- Former US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton has earned the praise of her detractors online after giving "the best summary" so far of the Israel-Hamas-Gaza conflict, in which she doubled down on her opposition to an "immediate ceasefire".
During an appearance on The View on Wednesday, Hillary Clinton highlighted her foreign policy experience in voicing her opposition to a ceasefire in Israel.
The former First Lady pointed out to the show's co-hosts that Hamas has "consistently" broken ceasefire agreements in the past.
She defended Israel's right to self-defence but urged them to follow the laws of war and consider humanitarian pauses.
The 76-year-old maintained her position that a "premature ceasefire" could allow Hamas to recover and reposition themselves against Israel.
"But a ceasefire done prematurely benefits those who do not abide by any laws, by any rules, by any human character value about the value of life," she said.
Why, dont these people ever call for a cease fire from Hamas?

I can give you just one if you want, Arafat in 2000 did not turn down a peace treaty when he met Bill Clinton along with Ehud Barak. The proposals for right for return for Palestinian refugees, sovereignty over East Jerusalem, and a return to pre 1967 borders all rejected! Arafat was even ready to give up 80% of territory! American analysts who were there and I can get you names, they said that Arafat was far more willing to compromise than Ehud Barak. Ehud Barak was under pressure from his own coalition for being too nice. This came 7 years after the Oslo accords were signed, which promised the Palestinians a state within 5 years which never happened! At that time in 1993 Israel had a Prime minister called Yitzhak Rabin who was willing to give Palestine their land which had been promised. What happened to him? He was shot dead by what they refer to as an ultra ZIONIST! You cannot make this crap up.

Just because we agree with her doesn't make her a good person nor one in whom anyone should place their trust. Think for a moment, we 'all' agree with her, because she is simply telling the obvious truth for a change. We also agree with her because we arrived at the same opinion before we watched this video. ANY of us could speak the words she spoke but that doesn't mean all of us should be a trusted member of the U.S Government. Between Hillary and the current slate of Democrats, I would prefer Hillary 10 times out of 10, albeit if the Republicans field a nationalist like Trump she would lose 10 out of 10 times. I wish the U.S. moved to a more proportionally representative system. Clearly, if people are missing Hilary, the U.S. political system is broken.

Release of all hostages.
No release = no "pause"
Only partial release = no pause.
