Make your own Benchtop jointer DIY Ver.1

Recently a got a full trailer load of scrap wood. However, because the wood is very rough. It needs to be planed. To make this process more easy, I made this Benchtop jointer. In this video you can see how I use scrap plates of wood from a broken down closet to make an easy but handy planer.

I noticed that the in feed table doesn't raise and lower to match the height of the front shoe of the planer. Does that not seem to matter?

Not really, if you take of more than 2mm at 1 time, it is more difficult to maintain a flat surface. Sow mostly I only take 1,5mm of per passage. Does this answer your question?
