On my to-do list in a month. I installed the original Clopay 20 years ago and now replacing with Ideal because it was the only readily available one I could find. Mine is a basement door that is only 78" high and 96 wide. I'm going back and forth on reusing the low clearance tracks. The Clopay is tearing in the middle because someone tried opening with the opener when it was locked. Wasn't immediately noticeable but has gotten worse. The only Ideal option was uninsulated so that's an added expense. The Clopay has the old school springs on the sides of the track. I'm not sure if this one will come with the same or the torsion style. Headroom is tight so I'd be ok with the old style. Thanks for a little preview of what's going to be in the box.
After more digging I found where Ideal is related to Clopay. I'm not sure what the relationship is exactly. Ideal may just be a name assigned to Menards who knows. I'm not shocked. Hopefully it's a simple swap for me.
Ahh! "Low headroom" is what we're talking about. NOOOWWWW I understand what you're getting at. Thanks for making my brain work hard trying to figure out what "low-profile garage door" means.
my door came with a 11 foot track I'm installing a 9 foot door. Do the track come in one size. Am i suppose to cut it I call Menards the don't know so they email Ideal Door they wont answer until Monday because there closed on the week end
I have the 9' door which is what is in the video. For mine, the single track section is 94" and goes along the wall. The double-track section is about 11' and goes on the ceiling as it is a low profile door. The top track (mounts to the ceiling) will always be longer by usually about 2' then what the height of the door really is.

FYI, Ideal Door is a Clopay brand.

Instructions are very vague do you have any pictures of the flag bracket and all the brackets that are by the pulley
Very helpful now for the next video how to put a garage door opener on it
Sounds like a plan.

lol. I think you need the Go Pro Fusion for your next camera. records in 360 degrees
Is the bottom of the horizontal track lower than the door opening height?
It’s about 2” above the door opening for bottom track
