As someone who played Raving Rabbids on the Wii years ago, but was always intrigued by that Rayman 4 trailer, this scratches an itch I never knew I had. Incredible work.
It feels like a very worthy wait after almost 2 decades of hoping Rayman 4 will finally escape out of the development hell void

Absolutely breathtaking, from the depictions of the RRR GBA story to the sheer amount of progress in such a short time, one of my childhood hopes are becoming real and I owe it all to all of you, my heart is in this and I’m invested through every single step no matter how big or small 💜

That aside, I cannot fathom just how incredible this is! After roughly a whole year after the Rayman 4 prototype build became found media, this laid the groundwork for fan developers to rebuild where Ubisoft left out! Reburrowed is the crown jewel of Rayman fan games, and I'm so happy it's making it's way into the limelight! Maybe sometime in the near future, we might get a glimpse into the original RRR minigames in Reburrowed, but I imagine them being more like quests/side quests than just vanilla shovelware.
To be honest, it's not their fault for turning bad. Reminds me of how Mustache Girl turned bad thanks to the Mafias. The Rabbids have every right to do this.
After nearly nearly 2 decades, we're finally getting closer and closer to the Rayman 4 we all waited. After years of research, speculation and discoveries, we're now at the endgame of all it. Thank you so much for all of your work!
I was expecting some new features but this is above my expectations, I feel like I'm watching a trailer from another timeline, it's super credible you are doing a fantastic job, congratulations!
A lot of people never liked the addition of the Rabbids to the Rayman series so I would imagine among those people particularly that this game will be a dream come true. But especially for Rayman fans in general.
How do you know that a lot of people never like the addition of rabbids? Do you have any proof?
@@assassin8636 I’ve seen a bunch of polls where people voice their dislike for the Rabbids. There were plenty who either liked them or were indifferent to them, though.
Honestly I thought they were an annoying concept much like the minions from Despicable Me. But I since then have done a complete 180 on that mindset since the Mario & Rabbid games. The Rabbids weirdly fit into Mario’s world oddly well? It’s bizarre but I thought those games were pretty good, and with the Rabbids of all things. I think it’s because they tone the Rabbids down a bit and don’t do the whole Bwaaaaah! thing as much
We're coming full circle. We see Rayman make amends with the Rabbids in Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope, and now we're getting a recreation of a cancelled game that would've been a different origin of their rivalry (I mean from a meta perspective).
In the first Rabbids game ever released, the Rabbids had the same origin story and guess which game came first: Rayman Raving Rabbids GBA with the same backstory.

I remember when we saw the first ever trailer of Rayman Raving Rabbids, it was originally called Rayman 4: the raving Rabbids and it looked like it was gonna be some kinda Zombie apocalypse parody

Kinda makes me feel sorry for the rabbids. Bullied to the point of hiding themselves underground and now back to get their revenge on their tormentors.
From what I’ve heard, in the original version of Rayman 4/Raving Rabbids, Mr Dark (the antagonist from the first Rayman game) was going to return as the game’s main villain and the one who motivated The Rabbids to take revenge on the world. Are you bringing back that element by any chance? Just curious is all.
I think only André was said to return as the bad guy, but would take a role Bowser took in SoH as the bad guy of the team good who fights because he wants revenge against the bad guys.
Also Michel, creator of both Rabbids and Rayman. said that the Rabbids started planning their invasion ever since the first Rayman game, meaning Mr.Dark is not going to be responsible for this unless he bullied them too.

Im seeing a bunch of Rayman fan projects popping up left and right and I gotta ask what happened to him. Did he go public domain or something? Did Ubisoft have a stroke and did something good for their OG by opening the IP up to fans to make content for? Im not comaing Im happy to see Rayman back, but its all so sudden that I have to ask why now.

Not just the Teensies, but many other species in the Glade of Dreams did that, if not all of them. No wonder the Rabbids went raving mad, I would also be angry at them and scream with Red Eyes "BWAAAAAAH" while beating them with a Plunger!!!

Recently I got into the Rayman and Rabbids franchise, playing the 1, 2, 3 and the rabbids party games, seeing just how uncaring Ubisoft has become to the Rayman (and certain companies towards 3d platformers in general), it’s now up to the fans to bring Rayman back into the limelight, I wish you guys all the luck ya need to make this happen, since I myself and a team are working on fangame for sonic as well! Long live Rayman and 3d platformers!!
I loved playing the Wii version at my friend's house, and didn't end up getting the DS version because it was just a lame platformer. I only found out years later that was the opposite of what everyone else wanted.
Now *this* is the Rayman 4 that everybody wanted all those years ago! …Wait, it's fan-made?! No company accepts fan games, especially Nintendo! Nintendo always removes those from existence! 😭
