This is one of the fights that is significantly easier in co op since one person can take the guardian playing distraction and the other one focuses on doing damage to the main boss while also calling out the big blast. At least that's how my friend and I did it.
I actually beat this boss in 2 tries with high ranged damage and the huntsman rifle. Damage was high enough that when he flew over my head the first time I was able to shoot his weak spot and kill him very quickly.
Stone breaker still holds a special place among most the melee weapons. With the right set up you can tank any boss on apocalypse except some flying ones. Venom being one.
Note doing this boss you can shoot the arms the golem sends out to attack you strongly advance taking them out to have a breath window of a dps phase without any danger also strongly helps to use the first ability on the Envader archetype it can save you if your about to get caught on the deathbeam from the actual boss
As long as you defeat the big guy before he revives the golem, you are still good for the stonebreaker! If you have a crazy burst damage build with weakspot up the wazoo you can get him while he's still on his way over to the golem.

This with the turret class is easy by yourself. The rail cannon drops the guard quick but you have to have the guardian down at the same time he’s reviving him to get the saw gun. The guard can’t be standing when you kill the boss
My friend got the sword the first time we played and when I fought the corruptor I didn’t get the sword and we were really confused until he looked it up

You know, the funny thing is wasn't our intention but we killed the corrupted without taking out The Guardian. We were just kind of saving him for after. Because of the damn annoying glass
@@WereUlv ya im sure cuz i got my stonebreaker that way anyway, i just accidently kill the golem then i got panic and throw everythings i have into corruptor face trying to kill it before it revive the golem and got my sword haha xD
Stonebreaker's charged attack sends a shockwave along the ground and deals a lot of damage. It was immensely helpful for me on N'erud with all the creepy crawlies. The Arbalest is nifty because the disc bounces, hitting multiple enemies, and its Mod power detonates the build-up of energy. It's a single shot weapon, so it pairs really well with Mutators like Slayer and Top Heavy. Both are actually very good, but I give Stonebreaker a bit more credit because it's not as dependent on your builds.

Hmm i had comments that said if the guardian is down when you kill the corruptor you will get the Stonebreaker, but i don't know for sure if it's working. The way i know is what i say in the video. Focus on the corruptor and leave the guardian.

Yes bro it's the Twisted but not the Corrupted version just the regular. I just put the Corrupted in the video because i wanted to saw that it also have a corrupted version.
