I just realised ... I didnt cry when season 8 ended. I cried when Oberyn died. I was so sad on Red Wedding. I was in tears when Ygritte said "You know nothing" for the last time. I was so touched by many different events. I though that i will be so happy or so broken by season 8 but when it finished ... I felt nothing. I just didnt care. Its the saddest reaction that i could expect from myself ... Thanks for making me sad by this video. This is something that I've been looking for. Emotion. Any.

Absolutely. It's like Dany says to Tyrion after leaving Daario, what scares me is that I felt nothing. This vid is something I was deeply missing, and I feel more complete with it now, and that's a true gift

Yes. Me too. When finished Lotr, with end titles of "The Return of the King" I cried a lot... for days! But Lotr was a masterpiece!
I wish they had done it that way with the new Rains of Castamere version playing in the background!!!

The Lord of The Rings trilogy is still the King of fantasy. The short GoT rebellion died with season 7. They got close to overthrowing the ancient King, but they made the mistake of thinking that was a possible endeavour.
Maester Pycell, Mance Ryder, Archmaester Ebrose, Jeor Mormont, Edmure Tully, Benjen Stark, Lysa Arryn... are missing. But men thank you, it’s amazing.

I mean theres lots more, Maester Aemon, Viserys Targaryen, Grenn, Pyp, Alliser Thorne, Olly, The Three Eyed Raven, Jojen and Meera Reed, Rickon Stark, Osha, Ros, Shae, Gilly, Craster but theres so many and he got the ones that mattered, and the feel of it. And thats the amazing part
The amount of work you've put into this is insane. I guess GoT deserved it after 7 great seasons of pure enjoyment!

Dude I just saw your vid where you had LOTR music play during Jon's farewell to his siblings/cousins which makes perfect sense as Jon's goodbye to Sansa, Arya & Bran does indeed mirror that of Frodo's own farewell to Sam, Merry & Pippin given how LOTR was one of George's 2 primary influences for creating A Song of Ice & Fire. I also love your Battle of The Bastards+Star Wars: The Force Awakens fan trailer👍🙂✌

I love how you respectfully put a scene the characters are most well known with next to them just like LOTR's did.
Uhm.... Where’s Hotpie? He’s literally the biggest hero in Westeros. Made sure Brienne found Arya, which led to the Hounds “Death”, and Arya becoming a faceless assassin. That led to Walder Frey, Littlefinger and the Night King’s death. Furthermore he sent Arya north, as he knew that was where her destiny led. He has decided to be rather obese, and not very clever, to make sure noone found out who he was. And that is the Lord of Light, who has been manipulating the events since the beginning. Also he led to Arya and Gendrys friendship. Goddamnit.
he risked everyones life by sending Arya home in the north. Because of that, Cercei wasn't killed by Arya and so the north tried to convincer her by sending this mission north to get the whight. If it wasn't for him, Dany probably wouldn't have gone mad, they could have fought the Night King with three dragons north of the wall or just leave him be or wait until next summer to fight him with all might of the 7 kingdoms

When we were still waiting for Season 8, I had said on Tumblr "Hey, they should do the ending credits of Game of Thrones like the one in Lord of the Rings." And you did it! You did exactly what I imagined it would be and I'm so glad I found it!

I really wish that I could give this a billion likes, I was really really hoping that someone would make a Middle-Earth style end credits sequence to Game of Thrones. Top notch quality my friend, truly top notch. I do wish that you could've had The Last Goodbye (The Hobbit ending theme) play right after Into The West, just a friendly thought :)

It's amazing how the song seems to fit so well, even though it's from a different franchise. Then again, GOT and LOTR are woven from the same fabric, so I guess that helps.
The ending to game of thrones is lacking in so many ways it will take years to fully understand how much they messed it up.. no closure for characters thats been with us a decade, every death felt weightless, the logic was gone the pacing was gone, there are so many missing scenes ( Bran coronation, Jon telling arya and Sansa about his mother, actually talking about him being the true king,danny's death is never talked about again JUST TO NAME A FEW ON TOP OF MY HEAD) GoT deserved better, damn. *"bRaN tHe bRokEN"*

when I saw The Return of the King at theatre and this final title song came on, I cried with emotion and nostalgia for the wonderful end of an epic and perfect trilogy. When GOT ended, I couldn't wait for the torment of seeing a great series ruined to be over. Lotr gives me chills and excites me to this day. it's sad to see the images of Got on this music, the beautiful characters and think how beautiful the ending could have been.

I do so wish that right after Into The West that The Last Goodbye could've played next, the 2 Middle-Earth ending themes playing back to back in a RoftheK-inspired GofTs end credits sequence would be simply devine but this work of art is as close to perfection as anyone could possibly ask for👍😊👏🐺🐉🦁🦌🗡

While I’ve only seen a few parts of GoT, I do know that the actual ending to the whole series disappointed A LOT of people, you even had to use the ending of a masterpiece trilogy to make GoT ending better
