Hi Angie, love your instructional videos. Regarding EpsonConnect, you can uncheck "print email body" under Email Print settings for each printer. Then only the attachment page will be printed and save on paper.

I have just regular ink in my printer (your other video helped me get it working better). I'm just wondering, can I just print like a nozzle check page instead of a purge file or image weekly to avoid a clog just so I don't use a lot of ink?

Hello Angie! Appreciate and thank you for info. I have a question I am sure you know the answer too...Do you do Epson updates? I heard they caused issues with colors and after two updates I had issues with color. I stopped doing updates and made some recommended changes and so far so good. I am getting requests to update again, but not doing them. Your thoughts? Thank you for any input and everything else you do.🤗

I see that I can use my Gmail to schedule a single email at any date in the future to be sent, but I don't see where using Gmail will allow me to schedule recurring emails, which would be great if I wanted to automate and send 1 email each week. So wanting to be able to do that, I started looking online for help to do that with my mail program; Outlook 365. I kept seeing videos showing how but the steps they say to do do not exist without downloading a utility. Do you have any information on how to schedule recurring print jobs and/or emails with purge files? Thanks again!
@@AngieHolden Same here. Everything I can find seems to be a plug-in and those are not always trustworthy. :( NO idea why Microsoft decided to remove recurring emails from their application.

Great tip! I have the epson 8500 inkjet so it has more colours. Two black and a grey as well as the CMY. I downloaded your flower image but the stripes aren't enough for my eco tank. Did you use specific colour choice to create them? I don't have a dye sub yet but it is on my wish list.

Great info. Thanks. In your opinion, do you really think on your purge sheet that your color rectangle/boxes need to be so big? I've been doing one, but not using so big of a rectangle.
Definitely not for this purpose. It does for what it was intended for which was to clear clogs. For this purpose, you can get by with a rainbow like image that has black in it that is fairly small. Maybe 1/4 of a page. Just something to make the ink flow through all 4 of your tanks.
My 2850 will print emails. But i scheduled one last night and it did not print. This am I noticed the screen was off and the blue power light too. I have sleep set to 13, and the power off setting to off. For this to print, doesn't the blue power light have to stay on always? The tricky part is Epson says the blue power light will go off when asleep. If so how do you keep the blue power light on always?
Sleep mode, set in the sleep menu in setup just turns off the display panel. It is set 1-60 i think. Then there's a separate "off" or power setting in setup, like 1-3 hrs etc, and "off". I set mine to off. However you get there, you want the blue light around the power button to stay ON always. If you have that, and the display panel eventually off, you are good to go! One thing I may have missed.... the new email Addy is long so instead of trying to type it in, go to the email that was sent to you and cut/paste it in the first time. Then you can add it from your contacts. Thanks again!
You can change the email address that EpsonConnect assigned to your printer. You don't have to keep that very long mumble jumple of letters and numbers.
Hello I have an Epson ET 2880 it’s set up to use sublimation ink from new, and I never had any problems printing from design space via my Mac book laptop. I printed a file from design space the nigh before, and it came out fine showing all the colours where they should be. But when I printed the same file today, it filled all the white spaces with the nearest colour so came out solid, ie the red clock should have white hands on it but it just solid red, any ideas please.

My printer automatically turns itself off after a few hours and I can’t get it to auto print while off. Is there any way around this for when I’m on vacation?
I went through this whole process and have tried to send an email from both my phone and my computer. So far I have not gotten it to print anything. I got the printer email address off the screen on my printer - 2850. What am I doing wrong.

To prevent clogging, you could print any image that uses all 4 colors. I would print an image you want to use later for sublimation.

I looked into several methods before filming this video and I did not see anything I would personally recommend.

Third party apps out that are outrageously priced (i.e. 100$+ /yr) and have to pay yearly. Epson should have this built into their utilities.

It doesn't matter. You can use any EcoTank for sublimation. I say go for the one that is in stock and on sale.

Hello! I have an epson Eco tank L3250. If i print a color page or two weekly and black pages regularly, will i still be susceptible to clogs?
It helps to print regularly but these printers can get clogs at any time.

You should be able to make one if you can find out what the colors are. Just use shapes in canva and type the code.

Probably in your printer dialogue on your computer. Try going to printers and opening that up.
Do you still need to schedule prints if you just leave the printer powered on? Won't it just maintain itself if it's powered on?
The Epson line of printers that I am showing here will NOT maintain themselves.

Does this apply to the regular ink?
Sure you could use it for a regular EcoTank as well. However, the clogs are more common on one that is converted for sublimation.

Some people take sublimation ink and add it to an Epson EcoTank.

Anything white is not printed at all unless it was not a true white? Then you could have a clog.

Flatten should not take away your color. Attach takes away color. Be sure you are using the flatten button.

Couldn’t you just “insert” the file into the email so you won’t be printing 2 papers?
Unfortunately it doesn't work that way from what I understand. You might experiment and figure that out.
