thanks for coming out! It was a great time!
Jordan boostmaster hello!
@Theodore Connolly yes!
I noticed you didn't have the camera going.....it's nice to just ride sometimes. Keep killing it bro.
DUDE! your bars are SUPER wide and seem like a lot of rise. What are they and what are the specs??? Thanks! Peace!
It's hard NOT to have confidence when you're following the Boostmaster!
Once you're familiar with Seventh Secret you can shred it preety darned fast! One of my all time favourite trails in the shore. Sick!
I’d love to get some more laps in on that one!
Love love love Expresso. So many great features mixed with great flow. It's a perfect representation of what a good, modern North Shore trail can be.
So this video is a tutorial for everyone complaining about GoPro effect. Just put a Insta360 on top of your helmet and everything looks steeeeeeeeps AF!
That was awesome! It's still haunting me, it'll be haunting me for a long time...
Great to see you riding the shore Ryan, looking forward to Cypress video. The Espresso trail is what it says I find I little harsh but it wakes you up like the coffee.
It’s very inspiring watching northshore rides. I live on the ”wrong” side of the sea, so I’ll probebly won’t go there. But it gives me ideas for my own builds. Thanks for a great film!
Man I can't wait to check out the shore next year.
There is truly nothing like it. And while you're there, don't sleep on Squamish. The Diamond head area is rad.
Just tried my first double black diamond steep technical trail and failed miserably, I fell a good 6-8 times and struggled to stop that back tire flipping above my head and watching you makes me miss the simple flow trails that’s more fun than scary. Keep up the good content
Two of the best fun flow trails up there!
Just moved to van from Calgary and these north shore vids are getting me stoked to head out
Cinematography = A+
the insta 360 looks really good on those slower tech trails. luv it.
Great video! Really envy you for those woods you have over there!
Here in Denmark, it's waaay more flat. Great riding!
The editing and storytelling on this channel have went from great to incredible this past year.
Shout-out to Ryan and Beth for a always delivering the stoke!
Thanks Alex!

Love your video quality and I have to say...watching you over the last few years....your riding skills have really improved A LOT. I think now you are ready for round two of the "UA-camr MTB race" you all did a year or two ago...the one where you did not finish. Good for you man!!!!!
Respect dude. Rode it confidently and perfect first time. I think I saw you guys on Fromme that day, didn’t recognize the Boostmaster without his roach pads though... been awesome biking weather out here lately.
Feels great when you nail a feature/trail that you can't conceive doing. Well done 🤘
On the wait list for a Ripley AF, time for a new bike after 20 years and thought I would step away from Specialized and try Ibis
Those trails are awesome. Hope to get up there someday.
Really cool looking trails today! Big Ole Thumbs Up for my favorite mtb channel!
Nice job conquering the fear and sending it!
My old stomping grounds. I'd try to hit Fromme a few times a week before work. Awesome network of trails. You killed it too!
Amazing video and you nailed it! Good work!
This was a nice way to start my birthday! Thanks man!
Happy birthday!
Dude! Thanks for inspiring us to get out there and ride features in our local parks! Awesome stuff! 🤙🏼
I don’t even mountain bike nor have I ever been! But watching these videos are so interesting and satisfying for some reason!
Find a cheap bike and go for a spin! It's addicting and great for the heart and brain
Quality is A1...Especially that B roll...really sets the mood lol
I’m no hero, it’s just hilarious that Jordan is GONE within the first 50’ of the trail every time you stop. He’s smoke me easily too, but that trail is SICK and I hope to get there one day 🤙🏻keep shredding ry
Looking at buying that bike, can you do a review? It would be SUPER helpful
Perfect attempt! We all want to know what tyres you were using! Edit: just checked as I thought I saw a glimpse earlier. Wild AM2 2.4. 1:10
Yep I was beyond impressed with the grip they had. Can't wait for them to be widely available!
Mate, you nailed that! Well concurred my friend!
Awesome video. Two questions, how do the wild AM2 compare to the wild enduros? Also I have a Ripmo V1 and would like a shorter travel bike for local trails in southern Alberta. Would it be worth the money to go with a Ripley AF or just stick with my Ripmo and hardtail. Would love to know your opinion. Oh any chance I got to try out the tires you were studding? Guessing it would be a full year project for me to get some done in time for next winter lol.
So for me personally, I just might prefer the AM2 over the Wild Enduros, which is saying a lot. I love how the cornering lugs are similar to the DH22’s (the best cornering tire of all time, IMO) and I *think* the AM2 has better grip on wet rocks and roots over the Wild Enduros, but I’ll need more time on them to be sure. Having said all this, it’s pretty close and they’re all incredible tires.
I’m still working on those studded tires. It’s time consuming!
Awesome ride & footage🤘🏼💯🔥🔥🔥👊🏼☮️
Hi Ryan, wicked edit again. Could you tell me how the Michelin Wild AM2 compare with the Wild Enduro?. I currently run Wild Enduro front and rear but was looking to go Wild AM2 and Wild Force. Love the channel 😍
Great tutorial video, hopefully we are over there in 2022. If we can escape covid England. 😖
very cool 🥰 satisfying to see someone pull it off perfectly
The whole push yourself vibe is what keeps me coming back to this channel
Great video as always! How does it work? do you get the top of the mountain and then all the way down? How do you go on top? Thanks
The very first gravity trail I rode in my life was Seventh Secret after telling my buddy I wanted to try "downhill". That was one hell of a mistake 🤣Didn't ride again for about 3 years.
Fast forward to now, I own an enduro bike, I ride almost every weekend during the non- winter months (I'm in Montreal, so winter is for the most part unridable), and I've ridden A-Line and Dirt Merchant!
Moral of the story: DO NOT DO WHAT I DID. Take your time and progress at your own rate!
Nice vid! Welcome to the neighborhood!
North shore never lets you relax, feature after feature 🤘
Absolutely. It’s full-on!
Dude you nailed it 🤘
There's no place like Fromme. That 7th to Expresso used to be my regular rip, 3 days a week. I miss North Van. :(
When you tell people you live in Canada and mountain bike they think you live in bc.
And then you show them the biggest hill you ride in Saskatchewan, and they're confused as to why you have rear suspension on your bike
Love the new AF Ibis. And the videos. But kinda noisy the suspension? Or it’s just me? Your other bikes don’t sound like that...
Good use of the insta 360 it produced good footage. A lot of people use it in place of a GoPro and it doesn’t work but you used it very well, good job.
Nice work!! Such awesome trails
The slowed voices was hilarious! Sweet lines dude!
Thanks 😂 I laughed way to hard when I accidentally slowed down the full clip, so I had to leave it in.
Great video Ryan! 😀🙌 This also, made me think that maybe you don't really need to have an enduro bike to be able ride trails such as in this video. If Ryan can ride them using his Ripley then a trail bike that has a 150/150 front and rear suspension should be more than capabale to tackle it. Just my two cents. 😊
You stomped The Gangler! The Gangler has been Gangled! HUCK YEAH! YEEHEEWWW!!! :D \m/
Rode that trail a day before BCBR. I was freaking out thinking BCBR was going to be that gnarly. The higher up Fromme you go...the nastier it gets.
As someone who can't complete Pinocchio's Furniture in Lost Lake, i doff my hat to you sir
If that's not a true advertising for the rear tyre, i don't know what is
Man I had a knot in my stomach watching you go over the gangler.
You nailed that feature. And those skinny's. And the editing. It all fell off a cliff tho, with 0 minutes of Beth in this one. Lol
@Ryan - with Canada opening up to me Sep 2021 (coming from Germany), how do you recommend breaking up 7 days between North Shore and Whistler (have been to Whistler, not North Shore) and what to ride when on North Shore few days ?
I feel like if you can get the 360 camera behind your helmet and above a few inches it would put the entire rider in frame and show the steeps really well. I don't have one so I can't test it though...
Nice work on that feature! Hahah. Made it look smooth as!
The insta 360 looks funny on top of the helmet 🤣 do you use it often while ridding? I'm considering getting it...
It's the Teletubby look 😂 Ya it's kinda goofy looking, for sure. For me it's the best setup for showing steepness though, so it's worth the funny looks haha. I only use it when I know there will be some steep sections I want to properly show.
@@TheLoamRanger intresting. I guess that perspective showing the rider in the terrain shows the steepness better 👍totally worth it hahah
Getting into recording with a GoPro. Watched your videos on davinci. Very helpful. Should I d/l version 16 resolve or 17? What do you use? I am a total newb and want easy
They all function the same, really. I'd go with 17. Have fun making some vids!
Seths reaction lol!
2:42 4:43
Some of most Canadian “oh yaaa” I’ve ever heard
Nice! What camera setting did you run on the GoPro?
Cleaned that so smooth man!
Must be nerve racking just having that 360 sticking up like that. That's a vulnerable spot.
Cypress Mountain, not Mt Cypress. But it's all good, looking forward to seeing your vid from Cypress.
What is up with those new Wild/Force AM 2 tires, why are they 50% heavier than the old ones? Steel carcass?
The thing that keeps me coming back to these videos is the completely relatable little noises you make while riding. Surprise, fun, doubt, I feel it all with you.
Hey man just a question. How tall are you and what usual bike size you use? Thanks!
The insta 360 helmet cam gave the perfect perspective for all those features
7th secret into espresso is my favorite run on fromme
Those were some good hints from Jordan haha
What trails did you ride on the way down after 7th Secret?
dude, this video is amazing, but I really want to know what the song at 10:20 is. It's so chill and feels like home to me. I'd love it if you could let me know.
Thanks! Ya I like that one too. It's called "Downcaller" by Valante. You can find it on Epidemic Sound. share.epidemicsound.com/BFMDC Cheers!
class, keep it going
The gangler is always a great time 🤙
Wild Am2 review coming soon?
I feel like this was a couple weeks ago. I was just there yesterday feb 27. ❄️ ❄️ ❄️
Anyone know the name of the Yt channel with the guy that rides north Shore on a hardtail?
What settings do you use on your Insta360 cam?
Yeesh isright!!
Is it just me or does insta 360 look a whole let better than the go pro ?
What is it about with your watch atached to your cockpit?
Ah yes The Gangler....I ride right past it. 🐔🤣
Should have shown Phil’s try as well!
Neck Brace. Fox ProFrame. Knee. Elbow Pads. Body sized air bag......
What's is the frame size of Jordan's bike?
Upload more!!!!!!!
What did you ride down after 7th?
Great video, what the red thing on the left of you bars
That's my watch that I also use as my bike computer.
You guys are doing it all wrong, gotta send the climb trail!
Wow that's a fast ride & rocks & trees & going over roots / good job
Jordan better post a video about this ride
I didn't film it actually
@@JordanBoostmaster wow I did not expect you to respond 😳
No way I would have done that!
Just realized I can run this at 2150p
Time stamp for the rock thing idk 8:14
my collarbone hurts
1:25 please, never do that again 😭
