Thank you very much! I've watched all your CNs videos and I can tell that your explanations are the best. This is my one of the best youtube channels now!
Your efforts are so deep than they seem to be , very meticulously animated vdeos with all the description texts and key concepts separately. Kudos to you man :)
I just love your videos ever since I discovered your channel...it's made anatomy so so fun and enjoyable☺☺☺ I just can't wait for the official video on the ear itself 😁!! Thanks a billion Dr. Taim, hope to enjoy more amazing content post Ramadan, peace brother👋😊
Shouldn’t the Vestibular membrane be moved instead of Basilar membrane first? 14:48 @TaimTalksMed Organ of Corti has tectorial membrane which moves due to movement of endolymph which comes from scala vestibuli and passes to scala media then passes to scala tympani and the pressure is relieved at round window. Correct me if I’m wrong guys. Thanks 😊
Hey! You're totally right, I intially used Singh, I. (2017). Human neuroanatomy (10th ed.) as a primary source making the scheme. As I now re-read through that book again, I see this; ''Efferents from the inferior colliculus also project to the superior colliculus of the same side. The superior colliculus, in turn, sends these auditory signals to the spinal cord via tectospinal tracts.'' p.76, under Efferent Fibers I should've drawn an extra line from the inferior colliculus, to the superior colliculus, and then the tectospinal tract from there. I'll make comment on it under the description. I'm making a PDF version this scheme now, and will update it as well. Thank you for noting it!
