Sweet video, so much clarity in the water. I have been using the paralyzer tip and it is a lot easier to hit fish with it than the single tip. It tears the fish up more though.

I have a question- do I need a special permit to do pole speaarfishing in Greece, mention that i'm not talking about a regular speargun. I read somewhere I can practice pole spearfishing without a license and a flashlight, away from beaches.

I enjoyed this video! I miss plenty too, so what? lol.... I say measuring success by comparing it to the misses is not the way I look at things. If people don't want to see real life progression and want to judge a true experience, then they can choose to watch other video highlight reels that edit to where you only ever look awesome and flawless. The journey and spending time out there doing what you love is what counts, and you're depth and breath holds were really impressive. And I saw you get some kick ass shots on some great fish that were hiding pretty well. Great video thanks for making it!

Roughly how long is your homemade polespear? Do you think using a pole shorter than 7ft in the Med would be too great of a challenge given how scared the fish are?
My good polespear is a predator and it’s 2,70m….trust me it’s hardly enough and only in a few cases!

I am also spearfishing in Greece and was wondering if it was legal to use a flashlight to look in between/ under rocks. I am asking this because I know that using a flashlight at night is illegal.
Υοu can make a call to the port authorites and they will answer your question...It might also be written on your fishing license...

i was curious about pole spearfishing, now i think it is more like a challenge compared to sandow or even easier pneumatic spearguns. Pole spears require strengt to arm, so u use energy, and energy equal oxygen, so that you can't stay as long underwater with a pole spear as with a speargun.

YEs right on my friend...you bern O2 to keep it loaded and you can only make very close shots so you need to get close to the fish

Στο 5ο λεπτο ξεκιναω τη βουτια στη τρυπα...Μεσα εκτος απ το ψαρι που χτυπαω στο 5:48,υπαρχουν αλλα 4 μικροτερα ψαρια...Η στηρα τελικα σκιζεται κ η επομενη βουτια ειναι στην ιδια τρυπα...Το ψαρι εχει μεταφερθει στην αλλη μερια κ πετυχαινω εγκεφαλο...Στην αναδυση φαινεται το σκισιμο απ το ξεψαρισμα πριν...

Δημο με καλυψες... μπερδευτηκα γιατι λειπουν σκηνες στο μονταρισμα, παντως και παλι ΜΠΡΑΒΟ με ολη την σημασια της λεξεως!!!!

The 3 prong is for smaller fish man.
If you are targeting larger fish then you will need a single tip

Υπαρχουν ενα σωρο polespear στην αγορα...Μπηκα κ ειδα διαστασεις κλπ κ εφτιαξα κατι παρομοιο...Απλα πραγματα,μου κοστισε 25ευρω, μαζι με την εργασια στον τορνο...Το λαστιχο ηταν ενα 14αρι αλλα ηταν το δοκιμαστικο...

ord of advice bro: try not to aim at the fish until you are ready to shoot and shoot fast. they get scared and prepare for a blast off if they sense yo as a danger. try swimming perpendicular to the fish and no towards.

κι εγψω ψαρευω με τετοιο. Πριν 2 μερες χτυπισα 2 μπαφες και 2 κεφαλους , 3 φαγκρια μια λαπενα και ενα γοφαρι 4 κιλα με ψαροντουφεκο ομως και πιν μια μερα χτυπισα μια τσιπουρα μια μεγαλη λαπενα και 2 σουπιες και ειμαι μονο 11 χρονων

Ρε φιλε τι λαστιχα του εχεις βαλει 14mm? Γιατι εχω ενα pole spear ειναι περιπου 1.30 μηκος αλλα εχει πολυ λεπτα λαστιχα και κοπηκανε...
Τωρα φτιαχνω ενα με πισω μερια αλουμινιο 1.30μ και πανω μερια 70εκ ανθρακονημα (Carbon Fiber) συμπαγες με την βεργα(με σπειρωμα) τρυπημενη μεσα το οποιο χωριζεται σε 2 κοματια (βιδωτο). Ο σωληνας σου ειναι συμπαγης ή οχι? και τι διαμετρο + παχος εχει? Ευχαριστω εκ των προτερων και αν μπορεις κανε αλλο ενα βιντεακι με ψαρεμα με το pole spear! Καλες αναδυσεις!

Φίλε θα επαναλάβω ότι κάνεις βιντεάρες. Και θέλω να ρωτήσω επειδή βασανίζομαι με τις μάσκες που θολώνουν μπορείς να μου προτείνεις κάποια φθηνή και αξιόλογη όμως . Πες μου και τι μάσκα χρησιμοποιείς εσύ. Ευχαριστώ πολύ.
Προσωπικα χρησιμοποιω την micromask...ομως στον καθενα καθεται διαφορετικη μασκα καλα...οποτε μασκα πας παντα και δοκιμαζεις σε μαγαζι...το θολωμα της μασκας σταματαει με καλο καψιμο των κρυσταλλων..
