- Hey guys! Welcome back to What I Ate Wednesday. In this vlog, Jonathan & I went into London to record a Charity Christmas single (lol...no we are not singers but this was pretty cool to do!) and I started to feel pretty rotten once we got home. I caught the cold that Alessia brought back from school! :( Luckily as this was filmed last week, I am feeling much better now :) xoxo Anna

When you don't feel well - just stay home and don't spread it all around. It doesn't matter if it is covid or not.
Obviously they came to close to other people if they are passing the bug around.
It's amazing how much happier you seem these days. Such joy to watch you!

Did you get tested for Covid? Just because they do recommend that if you have any symptoms of a cough, sore throat, etc, that you get tested asap. And for the same reasons, you might be healthy enough to cope but someone might not who comes into contact with you.
The custodian at our school felt unwell, and was told not to get tested because he didn't have a cough. He kept coming to work, and then when the Principal told him to get tested he did, and he had Covid19 with no cough. Someone else at our work that worked near him ended up in the hospital, and is still very ill and not back at work.
@@LisainCalifornia that's a big problem in my country, too. Hubby and I both belong to the group of people with a high risk for covid 19.. It scares me, that doctors don't test enough people. Lucky we are able to be safe in home office.

Seeing online that people are just going out when they’re ill is disgusting. There’s no way to know it’s just a cold other than getting a test. Every single one of these people are so bloody selfish. If there’s any chance it is COVID they could be killing people with their actions. Imagine your actions are part of the reason someone has died.. I couldn’t. Anyway we don’t know if Anna did or didn’t get tested so I don’t want to say she is part of this group of awful people because the family don’t have to share if they have tests.
@@ColeyOley I'm sorry, but I totally agree. I have an elderly mother who is still able to go out but has heart issues. If someone got her ill and something bad happened to her because the person who wasn't feeling well didn't care to get tested, and did in fact have Covid, I would be infuriated.
Yeah there's no way to tell you have Covid unless you get tested. A lot of people have cold like symptoms or heck man no symptoms at all. To say "I know it's not covid" is ignorant.
Anna I was watching a What I Ate Wednesday from 2 years ago when Andrea was a newborn the other day. It was incredible to see the transformation in you with regards to your feelings about food comparing then to now. You now seem like a huge weight has been lifted off your shoulders. Well done on working so hard to get to this place, very inspiring x

We’re the exact same in our house with colds! My son has been going to school all throughout lockdown (special needs school) and been absolutely fine. My 2 year old has been at nursery for a week and she’s bought every illness home with her! It’s such a struggle with the kids (9,2,1 and newborn) and myself being ill all at the same time! Sending you positive vibes Anna that you’re all better soon. X

Here in Canada, you’re not supposed to go anywhere if you feel sick, unless it’s to go get tested. And they recommend getting tested even if you have any symptoms. But that’s not England, so you know better! Hope you’re feeling alright now when this is uploaded!

Anna you truly are absolutely STUNNING! I really adore you and so enjoy your videos. I was so surprised when they told you a theme last minute at that, and then nobody else was even dressed themed lol so odd! Haha But you two looked great! 👌🏽 LOL funny about Ovaltine is here in America we grew up drinking it as another form of chocolate milk! Anna, when I start to feel a little run down, but before I get sick, I take 2-3 zinc lozenges /day and a 500 mg chewable vitamin C. My immune system gets a boost from both the zinc and vit C and prevents any illness.

I am the biggest closet granny, (but then I am 53 so well into granny age 😂) my bra is undone while in the lift to my apartment, so virtually off as I put the key in the door!!!! 😂😂😂 as for Ovaltine... I ❤ it.. Let's make that bad boy trendy 👍👍😂😂

Just curious to know: what happens if you guys in the UK have a cold? We in Italy are invited to stay home and get tested for Covid. Kids as well.
It doesn't matter if it's Covid or not, no one wants a cold or to be sick, and those that go out when they are sick at all, spread it to others. Not nice to do.
At the independent school I teach at here in the US we call middle school or year three ‘intermediate years’ I feel like that flows better,too with Lower/Upper school.I love English muffins,they’re so funny because they’re nothing English about them they’re just a nice round toast-able bread haha.But when I can I do get crumpets for the novelty. I think in your last vlog you said you were feeling better,hope that is still the case.
My 10 year old sister started coming down with a cold last night. Not even two weeks into being back to school (she hasn't been back since lockdown) and she's already ill 🙄 just glad it's not covid
