Sparkfire can have "easy" acess to 3 elements at once (Fire/Bleed/---) with base weapon dealing fire, puting a mod for anything minus bleed, and using the Twisting Wounds mutator to proc Bleed on weakspot and crits so it's understandable it's a S tier weapon especially for Ritualist
Same for the cresent bow. The mod makes it so it has no charge time and with mods / mutators you hit double arrows for almost 10k a hit. The heal is just a nice secondary effect to it. But if we're just talking out of the box i can see wht people would believe it. Same with alpha omega. Garbage out of the box but the only explosion weapon that doesn't murder your team.
Definitely agree although I haven't used it since the beginning of the game before it got nerfed, Nightfall is always a reliable option regardless of where you are in the game. I don't use Bows outside of Remnant 1's that shot the javelin but Genesis is hella good and I'm surprised to see Sparkfire up there in S tier. I'm a lover of Coach Gun and Sporebloom, happy to see they have some love in the list.
im just happy to see coach gun on atleast A tier i knew someone will appreciate how good this gun is and its the starter gun of invader pair with the service pistol i beat this game hardcore veteran hardcore nightmare from scratch lvl 1 using invader i never got tired of using coach gun and service pistol theyre just feel so good to use but after i got the genesis bow i let the coachgun sit.
I have a soft spot for the widowmaker from my first build I really got into in RFTA. But I’m early in the game so maybe it won’t shine as much as it did in the previous game.
Interesting take on Crescent Moon. Yeah, the mod heals you, but more importantly, it does double damage (hits with two arrows, to be more precise) when you perfect fire it. That's the real use of the mod. It sucks that Gunfire nerfed it a while back to where it only hits double when you perfect fire, but it's still doable with the right mutators and practice.
Yeah it would have been higher but with the genesis being in the game being a clear better option for dps the crescent moon loses its value for me making its only unique feature the healing considering at base the genesis shoots more arrows. I like the different perspectives tho

Beyond that it’s a tier list…it’s opinion and preference so trying to battle it with straight logic is also void of reason. Like cmon dog, it’s a tier list and that’s where I put it. Feel free to make your own tier list video, people will tell you that you are wrong as well
@dylanc5773 it’s not higher dps then genesis, I’m sure in very specific builds it’s possible to outperform but in 90% of builds the genesis will reign supreme

I love remnant and it’s guns especially finding a weapon that may or may not be good and figuring out how to build around it or where to integrate it. Just playing the best guns isn’t always fun. Recently I’ve got hooked on the corrupted saviour and that’s a gun i haven’t seen used in many builds but maybe I’m just in love with it because it was basically my fav in Remnant from the Ashes
@ I wouldn’t quite put it in S-Tier. Power wise for sure but the ammo drawback is a quite bad so I pretty much exclusively run it with refunder, as I don’t like the infinite ammo amulet, even tho some nice crit mutator would be very good on it. Also the mod decreasing so fast makes it worse when you are also using sidearms and not exclusively the Saviour, so it has to be complemented with passive mod buildup. S-Tier for me are weapons without drawback like the monarch the lower dmg there is easily complemented by not missing a single shot. But yes even with those drawbacks it slaps and is probably the coolest weapon design wise.
@@kranolive as for non meta fun weapons has to be trinity crossbow and star killer for me rn just fun to play especially Starkiller with its mod. I don’t see the downside of the black hole sucking in teammates if anything that’s a benefit. 3 guys with starkiller is pure chaos. Gotta love that

HOWEVER, I really REALLY wanna praise the actual TIERS here because he describes them exactly right and as they should be (hell honestly just grouping f with D would also be equally accurate). They are both really good, plasma cutter will do good with any range build. Spark fire needs to be built into a bit more to truly feel good but definitely great weapons to have if you just started
@@kranolive Yeah as soon as i started i looked up all the classes and wanted warden so i made a b-line for it. Then i figured out if i just start as that i get its gear so i started with the cutter. The second class i liked the idea of was ritualist so i went out of my way to get the shotgun just in case i wanted to switch over some day.
I respectfully disagree, I have an updated tier list coming out soon for the new buffs and I believe I put widowmaker and crossbow both at C. Pre buff there was just no shot widowmaker was C tier for me. Now they are both basically equals
@ i use all of the single shot long rifles and I’ll say the tier list for those ,I mostly agree with. If you can get enough speed the royal hunting bow, it can charge and reload faster than the crossbow can reload. The S tier is what you’d expect. Thanks for not disrespecting the coach gun too.
I have a lot of love for the coach gun, one of my favorites and pretty nasty for tons of builds. I agree with the point of the royal hunting bow because I love that bow as well but to build it faster then the crossbow you leave out damage rings. So you can make it just as fast with rings and such but at the same time with the crossbow you could just smack on all damage rings and have the same speed. Overall tho I agree with points your making

im assuming he just hasn't found the right build for it. my main build is with the crescent and out of ~30 gauntlets with that thing i've been out dps'd by teammates like 5 times or less

I doubt he hasn't found a good build for it because he's been making builds for a while - and I think it's a fair point that the mod could have given different utility instead of healing (but I do kinda like the healing if I take any chip damage haha)

It'd help a lot if you ran the same/a couple similar bosses with the weapons so that you SHOW your point of critiques because people who don't know if they're just watching the numbers being put out they will dismiss quite a few of your placements off hand and could dismiss the video outright because of the inconsistency in that. Plus it just spices up your video and separates it from "every other" ya know?

That’s fair, I’m new to editing videos so they already take me a long time as is. This one took me hours more then I’d like to admit so I went the simpler route with the gameplay instead of adding hours to my already long journey of making this video lol. I also wanted to push this video out sooner then other creators larger then me so it wouldn’t be overshadowed. I agree tho, using the weapons in boss fights would be a better representation 🤝
I love the alpha/omega, I really do, but so far in my experience it's only good on survival man. TwT I love to use support builds or biulds that help me generate a lot of skill power, so I'm not about to switch builds, and I like to switch difficulties when I'm ready so-- this gun just isn't out there man. xD

And about the crescent moon I build it around damage and life steal, my build isn't a tank one, but I can survive dealing a lot of damage and healing with each shot if I get hit once, i does work and it's pretty fun. Anyway, it's fun to see others' opinions but I couldn't agree less with many points, apparently you don't like single shot guns.
I made an updated tier list and the widowmaker is C now after its buff. I’ll always agree to disagree because a lot of personal preference comes into play. Also most people that are proven in the remnant space (sheenshots and others) also believe the crescent moon is okay and good at best. It’s all opinions at the end of the day and I appreciate you being cool about it. Also I love one shot weapons (it was my go to build in the first game, I just feel like with all the options in remnant 2 they get a bit overshadowed in damage and even enjoyment. Just my take but I do love them, a lot of weapons in the low tiers I actually really enjoy using I just can’t put them higher then the other options

I can’t really agree with corrupted saviour it is one of my favourite weapons for sure but ammo problems and mod drain makes one rely on skills and either infinite ammo amulet or refunder which take away from its dmg still solid but kinda cumbersome
i am pretty sure only 4 bosses are immune to bleed .. lydusa, earthen colosium, astropath,cinderclad as far as i have seen they are the only ones immune to bleed .. thats 4 out of 34 bosses.... i don't see that as a lot by any means
Bleed is the majority of merciless’ damage if built into correctly. Bosses aren’t immune to explosions or ranged damage. When a boss is immune to the entire majority of a weapons damage that really sinks a weapons usability. Let alone 4 bosses, and when you’re running boss rush like a majority of players are rn you are bound to run into 1 or more of these bosses numerous times. So it does effect the overall usability of the weapon and 100% takes down the weapons viability to be an S tier weapon. Again it’s all my opinion and you are free to disagree but that is where I put it
Also to add to that point is using merciless for the entirety of the second dlc will feel miserable. An entire DLC renders a weapon basically useless (yes you can use it still I’m aware) but an entire dlc playthrough basically telling you to not run the weapon just doesn’t sit right with me.

I’m assuming the monarch comment is due to the one video I posted which fair enough lol. Monorail as I said is absolutely S tier…when it’s performing, it becomes useless or very hard to use when there are small weak spots or none at all. It can still do some damage but it really needs weak spot to shine which my S tier is basically reserved for things that are obviously strong but also just always work as intended. Similar situation with the merciless, it’s an easy S tier if there weren’t bosses immune to bleed

@kranolive Dw haha. Widowmaker does indeed suck in many situations. It just has a special place in my heart because it is so satisfying to kill enemies from afar in wide open zones with it. Builds that use it are not that great though, its upsides don't apply to boss fights, and ammo is often a problem.
Starting out with alpha omega is a wild choice. I use a helix/alpha omega build in boss rushes and I’m always like a million damage over anyone else. I’ll have to upload the build, because alpha omega, with a mod spam build, is ridiculous.
Every gun in the game can be made really strong. Using your personal experience as your argument doesn’t mean a whole lot. Also straight dps isn’t the point, versatility with builds, consistency, power floors and ceilings. A lot goes into and in my opinion it is one of the least versatile weapons in the game with the lowest power floor as well combining to make it an absolutely unquestionable F tier for me
Have you tried Savior Harmonizer, Starshot Feedback, Reaction Chain, and Stone of Malevolence? DeathWish and Chaos Gate as per the usual. The burn damage amulet is better for leaning into DOT damage (RROD + Timekeepers) but I haven’t run into it in my 100 hours of playtime.
I use zero divide with basically all Of my ranged builds. That doesn’t take away from that being a downside when you are trying to run a different build that requires a different amulet like a misty step build if you ran a shotgun would be terrible

I think it’s one of the meta ranged weapons as I put it in S tier but I agree, using non meta stuff and making it work makes the game fun and fresh

My main issue with the plasma cutter is the limited range.

I am newish to the game but currently have and use two of the S guns. Plasma cutter and sparkfire.

If you play enough you’ll be switching classes multiple times a day just to try different builds. Definitely solid starting points tho

That’s fair, I’m new to editing videos so they already take me a long time as is. This one took me hours more then I’d like to admit so I went the simpler route with the gameplay instead of adding hours to my already long journey of making this video lol. I also wanted to push this video out sooner then other creators larger then me so it wouldn’t be overshadowed. I agree tho, using the weapons in boss fights would be a better representation 🤝
I love the alpha/omega, I really do, but so far in my experience it's only good on survival man. TwT I love to use support builds or biulds that help me generate a lot of skill power, so I'm not about to switch builds, and I like to switch difficulties when I'm ready so-- this gun just isn't out there man. xD
Dude, no hate fr. But you said that the Widow Maker has low damage, what? Ok it's your tier list but dude, how? lol and you said that the crossbow is better than the widow maker dude I can't understand you. And about the crescent moon I build it around damage and life steal, my build isn't a tank one, but I can survive dealing a lot of damage and healing with each shot if I get hit once, i does work and it's pretty fun. Anyway, it's fun to see others' opinions but I couldn't agree less with many points, apparently you don't like single shot guns.
I made an updated tier list and the widowmaker is C now after its buff. I’ll always agree to disagree because a lot of personal preference comes into play. Also most people that are proven in the remnant space (sheenshots and others) also believe the crescent moon is okay and good at best. It’s all opinions at the end of the day and I appreciate you being cool about it. Also I love one shot weapons (it was my go to build in the first game, I just feel like with all the options in remnant 2 they get a bit overshadowed in damage and even enjoyment. Just my take but I do love them, a lot of weapons in the low tiers I actually really enjoy using I just can’t put them higher then the other options
@@kranolive I don't think that crescent moon is the best weapon in the game or something like this, it's my favorite bow and I described how I made it work with my build because you said it that you could not make it work with anything. And like you said, we agree to disagree and ours play style are probably very different and that's cool. Anyway it was a great video, don't agree with the ranking of the one shot guns and bows but it is nice to see others people opinion about this game.
I can’t really agree with corrupted saviour it is one of my favourite weapons for sure but ammo problems and mod drain makes one rely on skills and either infinite ammo amulet or refunder which take away from its dmg still solid but kinda cumbersome
i am pretty sure only 4 bosses are immune to bleed .. lydusa, earthen colosium, astropath,cinderclad as far as i have seen they are the only ones immune to bleed .. thats 4 out of 34 bosses.... i don't see that as a lot by any means
Bleed is the majority of merciless’ damage if built into correctly. Bosses aren’t immune to explosions or ranged damage. When a boss is immune to the entire majority of a weapons damage that really sinks a weapons usability. Let alone 4 bosses, and when you’re running boss rush like a majority of players are rn you are bound to run into 1 or more of these bosses numerous times. So it does effect the overall usability of the weapon and 100% takes down the weapons viability to be an S tier weapon. Again it’s all my opinion and you are free to disagree but that is where I put it
Also to add to that point is using merciless for the entirety of the second dlc will feel miserable. An entire DLC renders a weapon basically useless (yes you can use it still I’m aware) but an entire dlc playthrough basically telling you to not run the weapon just doesn’t sit right with me.
Thorn its my favorite weapon but i cant do a build whit that weapon :c

I’m assuming the monarch comment is due to the one video I posted which fair enough lol. Monorail as I said is absolutely S tier…when it’s performing, it becomes useless or very hard to use when there are small weak spots or none at all. It can still do some damage but it really needs weak spot to shine which my S tier is basically reserved for things that are obviously strong but also just always work as intended. Similar situation with the merciless, it’s an easy S tier if there weren’t bosses immune to bleed

@kranolive Dw haha. Widowmaker does indeed suck in many situations. It just has a special place in my heart because it is so satisfying to kill enemies from afar in wide open zones with it. Builds that use it are not that great though, its upsides don't apply to boss fights, and ammo is often a problem.

Starting out with alpha omega is a wild choice. I use a helix/alpha omega build in boss rushes and I’m always like a million damage over anyone else. I’ll have to upload the build, because alpha omega, with a mod spam build, is ridiculous.
Every gun in the game can be made really strong. Using your personal experience as your argument doesn’t mean a whole lot. Also straight dps isn’t the point, versatility with builds, consistency, power floors and ceilings. A lot goes into and in my opinion it is one of the least versatile weapons in the game with the lowest power floor as well combining to make it an absolutely unquestionable F tier for me

Tried it out on stream today, definitely good dmg for dungeon clearing but find it awfully too awkward in boss fights still
Have you tried Savior Harmonizer, Starshot Feedback, Reaction Chain, and Stone of Malevolence? DeathWish and Chaos Gate as per the usual. The burn damage amulet is better for leaning into DOT damage (RROD + Timekeepers) but I haven’t run into it in my 100 hours of playtime.
The repulsor mod is useful on multiplayer if an ally is in danger
Use zero divide with some of these so they get infinite reserve ammo

Of my ranged builds. That doesn’t take away from that being a downside when you are trying to run a different build that requires a different amulet like a misty step build if you ran a shotgun would be terrible

Of course he doesn't use a ring he just showing the base damage and the mod damage if it have one.

Because it's base damage so information everyone can use without having to account for 100s of different setups across the playerbase
It’s just showing the guns in a raw showcase, the tier lists is going off all attributes including full builds tho
