- Football has some heated moments.. one of the most notorious moments happened when LeGarrette Blount threw a devastating punch after a loss to Boise State. Most people don't even remember the game, this punch overshadows it all.

KTO yay
we did!!
KTO Can you do next year standings predictions.
Hey KTO keep doing what your doing😁😁😁😁😁
KTO can you do a what if some other team drafted Tom Brady or what if the Browns drafted very good players
Even Blounts teammates were like “yeah we ain’t backing him up”
Vanilla Killa I don’t think he needs it
Its amazing that Blount managed to have a good pro career that resulted in Superbowl rings with New England and Philadelphia. Everything could have been stopped on this day.
If it were 2023 maybe. But 2009? Nah the nfl didnt give a F about that typa stuff back then. Look at who was in the league, pacman jones, plexico burress, aaron hernandez. All known trouble makers all starters at one point or another while they were
He was mediocre at best in the NFL. He was lucky to have Tom Brady win him a ring after he fumbled the ball away in the super bowl.
@@heftyind you sound really dumb. He was key factor into winning the eagles a Super Bowl
What’s more shocking is that September 2009 was 10 years ago
Truth
What's crazier is it took 10 years to make this video...
11
11 almost now
11 now 😳
Dam the amount of times Blount said I’ll never do it again and did it again made him lie more often then Ronnie2k

Probably the cleanest punch ever landed by a football player. lol
Well when the other guy is looking away from you better make it count...sucker punch...he ran his mouth about how they were going to beat Boise and they choked...he showed what kind of person he was
Yah and no helemt on either, better make it count 👊
Luke Pike stg
And the with Richard Sherman
That's a sucker punch you fucking moron
hey random person. punch is at 4:39

I was going to like this comment but I saw it was at 69 and I didnt want to screw it up
Thank you
and rew sucker punches are the most pussy thing you can do
Bad grades? Give me a break, I'll bet 70% of the NFL got pushed through college because of their athletic ability, Definitely not their high IQs. (sarcasm added)

@@thagreatfrank3071 yes and your waaaaay out of your prime to do ANYTHING physical. Congrats dude ur old
They tried to ruin him n he still got 3 rings
Blount came from emcc (where last chance u is)
DA GOAT Damn i was just watching last chance u
DA GOAT I completely forgot about that
Well this video shows you why he came from degenerate recovery school
Roman He went there because he was either lazy in school, stupid, or both. He didn't go for this type of shit.
8MoneyIzmyMission8 still makes him a degenerate
After a loss I mean the feeling of hostility is instantly eternal soo taunting him wasn’t a smart move
This dudes editing is on point like the music and everything
I met Blount at a football camp when he played for Tampa Bay and he was a really nice guy. Super amazing to the kids too
Young kids don't even know how good Boise State was
I'm 11 and I do my bday is tomorrow
Plain Dane good enough to remember them losing like every bowl game lol
50-3
Blue mountain state was better
On god BSU was amazing back then. Kellen Moore and Tidus Young where freaks of nature back then.
one of the rare 'sports punches' to actually be accurate and hit its target
I love how Scott Frost held him back the whole time.
Yeah well he’s held an entire program for 4 years so this isn’t that hard to believe

KTO please do a video on what if Seattle ran the ball in Super Bowl 49. Since it was pretty recent you can go more in depth about it.
Examples: would Seattle win, would they trade for jimmy graham, would beastmode retire, would malcom butler still be on the pats...,
KTO if you see this please make a video on this I think it'll be very interesting to watch
Malcom butler only has 6 ints and he is already 27
Venny Trevino that int during the SB was his only one that season
Digital Boi He should also do a what if on the Seahawks if they never given up a 10 point lead.
Digital Boi yea and the next year he only had 1 as well but last season he had 4
Venny Trevino INT's don't tell the full story LMAO he is a top teir corner. OF course a cowboys fan would say stupid shit like this
Good video bro, awesome build up, articulate and clear. Good job all around.
I watched this game live and it was surreal. I'm also a Titans fan and we signed Legarrette as an undrafted FA then eventually released him. I also remember him punching a teammate at practice lol
Great content, man. Love hearing about these stories from the lore of college football.
The punch didn’t even looked that hard honestly
“Didn’t Looked that hard” yeah On UA-cam 20 years later. It was quick and to the point
Truck Wilson Unless you’re on the receiving end.
@Transpecies Grolar Bearalso when you get hit in the chin it's your brain who get damage because the brain hit and hit your skull and that's why people get down when they get hit in the chin they got knock out
I have this nagging suspicion that it was harder than you're giving it credit for.
He got him right on the jaw-line, that's the knockout spot. He's 240lbs and the guy didn't see it coming.
This channel is so underrated

He has a temper but by alot of teammate accounts hes actually a nice dude. Guys fight in practice all the time.
Players fight in practice all the time, this shit wasn't nothing
Why are people calling legarrette Blount a savage for this? He got shut down by that defense to the point where didn't net a single positive yard. All he did was put his immaturity on display
Kyle Hanson I watched that game and it was the offensive lines fault. He's a savage for dropping that dude like nothing. I'm sorry you don't approve you nerdy looking bitch. I can tell just by looking at you that you can't take a punch either so you're just salty.
@@adamryan5574 If you think he's the salty one in this situation I've got some news for you man...
@@adamryan5574 yeah dropping a guy who has his helmet off and turned his head is real savage. If he wanted to be the man, he should've done it on the field. Btw, a punch like in any other context can get you kicked out of college, if not in jail. Real men don't have to sucker punch to prove it.
Sir Bobalot like the saying goes, if you can’t handle the heat, stay out of the kitchen. Dude shouldn’t of even went mess with Blount
His longest rush was 10 yards so he did have a positive rush play...
Thanks for the titans clip at the end. I always wondered what happened there. Out the gate he was clearly the best rb on the field. Now I know why he was cut.
Crazy how he even made it into the NFL. Makes perfect sense now why he landed in NE at some point.

Great turnaround story.. from this, to undrafted, to 2 rings and a bunch of highlight reel runs
I watched this at least 3 times in the last year. Dudes face when he got hit 😂 classic
The cutoff just before the punch landed in the beginning gives me freakin chills, holy crap!
If this were hockey, no one would care
teddyanderson89 A few mins in the penalty box don’t mean shit when you got beef. Might as well throw down
teddyanderson89 True
If this were hockey and a guy sucker punched someone both teams would ensue into a brawl. As an example, my first ever game was Ottawa at Buffalo and it wasn't even a sucker punch that began it. But nevertheless, it was a fantastic brawl. One of our players got sucker punched some time down the road and there was a big stink about it. My point is that, they care a lot about sucker punches but if 2 guys hate each other, they drop the gloves and fight. Another example is from my 2nd favorite team Washington. Tom Wilson and Ryan Reaves (correct me if I'm wrong) and talking shit to each other while they were in the penalty box and the exact moment they got out they dropped the gloves. That was a great playoff game to a perfect season for my Caps ;)
@teddyanderson89 violence isnt the answer to everything
Isn't that weird. Ppl get mad when psychos do crazy shit.

You realize he didn't knock him out, right? Hout got right up after going to his knees.
He's played with the best team in the NFL, and has a couple superbowl rings to his name! His life didn't go too bad after the "punch!"
That wasnt security carrying Blount off the field. It was
SCOTT FROST! Alone.

Good old Byron, was our crosstown rival. LakeCity HS.
Nice vid bro
Blount's fighting strategy
1) execute cheap shot
2) back away
Classy.
it's not Blounts fault the idiot who started the fight wasn't intelligent enough to know that you probably should be facing the individual you just started a fight with lol and backing away was smart smh Blount layed him out in front of a group of Boise State players and you want him to just stand there and possibly get jumped? You sound stupid
Actions have consequences. Unconsciousness is the consequence of running your mouth.
I remember watching this live. An thought LB will never be heard of again.. Prove me wrong
The comedy in the punch tho. The fact that his head coach was right there and was immediately saying hey dont do that "boom" and has to get up from being clocked to his coach staring him down
Idc what any of you guys say he is a straight up savage😂
Riley Jackson fax
Joseph Lariviere no they run them over just like blount does in the game
phantomblade89 he asked for it.
Yan Choo You may want to recheck the stats for that game. He ran very little because Boise knocked his ass down!
Riley Jackson spelled piece of shit wrong
That, still to this day, was the funniest punch I’ve ever seen in my life. I’ve never seen anyone been punched mid laugh in real life before or after this game. I’m not saying Blount should’ve done it, but I’m also not going to say Hout didn’t ask for it.
Low iq, high testosterone, low self esteem, low self control...bad combination.
He’s a cocky bastard I doubt he has low self esteem
And racist
dassaer1980 thanks professor 😂
Brandon cricket? Who says that little boi
And a racist black guy just like most of them.
Legarrette Blount force trauma. I remember seeing this shit after the game lol.
Its just a punch. No big deal. But his Boise teammates get a big L for not retaliating
Coach Pete was right next to Hout, trying to stop Hout before it happened. He was grabbing him, trying to get him away from making a stupid comment, actually distracting Hout when the punch came. He would have had any players' ass for retailiation. Way too much respect for Pete's authority to do it.
Wesley D The game was so over that half the crowd was gone and some players had already headed to the locker room. The game hadn't been chippy at all. It was just Blount being an ass hole. Why engage with an idiot.
They just let Blount jump around and beat his chest
Staight up Blount shoulda been on the ground after that shit.
Just Pelé pele is garbage at soccer

'Security' was actually Scott Frost power cleaning Blount from the turf. Frost could still play at 44. That's one yoked head coach.
ooooh the shade at the end tho
It's not okay to respond to words with violence.
Also, the video of the punch is f*cking hilarious
Are you blind?? He purposely put his hands on Blount while yelling offensive language. He got what he deserved.
@Darrow Au Andromedus spoken in true racist internet tough guy fashion 😂 brave on the internet and scared to death in real life haha "Typical"

Bruhhhh I literally remember seeing this when I was 7
The way he said punch was weird remember my opinion I still live this UA-camr
What people who don’t play football don’t understand is that it’s soul crushing for you to have the worst game possible and then be taunted by the guy you were going against. People say that Blounts actions were unsportsmanlike but 94s actions triggered the whole thing. The 2 clips after Blounts interview are things just getting chippy, I think people who play outside the box (receivers, safetys and corners) don’t understand that’s an every day thing even in practice.
Nut nut nut nut 🥜
I'm a graduate of Boise State and a lifetime Broncos fan. While the punch was shocking, remember that Boise State was at that time the most feared non-power conference team, and it was basically lose-lose for a power team to play Boise. Beat Boise and you get little credit because Boise was not a power team. Lose to Boise and you are known as the power team who lost to a non power team. The issue here is that Hout decided to gloat, and Blount, who was understandably frustrated by his team's loss reacted as many young men would have and threw a single punch. College football fans make a big deal about this because first, Boise has long positioned itself as the victim of an unfair system, particularly in the BCS era, and many football fans were sympathetic to that fact. Second, this incident was blown out of proportion because a black man punched a white man. If not for the racially motivated desire to villainize Blount, who didn't do anything that countless of other young men in his position might have done, this would not have been nearly as big a deal. Since that day, Blount worked hard to earn his way back onto the team, and he indeed does have a reputation as a far more mature man following the lessons learned that day. Don't accuse Blount of being any more than he was in this position, which was simply a frustrated young man.
YOU HIT 500K
Although it did land flush on the jaw, it was by far the most awkward-looking sucker punch I've ever seen LMFAO!
as a Pats fan, I had no clue about this. LG was great for the Pats but this is disappointing for me. glad he was with them though. he is a beast. I'm sure he's moved past this. good video.
I live in Boise and we're all still salty about his punch
Devon Long I can imagine. Flat out sucked punched the guy.
Stay salty, bud. Hout gave Blount the opportunity he was looking for. BSU had already won the game, so what does Hout gain by running over to guy with a short fuse to rub it in. Hout is basically an insecure dumbass.
Read Houts lips.... He called him the n word. No justification for that!
"How's that for an ass whoopin" is what he said. Maybe you should try reading his lips? The Oregon player who started the rumor that Hout had used a racist slur, Jamere Holland, was kicked off Oregon for being a racist. Hardly the best source.
Devon Long same bro

What’s the old saying ? “You can take the kid out of the hood but you can’t take the hood out of the kid !
Boise state is that one school you would never think would make it, they are like a 90s football movie and to beat top tier teams with witty plays and some ref interference is a outstanding for their program even tho they will never be consistent
2 super bowl rings a few million dollars and the cleanest punch in football history. I’d say Blount got the better of everything.
