in inner city Chicago, Detroit, LA and NY can’t possibly know the pain that she is feeling. We must acknowledge her lived experience immediately, if not sooner.
Several years ago I found myself watching a video about the aftermath of the Rodney King riots. In the video, there were helicopters flying over south central LA showing the burning buildings and cars. I became curious if I could find a video that might show me miraculously avoiding death by being beaten by a mob. The day after the riot, my boss sent me to replace the CRTs of several monitors needed by one of his clients. I loaded up my minivan and made my way down from North Hollywood. Using a paper map, I was blind to what was about to confront me-a boulevard full of about 1000 angry young black and Latino men. I hit the brakes and was about to put my car into reverse, when a voice inside my head said, “Put this vehicle in reverse and you’re dead.” Later, I realized that I would’ve offended all of those men, and they would’ve killed me for it. Instead, I put the vehicle into second gear and crawled forward at about 2 mph. The men moved out of my way, but then some of them started slapping the vehicle and demanded that I get out of the car, and a few of them tried to start rocking the car to turn me over. I carefully made eye contact with every man who yelled at me, nodded and said hello. Somehow, I made it to the end of the block.
I was certain that I would be able to find a video where a police or news helicopter showed my 22 year old self making my way through the men, but not one was to be found. Instead, I found several videos from people who were terrified at what happened during the riots, from the safety of their homes 1500 miles away in Chicago. Those people watched it on television, while I, by the grace of God, avoided being dragged out of an overturned vehicle and beaten to death. Divine intervention is the only thing that makes sense to me.

I'm an international adoptee from China. Back when I was born in 2000 it was illegal to have more than one child. Chinese women who were found to be pregnant and had kids would have an abortion forced on them and get sterilized by the government against her will. Add in China's cultural preference for boys that means my biological mother risked her life and her future ability to have children and her freedom to carry me to term.
She left me on the steps of a government building with a red envelope with my birthday. I was placed in an orphanage in the south of China and I met and was adopted by my mother and father.
I was told as soon as I was able to understand that I was adopted and that my birth mom showed incredible courage and selflessness in carrying me to term to give me a better life. If I ever became pregnant I would not get an abortion even if it's unplanned.
I choose to be sexually active and use contraception and to be monogamous with my bf. If a child comes of it I would consider it a slap in the face of my birth mother and the sacrifice and risk to her life to give birth to me and send me to have a better life in the U.S.
For a rich entitled celebrity to crone on about how abortion somehow is a form of mercy to a woman makes me so angry that I would have a few four letter words thrown at her direction. These women have been here and became wealthy off of their talents and the fact that some of them are related to other actresses/singers/clown jester. These women are entitled and some of the most abhorrent people I have seen in my lifetime.
TL;DR: My birth mother risked her life and her freedom in the face of a orwellian hellhole to give birth to me and make sure I got a chance to get a better life. Thus, I personally, would not consider an abortion.
