It is refreshing to see a humble surfer with a healthy ego and a great sense of humor. When I see some of the most talented and skilled extreme sport enthusiasts come to Hawaii, and discover how obnoxious, selfish and inconsiderate they are it is so disappointing to me. When they come to Hawaii and chew up and spit out the local spirit with little respect for the aina or it's people it is heartbreaking. You really seem to have respect and appreciation for who you are, where you live and what you do.

Man, I'm so psyched to hear him giving props to Gerry Lopez. My favorite surfer of all time. One of the best moments of my life, Gerry asking me: "What's it really like? Dropping into a big set wave at Maverick's?" I thought: "I can't believe it, Gerry Lopez asked me something." But he's that humble and cool. I'm a nobody. Just a guy who liked big waves till I got hurt. I still love big waves, but 8ft. N. Baja is big for me now, after my injuries. J.O.B., Koa, Nate Florence, Eli Olsen, these guys make me wish I was born later. You guys rule. Thanks for making an old feral who escaped- happy watching your videos. Stay safe. Props to N. Best Surfing vlog on YT no question, quite possibly the best vlog on YT. The quality of the filming and editing is top tier and having a pro like Jamie talk about something he's so damn good at is great. Good on ya all who make these (mostly Jamie and Jackson).

The filming and editing of the first day was some of the best I've seen. Really captured what it would be like being out there, guys paddling over the crests , their 100lbs balls like anchors scraping the reef below them, drone shots, I mean everything was on point, and made my palms sweat. The rest of the video was on point too.
the line Jamie takes on those waves is amazing, everyone else would stall at the bottom and get blown up, but he just leans in and goes mach in an instant. awesome vlog. every wave could be entered in wave of the winter.
I love the way you guys throw respect on each other in your separate vlogs, man to be this cool and laid back with your competition, surfing as its meant to be.

thanks for talking about the boards that you choose and why you choose the boards that you do because it helps to learn what size boards to ride out there in Hawaii when I come visit the island as a regular thank you so much for what you do because there's no other content on the internet showcasing Hawaii the way that you do and no magazine that I've ever read my whole life about the aisle showcases what video can Showcase in the old school videos from the Legends the videos are so old I really can't get a feel for what it's like but the Drone shots and all the in the water shots makes me feel like I'm there and mentally prepares me to get ready for the dream I surfing the North Shore in the near future and thank you so much

So I feel the need to suggest getting a new surf helmet design sponsor so we can help keep the psych counter clicking for you and others. I have had my share of head and other injuries during surfing. I always need a sunvisor when the sun shines off the water. Love the float wetsuit.
