- So lots of you all have asked us to do some platform specific videos of the New Tailhook pistol brace from Gear Head Works. Here is a video of the Tailhook on our kriss Vector using a custom made adaptor also from Gear Head Works. You've done a great job of dealing with the offset problem inherent in most pistol braces in general while also dealing with weapon specific issues like the ejection port clearance on the Vector. Well done guys. I hope your hard work is rewarded!
Do you have a stock for a gear head works brace adapter??? for the gen 2 Chris vector that dosen’t have a folding hinge built on it????? Would really like your thoughts on this... thanks .... great video👍 I also enjoy all of gear head works Products as I own some
I apologize for my comment on your other video about Gearheadworks.. I didnt have the time to view your channel before leaving that comment. I really dig this step in the pistol hook/brace atf legal process. I too own SBR's of various sorts. Im just tired of constantly having to Tell ATF every state im in with my rifle. Being able to use the mod 3 on a AR pistol (as intended by the ATF) will make things easier. Ive trained with ATF teams that are just as tired of Law abiding citizens having to go through this whole process. They aren't bad people, they have to enforce the law of the land just as I do the country.

Is there a torque setting? Or do you not have to worry about the brace creeping forward?
Can I clarify the setup for the Kriss? So that is the mod 1 setup with an adapter on the vector stock? Or is that a custom stock to fit the mod 1?

I hope the rear section of the Production Tailhook Mod-2 and Mod-3 looks like this & the Mod-1. It is a much cleaner look that I really like. BTW... this is a BRILLIANT design!!
I have a Vector pistol in 10mm that I just purchased with the factory brace, which utilizes the M4 tube adapter and does not fold. I'd love to upgrade to the Tailhook. Will the final product for the Kriss be the entire assembly, such that I would just drill out the hinge pin, pull off the factory adapter and brace and replace it with the GearHeadWorks Tailhook assembly? Will it include a new hinge pin?

Highlander John you'll have to buy a stock from kriss. it will come with a removable replacement pin. the buttpad portion of the stock can be removed with an Alan key. Just need an adaptor that I cannot find anywhere.
great job man. im guessing mine will end up looking sorta like that minus the suppressor if we ffw a year or so lol. i want to some how incorporate a barrel extension (guessing 4-6"), that possibly changes the thread pitch to 5/8 24, then add a surefire warcomp and the diamondhead rail. it has to be possible. cutting down/threading/sbr'ing the carbine would prob be the best way but ill make the cheaper n non nfa way work lol
Are there pictures of this brace on the Uzi Pro with the factory stabilizer tube? This thing looks like a great way to shave a little weight from the whole package.

I would love to modify one of these tailhook mod.1 braces to fit an original Micro-Uzi stock after removing the butplate and installing it on my Uzi pistol. SBR's arent allowed in my area so a braced pistol is as close as I can get.

so to get it like that you still need to buy a stock and mod it and add this $120 little hook? that still might not even be legal since it was originally a stock
Yes, and it is legal the ATF defines a stock as the buttpad portion only. have a good day!

Well i just shit out my last $200 for SBR stamps!!! I cant stand the rubber pieces of shit out there, but look at that 'brace' that is damn nice and I will buy AT LEAST 3 of them when they hit the market. How about some preorder deals?
