The OG Fallouts had a much different fast side material. Once we made the switch it was a game changer (no pun intended) and made this bag a favorite for a lot of throwers. Great video as always Mike! You should check out the Fury, same carpet but a new fast side material for those who didn't like that 9 speed so much ;)
The Fury is on my list of bags to get. Actually, all of the new Buffalo bags are on the list. The Fury and the Nomad are at the top though.
@@MikesBags Don't sleep on the Krush either ;) I think so far it's the most underrated of our new stuff, but it's still early.
The entire line up looks awesome! I haven't figured out where to start but I want to get a review done on all of them at some point.
Love ‘em.
Thx for another great review!
Been considering these and their Area 51 bags. I agree, Buffalo designs are sharp. Appreciate the review, Mike!
The Area 51 bags are not going to be part of Buffalo's new line up. The new bags release tomorrow, I believe. They are keeping the Fallout X, Deadheads and Ambush. They have 6 new bags, 3 carpet and 3 non carpet. I have a set of the Area 51 bags and the Fallout X are a lot better.
Another great review Mike. You talked me into buying this bag. Lol
Let me know how you like them.
Great review Mike, after having the fallout now for a month it takes a minute for that synthetic carpet to break in but not very long I think I Played a couple hours on it down and backs and it first it was a little fast and then all at once it slowed down and became hole friendly and very very controllable thanks for review
That carpet plays so much better after it breaks in. I have to tell people all the time to be patient with it.
Awesome! I may have to look into a set of these!
You should give them a try. They are great bags.
Great review
Another great review sad I missed out on the assaults will watch all the way through from here on out
There will be many more giveaways. I have too many bags right now. lol
Been throwing these for awhile now! Really like them. Waiting for u to review the buffalo shadow, thinking about getting a set.
I already reviewed the Shadow.

I've been watching alot of reviews trying to decide my first set of nice bags and I've come down to these and the bg Vikings. Eventually i think I'll get both
my favorite and go to bag.. Buffalo nation
It really is a great bag.
I'm currently trying to decide between the Fallout X, Deadhead, and Pro Sniper.
After watching your review I think I'm sold on the Fallout X.
Those are all great bags. The weakness of the Deadhead is humidity. The Pro Sniper and Fallout X handle humidity well. That's a tough decision. Personally, I favor the Fallout X over the Deadhead by a little. I would have a hard time choosing between the Fallout X and the Pro Sniper. You can't go wrong with either of those bags.
@@MikesBags I ordered the Fallout X so iyo would there be any need to buy the Pro Sniper too?
No I don't think so.
@Mike's Bags Hey Mike, how do these Fallout X compare to the All Slides 2.0? Hole friendly, template, floppieness, speeds and versatility. I'm only asking since you have reviewed both of these and I don't have access to try these bags without forking out a couple hundred bucks first. 😞 trying to make my funds last if you know what I mean. Appreciate your time and advice. Thanks
Curious to know your thoughts on BG Wizard? It seems like a slightly more rollable bag compared to the Fallout X? Any plans to do a review on it? Really appreciate the quality and work you put into these reviews!
The Wizards are a more rollable bag. They have more bounce to them whereas the Fallout X land softer. I am planning on reviewing them, but I heard the template changed for the 2023 bags. I have a set of 21-22. I'm going to try and get the new bags to review. I hate to review the old bags if they are different from the new ones.
@@MikesBags makes total sense to wait for the 2023. I agree with you on that point. Looking forward to it! Thanks!
Do you plan on reviewing the Hype bag? I was curious if the slow side material was a linen type. Bought the Fallout X after this review and love them. Thanks
Yes, I plan to review it. Just have to get my hands on a set first. From the pictures I've seen, the slow side is that linen material like the Psycho X, Widow X, Victory, Karnage, etc.
Those Fallout X bags are awesome! Glad to hear that you love them, too!
Just ordered my first FalloutX Fire and Ice limited edition 6/9 speed. I think I ordered them for the new design instead of the playability 🤣🤣
I completely understand. I've bought more than one set based solely on the design.
Great review. Thanks! Excuse my ignorance, but is there any specific way these bags need to be broken in?
Sounds like the 2023 fallout x differs in template size from the 2021-2022 here. My 23 fallout x is much smaller template than viper R. Pretty average size (5.875x5.875?) and pretty full
Have you tried out the Ambush yet? Curious about those too.
Yes, I have a set of Ambush. They are a smaller version of the Viper without the dots. I like them a lot.
Hey Mike, as always thanks for an awesome review. Thinking of getting these I’m just worried because the template is so large that the bags will feel thin. Would you say that’s your experience with them? Also if you had to give a recommendation for a big template, FULL feeling bag that also has the 6/9 speed, what would you recommend? Thanks in advance.
The 2023 Fallout X bags are not as big. The template is a medium template now.
There are not many full bags that are on the faster side. The best bag I can think of is the Feist Slinger. It's a full bag with 6/8 speeds.
Mike, I am looking at the Fallout X bags. My question is have you thrown the Local Bags Hustler X? And are they similar? I hear Local has changed to the disc fill. Can you give a comparison between the two?
Thanks Mike.
I recently got a set of the Hustler X bags. I should have a review up with a week or two. The bags have the same material combination and the fill is a disc fill. It is very similar to the Fallout X. I'll know more after I have throw the Local bags.
Thanks for the review! I've heard great things about the Fallout Xs and you sold me on them!
I'm also curious: what other brands use the same disc fill?
A lot of companies use the disc fill. Cornhole Scenario, Lucky Bags, Black Sheep Baggers, Swag Bags, Local Bags (it's what they call alien resin) and Ultra (although I think they use a mix of disc and beads but it's mostly disc). Fire Cornhole uses it in some of their bags. The description will say all-new resin formula and that means the disc fill. There are others but that's what I can come up with off the top of my head.
@@MikesBags thank you sir!
Which one is small and tight? I threw one that was tiny
The 2023 Fallout X bags are a little smaller than the ones I reviewed in this video.
I just ordered a set of fallout x’s. How did you break these in or what suggestion would you give to break these in? Would you use og toss sauce on these?
I think I used Sac Relax on mine. OG Toss Sauce would work just fine on these. These won't take much to break in. They are not very stiff when they are new.
Hey Mike, can you do a review on the Buffalo Hype’s?
They are on my list of bags to review. I just have to get a set first. I have a bunch of bags still to review. I'm trying to get those reviews done so that I can get some of these other sets. A review of the Hype is coming, I just don't know when that will be.
Have you tried the B3 bags
Yes and I love them. I have several different sets of B3. I'm working on a review of the Ranger. Should have it up in a week or two.
Ordered the new Deadpool Fallout X can’t wait to break them in and smoke my friends and family with them!
Awesome! Let me know how you like them.
@@MikesBags got them yesterday, I can’t put them down, they are breaking with every throw, got an order of bag butter coming too, these bags are insane! Thanks for all your info!
You should do a buffalo bag Hype bag review.
The Hype is on my list to review. I don't have a set of them yet so I will have to purchase one. I'm trying to get the reviews done of the bags that I currently have before I purchase any more so it may be a bit before I get a chance to review them.
@@MikesBags I look forward to it. I enjoy all your bag reviews. Thanks for all the information
Hey Mike- I'm a big "feel" player. Started off with Typhoons and learned to love the softness of the bag in hand. I have Dead heads and really like the feel of them, while they are made from different materials, the slow side has that soft feel as well. How would you compare the carpet side of the Fallout to either of the others, if at all? Thanks in advance!
The carpet is not as soft. Once it breaks in fully, it feels fine but it does take a while to break it in.
@@MikesBags Thanks for the insight!
Mike, do you have any bags you’d recommend that are similar to this but don’t run with such an expensive price tag? I love the fallouts, but it’s getting hard to warrant the price.
Keep checking their website. They are always running sales and sometimes you can find them for under $100. If you don't need an ACL stamp, the Corntrix Drop Ins are they bag to get. If you need the ACL stamp, the Local Hustler X is the closest bag to this.
@@MikesBags Thanks for the response, Mike. Super informative, as usual. I went ahead and ordered the Corntrix bags. That price is unbelievable these days.
@@MrJonPala Awesome! Let me know what you think of them.
If you're looking to sell those let me know. I love the old design. 😁
I don't plan on selling these. These are part of my regular rotation of bags.
To me when broken in there is no way this plays like a 6 on the slow side it’s way slower.
A lot of things can affect the speeds of a bag. In some way, every set of bags is different. My bags are fully broke in and they play like a 6 to me. I've thrown a few other sets and feel like they play close to the same.
I'm not saying you are wrong here. Yours may play slower and/or your board conditions may be slower. Speeds are very subjective. 👍
How would you compare to the viper r?
The carpet is faster than the Viper R and it doesn't feel as soft. This carpet has more of a synthetic feel whereas the Viper R is a soft carpet. Same fast side material, same template, similar flop and fill.
So did they just change the name on these but it’s the same material?
As far as I know, the bags are still the same.
Okay that is legit just the ghost recon logo though
🤣
Do you like the fallout x or BG wizards more?
I prefer the Fallout X but it's close. I enjoy Wizards but I like the larger template of the Fallout X.
For me, the BG Wizards sometimes kick and slow down under humid conditions. Given that it is the same slow side as Fallout X, I’m surprised Fallout X doesn’t do the same. Or are you suggesting, playing the Fallout X fast side when humid? Thanks
The Wizards are a smaller, fuller bag with a bouncy fill. That will cause them to kick more, especially when the boards get sticky. The flat fill in the Fallout X allow them to land much softer and reduces the kick. That's why the Wizards are better at rolling, flopping and cutting.
These do slow down some in humid conditions but they still move and are very playable.
Ghost recon wildlands logo? Lol
🤔
What do you mean other players won’t know how you’re playing!?😂
They’re pros at the game 😅
damn i thought this about the game fallout...yk...from bethesda
damn same
🤣
@@MikesBags wait yo have you heard of fallout? That's cool
Yes I have.
