I love that this gentleman states he dislikes waiting lists. It's nice to be flat out told no, no more orders, than to be dragged along and offered other pieces you do not want for "a chance" to land the watch you want. Take notes watch world. Keep it real with consumers, we will actually appreciate it.
Hello I wanted to mention to you that it would be VERY nice if you ALL would do a wrist check at some point in the videos so we can see what everyone is wearing. That is part of the fun of all this anyway. I would love to see what is on everyones wrist and I am sure I am not alone on this. Please consider making this part of every video you make. Thanks.
Thank you very much for your interest in A. Lange & Söhne. We forwarded your feedback to our creative team. Thank you very much for your support. Kind regards,
Such a class brand under great management, I just wish they would crack a smiley and bring something not completely conservative every once in a while. The Lumen was a breath of fresh air e.g.
Lange makes beautiful pieces. The finish and attention to detail is amazing. What’s missing in my opinion for the price-point, is the wow factor on the dial. They need to spend more time playing with the dial materials to make them less stoic, like they did with the Saxonia dark-blue gold flux boutique variant.
I like that Ben gives it to Wilheim the hard questions without being rude about it. We need people like Ben not being to pampering to these watch makers.
Very cool, definitely wish we could see a little more of the watches and really wish we could’ve heard that minute repeater! Great interview though and can’t wait for more.
Thank you very much for your interest in A. Lange & Söhne. Unfortunately the time-only variant of the CABARET is no longer part of our collection for several years. With some luck you can still find examples in auctions or the secondary market. Please let us know if you have any further questions. Kind regards,
Thank you very much for your interest in A. Lange & Söhne. The model that Ben Clymer mentions at that moment, is the Richard Lange “Pour le Mérite”, a truly special and very complicated, but at the same time understated masterpiece. The salient technical hallmark of the Richard Lange “Pour le Mérite” - and of all “Pour le Mérite” models since 1994 - is a fusée-and-chain transmission. Hmmm... If for him the ideal is that you do not even feel the watch (titanium being so light and the temperature assimilating to the skin temperature) then maybe best to not wear one at all... Me conservative enjoys that I feel wearing a watch, heavy steel already great, Platinum even better... But then again: de gustibus non est disputandum or variatio delectat... I love Lange watches and a Zeitwerk is coming... in the heaviest version ;-)
That's a lot of time and effort to make only 250 watches. There is so much hype here for a product nobody in the world can buy, i don't really understand why they do this.
He will never tell we have shortage of material and that's why either go cheap when obviously they can't because they will lose market ground or ohh let's make limit it with other material but gold or platinum when you look at the prices it crazy despite the craft and why not Mercedes and bmw they go cheap too
Great Brand I thought, looking at my Odysseus in WG with the rubber shows that the rubber seems to be a Cheapy, it shows signs of ‘blooming’ after time which you see on cheap rubber bands on cheap watches…For Lange the Odysseus with rubber is where the Case is made by SUG and the band maybe in China by looking at the quality. No reason for the limitations they are talking about in that vid…
Great interview, but as with the last video, please show us more of the watches.

I would love to see a conversation with Wilhelm Schmid and Archie Luxury.
Weren't we supposed to see more of the watches or is there something I am missing.

Well said. Agreed.

I know it is an interview but seeing the watches would be helpful 🤔
Would love to see more of the watches I will probably never see in person👍
I can't help it. Mr Schmid looks so much like a taller Daniel Craig. Very interesting and passionate man.
Very cool, definitely wish we could see a little more of the watches and really wish we could’ve heard that minute repeater! Great interview though and can’t wait for more.
Less is more ❤
Ben I can't believe you had the cheek to mention Rolex in that room, shame on you
Rolexes are the most ugly watches.
Ben Clymer is the most compelling personality in watches. Wei Koh is the only person that’s close.
Compelling in being both insufferable? Pretty spot on.
This is a joke, right?
@@valebliz have you seen Wei smoking a cigar in a A Lange video? What a d-bag 🤣
@@rm6700 no but I think i can manage without doing it lol
@@valebliz 🤣
Great conversation
That man really loves to talk... It's like they're trying hard to avoid showing the watches.
Great video as usual. But when it comes to ALS, is greater.
Great video, would love to see the watches though
The sound seems to be a bit off
Camera work needed its share of watch focus.
💥💥 good
Lol this is Jay Gatsby’s friend Wilhelm
11:07 Surely Mr Clymer has an allocation!? 😀
Awesome Video!
What a shot at Rolex on the comment about not wanting a perpetual waiting list
it would be nice to actually see the watch
Vielen Dank!
i would only suugest lange to little bit decrease the size of their watches.
I want to buy the Cabaret without the Tourbillon when will it be available on your boutiques ? Thanks.

Good day, thank you for helping, kind regards.
You are of course more than welcome.

awesome
What's going on with the audio?
What is the watch Ben mentiones at 15:55?
Thank you very much for your interest in A. Lange & Söhne.

To be a true connoisseur you just hold you limp hand like so when discussing the finer points about haute horology 😂🤡

So you can go to the boutique, try to spend 150-250K USD and then maybe u have a shot, but probably not enough lol.
ALS>Rollie fo sho

Should be seeing the watches as you's speak about them! Lost interest in this video half way through.
Why does this sound dubbed?
If only I had money to afford this
Every hoodwinkme video is a thinly veneered brand ad. Disappointing but not surprising
Lol😂
I think Lange has fallen as a brand, their pre-requisite to get some of their timepiece is so turn off. They used to be my favorite watch brand.

Wow Titanium is so light . The End.
