Colin Morgan as a old man Colin Morgan wearing nail polish Colin Morgan doing more than 2 types of accents Colin Morgan a sourcer What more can we possibly want?
Can Jethro just be The Doctor's next Companion already? Even if he wasn't THE Colin Morgan and all, he did prove useful during well over the course of the episode.
I know this is a late response, but if you recall. Jethro does end up trying to help the others throw The Doctor out and he also couldn't work out that Sky still wasn't "clean" when she stole The Doctor's voice. I love Jethro, but he did make some wrong decisions
@@Evanthenerd12345 yeah but he was basically having a panic attack in that moment freaking out and crying. Also his Dad was practically screaming at him to do it. The reason I'd love him as a companion is because he seemed excited at the thought of something being out there, he could have lots of fun with the doctor
@@eviebradney2068 I definitely see your point there. And he was clearly at the beginning rather inquisitive, questioning Professor Hobb's (I think that's his name😄)presentation about Midnight. I'd say my least favourite character though would be Mrs Cane, all it took was one line for me "I said it was her". Who's yours?
I fancied Jethro before I knew about Merlin but didnt know who the actor of Jethro was. Then I watched Merlin. Then rewatched doctor who and realised OMG ITS MERLINNN.
It's funny you should say that, because this is the first epsisode EVER that I saw, and it had me well intrigued so that I went back to the very first Eccleston Episode and watched my way through it in no time - can't wait for the 50th now! Became a true whovian thanks to this - thanks to Colin, who kinda brought me hre.^^
"Rather good actor called Mr. Pillow. Um, white pillow with lots of fluffy bits." My new favorite character: Mr. Pillow. Quite the introduction; I did not expect that twist x)
I know that this is a very late response, but even though I love Jethro I don't think it would work. Jethro attempted to help the others throw The Doctor out, and I don't think that The Doctor would be willing to have him as a companion after that
7:36 - shows, in my opinion, just what a skill acting is. Its easy to think, when watching the show, when you have camera footage, which has been framed right, cut in the right perspective, with good cinemotrogaphy, and the benefit of special effects and editing, and a compelling film score, all in one long feature of an episode....its easy to think "yeah I could put myself in that situation and act" but thats the final product. To watch it being produced, in a set, with cameras and microphones all around, and no sound effects or special effect yet, after goodness knows how many takes, to keep in character when you are just saying lines, is a very stark contrast from how the episode is shown. To get into character and act, even when you are "manhandling" a pillow instead of an actual person, enunciating the words as though the script were reality and not just reading them off, that is hard. Added difficulty for this episode where the actors had to repeat each other and make it sync up best they could.
Same here. I watched this episode years back before I even heard of Merlin and I was like crushing hardcore on the actor. I didn’t even realize he was Merlin when I finally sat down and watched Merlin this month for the first time. Now I was rewatching doctor who episodes and I saw Colin and I nearly flew out of my seat cause I REMEMBERED.
Excellent episode, these one-off horrors are what Doctor Who's all about. They allow people who aren't massive fans to dip in and out of the program on various Saturday nights to enjoy a story. Current series writers take note!
Did you guys know the professor in the story (who explained Mister Fluffy Pillow) was the real life son of the 2nd Doctor? And yes Anthony Head narrated all the Confidential Episodes at that time.
this is the first episode of doctor who i wached and it was only because of colin morgan. so, now i' ve wached the rest of the series, i can still say that it is one of my favourites, cause none of the others has colin in it!!!
there's supposed to be a behind the scenes vid of him talking about how much he hated the black nail polish, but for the life of me, I can't find it. any ideas?
This is great and all, but does anybody know if there are a full version of this DW Confidential? I can't seem to find it anywhere, and I really liked this episode and wanted to know more about it.
@msmorganwheeler You mean literally talk? I wouldn't know, everywhere I go to talk about Colin is actually, well, typing about Colin. LiveJournal is a good place for that. Sorry to be of no help here...
"It's not tall enough, because David is all legs and arms" never could have describe him better.

Sorcerer
Colin Morgan being a shy cinnamon roll
Merlin still waiting for Arthur 27th century descuised as an emo teen...... in the middle of nowhere
First episode of Doctor Who I've ever seen and still not over the black nail polish

i really would love for colin to be the doctors next companion, it would be a change and jethro seem so intelligent and willing to travel with him

COLIN MORGAN
This so definitely one of my favorite episodes of doctor who
Colin looks kinda cute dressed as a teenager

Did you guys know the professor in the story (who explained Mister Fluffy Pillow) was the real life son of the 2nd Doctor? And yes Anthony Head narrated all the Confidential Episodes at that time.
wow!
WHAT?!
Amazing! And I was looking for this comment because I kept wondering, is that Anthony Head? King Uther himself? What a coincidence!

Ahahahaha, I loughed so hard at that running/falling from the right to the left and back again thingy... xD
Holy hell! I didn't notice that during the episode at 16:43, Rose is up there on the screen. Cool behind the scenes though.!!

@MikaaKarlsson ok Thanx
Ok, David Tennant and Colin Morgan make it awesome, but why the hell do they have to have Anthony Head as the narrator?!
Well is it wrong to have anthony as the narrator??
