@@josedaniellozano6678 if you want to play cod I’d say you would probably want to get the to 2 tier steam decks since the base model only has 64gb and cod itself without anything else is more than that so I recommended getting the other systems also because eMMc storage only gets up to 400mb a second compared to the faster name that can get 2,500mbs a second a lot of people compare the screens, and think better resolution and bigger screen is better not exactly in a handheld device because it drains the batter the battery on this device is good but with using full resolution and high textures in games it’s not going to last more than an hour. But with a lower 720 resolution it’s much better for battery life and much more of a portable device. I hope this helped with making a good a decision but also the steam valve deck is not out so It could be different then everyone’s initial thoughts of the device.

Funny enough, the Deck is being sold at a loss. That's why they aren't as expensive. Valve is doing the console strategy of selling hardware at a loss and making profit on software sales.
Besides the screen, the Deck is better than this, internally. For a fraction of the price.

BUT, I would take a 720p version with 240hz and photo editing color accuracy over this screen.
It's not a real LAN party unless
1. At least one person has nowhere to set up, probably because he brought a Server Rack instead of a gaming box
2. Someone is bootlegging software or loading hacks, and tries to play it off. Especially when he's crashing the host.
3. At least two people can't figure out why they can't connect. And one of them is the guy with the bootlegged soft.

If Valve is honest about hardware specs, easily the Deck. Easily. It's going to legitimize handheld PC gaming in the industry.
They all have advantages and disadvantages. But all of them are worth owning. OneXPlayer/Aya Neo/GPD if you want to immediately & effectively install and use windows apps and programs that you use on your desktop on the road as those are true window Windows PCs and go for the Deck if you just want to play the steam games you own on the road. I use my OXP for a lot more than just playing games.
@@breakfastplan4518 The Steam Deck is also just a pc with pc hardware. It only comes preinstalled with SteamOS which you can easily replace (or dual boot) with Windows.
@@Teddy_Bear312 Yeah, but it doesnt come with a windows license or the OS. And my gaming library that i would like to have go portable is windows. Also, the steam decks APU is unique to the steamdeck so it not even sure if windows can take control of it. For the time being, dedicated windows handhelds are my thing.

Why? This is great for people with game libraries outside of Steam. GOG, Epic, Ubisoft, etc. I would argue that if it wasn't for the price, this is the better option.

@@Ridku13 The APU has something called "RDNA." I don't know exactly what it is, but it helps power the graphics of the Xbox Series X & PS5. I'm assuming it'll have RTX graphics.

@@DABUNGINATOR It will have RDNA Which is the architecture that both the series x and the ps5 use which the steam deck will also be using i don't imagine ray tracing will be good by default but it may support the newly released AMD FSR which is essentially DLSS on AMDS side, so maybe with FSR you might get ray tracing but i wouldn't count on it :) hope this helped

The cable has to be on the top, so you can play with the consol in a table while charging and actually use the stand

As far as functionality and portability I prefer to have the GPD. Between the Win 3 or 4 you cant go wrong. Its what I was looking for and I'm very happy with the WIN 3 so far. Just make sure yours comes with a good carrying case to protect your investment. They also have screen protecting glass available to add that extra layer of security.

If the charging port was on the bottom, playing using the stand wouldn't be possible (the keyboard wouldn't be usable also when charging too).
This is actually a good thing, that the charging port is on the top. One of the problems with plugging it from the bottom is that you wouldn't be able to have it standing on the table and charging at the same time. This is actually a problem with Switch.
Or if you're laying down and playing so you don't have the cable poking you

GPD Win 3 still my go-to handheld. Can't wait to step it up to this or one of Ayas options though. For now the win 3 does everything I need. If you have less than perfect vision I'd recommend just going for a bigger device but with good eyes the win 3 does fine even in shooters.
I just got the Win3 yesterday, I set it up like a PS3 cause that‘s all I play on there :D how do you feel about the Win4?
@@zoyboy1914 would love one just because it's so much more refined along with some extra features. I'm iffy about the psvita form factor I liked the win 3 form a lot at least as far as looks go. Still, I would definitely want one but may end up going with one of the other options whenever I do upgrade. Like one of Ayas options or Onexplayers since they have similarly specced models and they'll have been out longer so I imagine used ones will be a little cheaper. Also they don't look to bad either. Really want to keep the keyboard. It's a tough choice to make! Cheers!

cheapest one is "only" $300 more than the est. price of the switch, if you crack your games then you spend about the same amount as for a switch pro and a couple AAA games.

@@AaronShenghao the performance is basically exactly the same as both Aya Neo and Win 3. The 1185G7 doesn't get you any better performance in gaming than the 1165G7 or even really the 1135G7, both of which basically trade blow for blow with the 4500U. The only thing this has better than those is a larger screen, higher resolution, and an extra cooling fan. Comes at quite the cost though.
3:09 I mean I get what you're saying if you're referring to adding another USB-C, but if there was only one charging port, and it was on the bottom, you wouldn't be able to charge the machine while having it standing up with the included stand that you mentioned earlier.

It's upwards of $800 USD on Indiegogo... the Switch Pro is more or less $399 at conservative guesstimate. They basically tried to cram a "gaming" laptop into that handheld - and you probably want to get the laptop instead because parts-wise, it's almost similar. Might as well get a gaming laptop before that thing melts when the overworked fan decides to give up the ghost - unless you *REALLY* want to burn cash like it's going out of style.
