I think this product is exactly what us detailers and car lovers need. Carpro, you guys always come out with outstanding products that are trustworthy, and I use them as a benchmark. You always bring out cool stuff I didn't know I needed, with exception to this product- I need this and will be buying a bottle in the spring being in the UK we are currently in rainy season which lasts for 11 months and 3 weeks. I'll apply some when that big yellow thing in the sky returns....
Thanks for featuring DLight Ryan! Great visuals and info for people interested in the product. If anyone has any questions about the product, we are always here to assist!
Nice one Ryan, I think this product is ideally what I need. I've got quite a bit of Xpel on my vehicles and this is definitely needed. It'll be interesting to see Carpro's accelerated UV testing. Ive always wondered about product claims to UV protection and nobody has ever explained why their product prevents UV and how they've tested it. To have a dedicated product, especially from Carpro you instantly know It'll be exceptional as everyone values Carpro
@@79blustone thank you! Agreed everyone claims UV protection but no one has actually put out proof as far as I’m aware. Looking forward to seeing the test. It’s pretty cool This is designed specially for UV protection.
Thanks for an honest thorough video. Would love to see a real world long-term update specifically for headlight yellowing. And yes, would be nice if they made this in a smaller bottle specifically for headlights only. $90 is a lot just for **maybe** some extra UV protection for headlights. Or, it wouldn't be so bad if the product had a LONG shelf life and could be stored away until needed again.
Great video, I think for professionals a single thick coat then waiting for 10 mins before levelling will be the way I test. An idea for a future test I think would be checking its durability on a heavily oxidised headlight, as opposed to a newer car which the headlights seem to last many years even without such a coating.
Thanks ryan, vonixx has a similar product to this, but i think this will be much better. polishing my project car this morning, nice to have the early upload
Thanks for the demo Ryan. I've gone through the headlight restoration process on a couple cars and just used the coating contained in those kits. I imagine this would be a much better option for longer durability.
Are you planning to lower your X5? Would make those new wheels look so much better. As an X5M owner myself, it’s a much needed mod. The wheel gap on these things are terrible.
Yes I am, I'd be fine with 1- 1.25 inch something subtle. I agree it will make it look amazing. Not sure how friendly bmw is to that while it's warranty? I was going to wait the 3 years then start modding including making the exhaust a little more throaty.
@@TTTTTTT-F95 Oh, totally agree with you. I just meant will BMW try and void my drivetrain warranty or something. I'd rather wait until out of warranty if so.

Thank you for the review!, we will show soon lab test accelerated UVA UVB test to show how it protected from fading or yellowing.
So happy you came out with this been looking for a ceramic coating for headlights for a while and just seen it's available in Australia. Cheers
