Climate Finance has been developing fast in recent years, and Asia’s financial regulation and the markets are at the forefront of the world. China has seen incredible growth in green finance over the past few years, reflected in rapid progress in clean energy, low-carbon transport, and other areas. China's green finance policies have promoted investment in various assets and contributed to the world’s largest green bond market.
At the Asia-Pacific Regional Seminar, we brought together representatives from key government departments, regulators, investors, banks, corporations, industry associations, think tanks and other industry leaders to discuss the challenges and opportunities of green finance and transition finance in public and private sectors in China and the region, the urgency of climate change and how to support the low-carbon transition of the economy.
