Band Maid is: MIKU (mee-koo) Rhythm guitar and backing vocals. She is the band’s founder, writes the lyrics and the band’s main spokesperson. She is called “the little Pigeon”. What is amazing is their progress as a band didn't happen over night, they all worked hard to get where they are today. The band Founder Miku was the original Lead singer, but stepped aside for a stronger voice ( Saiki ), after never touching a guitar she learned how to play rhythm guitar to fill a role and now nearly 12 years later she is a great guitarist under the Lead Guitarist teaching ( Kanami ). Their later work is stepping it up even further than you seen so far.... Check out Hate? Live off their channel.
Best rock band out there. The maids have well over 100 songs in their catalogue, and every one of them is worth listening to. They are definitely best experienced live, but the official MV for Blooming (my favorite Band-Maid song) is worth checking out.

Very good at poker, really into horses and horse racing. Very clumsy, may fall into ditches. Has the energy of an average nuclear power station mixed with weapons grade cuteness. A comedian onstage - literally! She is the heart and soul of the band.

Was very shy in the early years and came across frosty in interviews because of that, hence the nickname - she has thawed out now though! The youngest member at 30. Into train spotting (really)! and collecting trainers (sports shoes). Very girly, is a fashion icon and ex model. Designs a lot of the bands merch. Really into Baseball and the Hanshin Tigers. Don't mess with her you will lose. But she has a heart of gold and a killer dry sense of humour. Recently started writing lyrics. Has final say on songs. Kanami Tono - "Kanamincho" but usually just "Mincho" for short. Lead guitar and an absolute genius songwriter. Total riff machine. Has two personas. Normally a tiny cute shy very polite lady who seems very innocent (the band have to explain dirty jokes to her). Until she puts on her guitar. As the band say: "then she gets quite violent" - she turns into the shredding rock star she is. Takes guitar off, back to the little girl. Likes cakes, coffee and is totally infatuated by Saiki. She adores Saiki very much, to everyone's amusement. Akane Hirose - "The Gorilla" on Drums. Seems to be the sane member of the band, but is actually the band clown. Has an enormous appetite, seen eating in a lot of MV's. Eats a lot of bananas including on stage, hence the nickname. But she is terrible at actual cooking. Usually has a big grin on her face while drumming manically, Akane was also a DJ (under the name DJ Achi) and likes dancing and goofing with MISA. She also plays trombone! MISA (all caps, no last name) "The Barefoot Assassin" on bass. An absolute bass prodigy, MISA is very shy onstage (and a total clown offstage with Akane). Nickname comes from the fact she plays barefoot and looks like an assassin. Because of shyness often drinks onstage, you can often spot a bottle of Jim Beam on her amp. She drinks it neat. Lately drinking more beer than whiskey though, good girl. Doesn't say much, but when she does it's usually totally hilarious! At a lot of concerts you will hear the fans chanting MISA! MISA! MISA! which has become a slogan.

Lion, this was the first video I saw of Band-Main and I think my mouth was open in shock for about 2 hours afterwards. They are: Saiki the main singer, Miku, rhythm guitar and back-up singer, Misa on bass ( you won’t see better), Akane on drums (ditto), and the fantastic Kanami on lead guitar, also the primary song writer. I would try ‘Hate?’ Live next, it will blow your socks off when you reach the duel between Misa and Kanami in the middle. Loved your reaction.
Thanks Lion, but there are others who deserve a shout out more than me. I’m a relative newcomer compared to some of these guys. I wouldn’t even know about Band-Maid except for some of these. I only heard about them from lamenting the end of Rush on a reaction and several commenters told me they had moved on to Band-Maid. I gave a derisory laugh. I’m not laughing now!

Yup, pigeonhole. The band's founder, originator of "the Gap" between the maid costumes shaping people's initial assumptions of them based on appearance and their sound, primary lyricist, rhythm guitarist (who didn't know how to play when the group started), original lead singer who stepped away to backing vocals in favor of bringing in a more powerful vocalist for lead. (Taking a deep breath after all of that) Is an 810 year old small pigeon who constantly throws Japanese "Po", which is essentially equivalent to "Coo" in English around while in her band persona. It's all based off of puns around her name and such, and is why you get so many Maidiacs making pigeon and Po! references.

Honkai ... There's an unofficial live version from their 'Spin Off' concert ... MISA & Akane do an intro to it that is completely out of this world! Best I've heard from them, and yes. I understand that seems impossible ... But Band-Maid being Band-Maid always does what should be impossible.
Looks like you are getting sucked into the Pigeon Hole, don't resist it, PO! :) Great reaction once again. A couple of other live videos you may like are Moratorium (Live at Zepp Tokyo) and Play (Official Live Video) both are incredibly fun, big crowed energy and highly recommended.
All of Band-Maids songs are good ! If you want another live performance check out "Play" Official Live ! It's the song they played at this concert right before Domination ! If you want another MV check out "From Now On" it's a little heavier but the bass solo is so smooth =) Thanks
I will go with Gary’s recommendation :) or maybe one of the other 120+ songs! Maybe Warning after that, then From Now On (MV), Choose Me, Puzzle (official live), Shambles (MV), Freedom (official live)….you could really pick at random from their back catalogue, plus acoustic versions and concerts….so much to discover here!

I only heard about them from lamenting the end of Rush on a reaction and several commenters told me they had moved on to Band-Maid. I gave a derisory laugh. I’m not laughing now!

The band's founder, originator of "the Gap" between the maid costumes shaping people's initial assumptions of them based on appearance and their sound, primary lyricist, rhythm guitarist (who didn't know how to play when the group started), original lead singer who stepped away to backing vocals in favor of bringing in a more powerful vocalist for lead. (Taking a deep breath after all of that) Is an 810 year old small pigeon who constantly throws Japanese "Po", which is essentially equivalent to "Coo" in English around while in her band persona. It's all based off of puns around her name and such, and is why you get so many Maidiacs making pigeon and Po! references.

Honkai ... There's an unofficial live version from their 'Spin Off' concert ... MISA & Akane do an intro to it that is completely out of this world! Best I've heard from them, and yes. I understand that seems impossible ... But Band-Maid being Band-Maid always does what should be impossible.

Great reaction once again. A couple of other live videos you may like are Moratorium (Live at Zepp Tokyo) and Play (Official Live Video) both are incredibly fun, big crowed energy and highly recommended.
