I think its more of a placebo effect where if you think that you're invisible then you act invisible. Anyway, just buy something comfortable (3m is the norm here) that you "think" will help you catch some dinner!

The fish did not change color it was red all along it just looks like it because the ocean obsorbs red light its the same reason why the ocean appears blue

how do you hold it cocked for so long. when i take out my three prong i only cock it when i see the fish and my hand still cramps up real bad after an hour.
They arent little, if you want to cacth a big big fish you would have to go far out or at night or something but if you just want so speargun some fish then these fish are great !

Squeeze ur nose, and breathe into it and the resulting pressure will lessen the pressure that u feel on ur head
Try using the Frenzel maneuver instead of the Valsalva maneuver, which may be the one you are using now... Frenzel works well even at great depth

+simon luck He can probably equalise without holding his nose. It takes practice, but many experienced divers and snorkelers can do that.

I have always used 6 foot. Maybe 7 foot too long for you. If choice is between 5 and 7, choose 5. (over 50 yrs spearfishing)
