Hannah m. Same, it made me feel so happy. 💙 People so rarely do that, and it sucks because then we have to struggle to find ways to get a similar look.
I'm still amazed at how randomly and messy you first apply everything and with just some blending it looks so perfect.... at first I'm like 'oh dear god that's a lot of blush, you're gonna look like a clown'...1 min later...perfect. I love you and your amazing talent. Lots of love from Belgium
Great tips. You make perfect look so simple. Going to try this tomorrow. I especially like the idea of applying foundation after the contour and highlights. Makes sense and you don't use as much product. Perfect for every day look.
This technique has unbelievably pulled my whole look together. Most other makeup tutorials use powder products and apply a contour, blush, and highlight after applying foundation and concealer. I absolutely adore you! Thank you so much for this tutorial. Amazing!
Just found your channel, and soooo happily I did. I love that you show the products on yourself. And also tell the secrets we "older" women need to know. Thank you so much. You have become my go to guy for makeup!!
This is when your skin really looked it's best. I can tell you have been packing on more makeup in your vids. Not that it looks bad, but you were always about natural looking skin. It's 2016 and people are going crazy with the contour highlight thing. If they actually look back at themselves before doing all that to their faces, they had a more youthful look verses what they look like now. In my opinion it makes people look much older. It may be the trend right now but they will look back at themselves in 20 years and ask "what was I thinking?" You watch and see...
True! But he can't do same kind of videos all the time. He has to show off everything ha can do with makeup. I also don't like contouring, and always skip the foundation part of tutorials, just move to the eye part. And I don't like blush ons, that are too visible. Not a fan of hollowed out face looks.
I must admit that I was dubious at first, thought I couldn't pull this off, but tried it today and am loving it! I used ELF tinted moisturizer, contouring kit, stipple brush - never thought I would be using that- and shimmer palette to great results. Thank you for making everything so easy!
That is absolutely amazing!! I love it how you don't use a model and apply to your own face. It makes it easier to understand what I should be doing when I try your tips!
Loved the video as always love watching you wayne. But i felt in a way this would work for those who have no problems with their skin from start. People who have no scars spots pigmentation redness. Your skin has improved alot and i dont think you need the makeup just my personal view.
+Anna Konchevska use green based primer ,then apply a light foundation, nothing too heavy and use just one coat all over your face to even out the skin tone .. then go with the full coverage concealer on the acne scars and everything that shows through your foundation and set everything in place with some loose powder .. spray your face with some setting spray if you like .. and there you go .. your skin will look its best ! but don;t forget to apply sunscreen if your foundation does not have one .
Hi Wayne! I love your honesty in your videos. I have a problem and I hope you can help me. I have eczema on my eyelids and around my ears, which causes redness and lots of flaking of the skin. I would like to try to cover it up with makeup, but am unsure how to do so safely and properly. I am VERY fair skinned, blonde haired, blue eyed, and freckled. I prefer my skin to look NATURAL. Finally, I use Urban Decay's Naked Skin Foundation. Can you please give me some advice? Thank you. Tracy from Canada
Tracy Lynn Shaw I used to suffer from the same a few years ago, my Aunt who also suffered treated it with just a small amount of Argan Oil and Rose Hip Seed Oil, just a drop rubbed in overnight and sometimes the same under an unperfumed eye primer to form a barrier. it worked for me. if not go and see it doctor, u probably can't have topical treatment but a small dose steroid may help. Hope you get/have got it sorted, u have my empathy........ xx
I have been watching your videos for a while now and, personally, this is my favorite. It's the most beautiful result I've seen, a Mary Greenwell effect without the messiness and the heavy layer of makeup her techniques left on my skin. Love it.
I cant believe that from all the tutorials I've watched, which none have really worked for me, a tutorial made by a guy was the one that saved me!! THANKS SO MUCH
+impubicz I use this technique very often, i just put on concealer under my eyes and set it with a very finely milled powder! covers my dark circles very nicely, but not so much that it looks unnatural. hope this helped :)
I can't wear blush at all, I find that putting it in the traditional placement just connects it to the rosacea on the lower part of my cheeks. I often put extra concealer there instead and just hope for the best, lol
My boyfriend has massive pores and therefore get pimples constantly, especially in his stubble. How can I help him without making him use a million different products?
you can save your money by mixing together egg whites and honey and beating it until it is frothy and having him apply a layer of the mixture to his face. The honey has antioxidant and healing properties while the egg white offers brightening and tightening to the skin.
Shane Nunes No offense but That will not work. I am speaking from experience. You can simply get a small bottle of glycolic or TCA acid from amazon and mix it with say salicylic acid put it on your spots and you will see instant results. Egg whites are good to eat and yes honey it great but nothing works as well as what i listed; plus it's not expensive
haha, this has actually been the foundation routine i've switched to recently. i love how you always have a bit of advice for women of color, your knowledge is all around! love watching you as always!
It works like he shows but because its aimed to look like skin, but a bit better, it doesn't really cover acne. So this will only look like that on someone without blemishes. I usually go over my spots and scars with a tiny amount of concealer after.
Carolina A. hey, yes I tried it when I was suffering with a lot of acne and scars. After the moisturizer and primer I used to use a full coverage concealer and then follow up with bronzer, blush, highlight and the buff it in with foundation. this way my actual skin showed through as well and I didn't have to worry about my imperfections showing through since I already had them covered up! I have absolutely clear skin now and use this technique without concealer. Do give it a try, don't let acne or scars stop you from experimenting
No offense, but I feel like this would show a lot. It looks really mild on camera but honestly I feel like this would still seem like a lot of makeup in person and wouldn't look that natural :/
***** because it looks difrent on woman than on man.he is great makeup artist it would be easyer to work on a model and would look more natural for me...my opinion
Hi Wayne, absolutely love your makeup videos, they have inspired me to wear makeup which i avoided because it would end up looking cakey. But your techniques have encouraged me to embrace my physical attributes and enhance my natural beauty without focusing on changing anything. Please continue uploading the videos and thank you so much for sharing your skills with the rest of us.
Your tutorials are amazing because they're all about ENHANCING natural beauty! So different than all other tutorials that are all about transforming the face! I love your videos and your message to all people that you don't need gallons of makeup to look beautiful. Keep up the amazing work! :)
i love how you transition your makeup in your tutorials, sometimes i cringe when i see people dot it everywhere and think theres no way thats going to look great but you achieve it everytime lol great stuff
I am so glad to see this; with all these other "no makeup" tutorials, I can still see the makeup all over their faces! I will need a lot of practice with this one.
I have never been able to use foundation properly.. Before this!! You have really saved my day with this!! My skin looks so flawless and doesn't feel like I have a ton of makeup on!! Worked perfectly with maybelline fit me!!
This technique is so awesome! I wonder why I never thought about applying my makeup like that. Now I need to find a good and reasonably priced cream bronzer!
Just wanna tell you that I saw 1000's of make up artists on youtube, some very famous here some not so much... But none of them gave me so much tipps and tricks that looks so professional and easy as you did! Just love your work and I'm quite sure you're quite a loveble person too! Hope one day I'll have the honor to have my make up done by you!!! Lots of Brazilian/German kisses :*
Absolutely loved this video. I'm 39 and a beginner so it was great for me. Thank you so much Wayne. You are and inspiration. Love it, love it, love it!
Love the idea of having a very natural makeup that can still cover specific areas while being well blended to not be so detectable as "Oh there is a blemish underneath that".
Hi Wayne, thank you for your very informative tutorials. This was one of my favorites! I feel like you really stay true to your intention of debunking makeup myths and giving your audience the tools and tips they need to bring out their most natural beauty. Thank you again and happy new year!
Hi Wayne! Could you please post a video on applying foundation to your neck? My neck is white-white-white, my face is light-medium but with redness - so the neck always ends up looking odd :) Your videos are amazing, I'm learning so much!
omg so beautiful! i love the way you include tips for everyone like people with a deeper skin tone and tips for men. i love this tutorial its really great going to pair this with a classic red lip and maybe a bronzy eye!
It may sound strange but if you can get your hands on a very dark brown pigment, you can add some of that into your liquid foundation and it will not only make it darker but it will give you more coverage as well :)
Wayne, please comment on how to address dark circles and the occasional blemish into this routine. This was truly great but unfortunately I looked perfectly luminous and lightly contoured...but a bit sleepy bc of my eye discolouration. I guess I'm asking for the "invisible flawless makeup... for the flawed". Thx for this-subscribed.
I love how you always include tips for women of color
Hannah m. Same, it made me feel so happy. 💙 People so rarely do that, and it sucks because then we have to struggle to find ways to get a similar look.

Wayne’s techniques are timeless!!!
This technique has unbelievably pulled my whole look together. Most other makeup tutorials use powder products and apply a contour, blush, and highlight after applying foundation and concealer. I absolutely adore you! Thank you so much for this tutorial. Amazing!
This hands down the best and simplest way of doing a day to day make up. Love it
i thought u were joking at the beginning but once u blend in everything, ur skin look amazingly flawless!
Salute to you and lots of respect. ..you may have no idea how many lives you have touched...pls keep posting more videos
Just found your channel, and soooo happily I did. I love that you show the products on yourself. And also tell the secrets we "older" women need to know. Thank you so much. You have become my go to guy for makeup!!
I have been watching Wayne for years and he comes across as such a warm n honest person. I am a big fan
This is when your skin really looked it's best. I can tell you have been packing on more makeup in your vids. Not that it looks bad, but you were always about natural looking skin. true
True, I see 13 years old with like a super done face and they look over 20 🙀, 🤕
OMG who the fuck cares
it's 2018 and I can already see that the trend for full face of heavy makeup is going away
True! But he can't do same kind of videos all the time. He has to show off everything ha can do with makeup.
I also don't like contouring, and always skip the foundation part of tutorials, just move to the eye part. And I don't like blush ons, that are too visible. Not a fan of hollowed out face looks.
This guy is amazing I love him. I'm going to try this because I have a habit of caking it on and I like looking natural.
Do you even own pores?
I must admit that I was dubious at first, thought I couldn't pull this off, but tried it today and am loving it! I used ELF tinted moisturizer, contouring kit, stipple brush - never thought I would be using that- and shimmer palette to great results. Thank you for making everything so easy!

Just did this look.. and my skin is not near as good as yours but it still looks great!! Thank you so much for posting. You're a genius.
Wow! Your makeup tutorial are better than others I really love your videos.
can u do this tutorial on a dark skin woman so we can see? :-)
YES YES YES !
You are the ultimate makeup god. Love, love, love your work!
Perfect! So natural and gorgeous!
Loved the video as always love watching you wayne. But i felt in a way this would work for those who have no problems with their skin from start. People who have no scars spots pigmentation redness. Your skin has improved alot and i dont think you need the makeup just my personal view.
Seconded this view.
Didn`t really work for me as I have very bad skin with acne scars and few pimples :(
+Anna Konchevska use green based primer ,then apply a light foundation, nothing too heavy and use just one coat all over your face to even out the skin tone .. then go with the full coverage concealer on the acne scars and everything that shows through your foundation and set everything in place with some loose powder .. spray your face with some setting spray if you like .. and there you go .. your skin will look its best ! but don;t forget to apply sunscreen if your foundation does not have one .
Ur skin looks perfect! I'm jealous!!
You already got a flawless skin ! Envy you !
Omg! I couldn't believe how beautiful your skin looked like after your tutorial. This is such a great informative video, Bravo!
Hi Wayne! I love your honesty in your videos.
I have a problem and I hope you can help me. I have eczema on my eyelids and around my ears, which causes redness and lots of flaking of the skin. wow. amazing. I think I might finally start to use make up. :) :O I am sold
You are now my favorite youtuber for makeup advice. Thanks!!!
I have been watching your videos for a while now and, personally, this is my favorite. It's the most beautiful result I've seen, a Mary Greenwell effect without the messiness and the heavy layer of makeup her techniques left on my skin. Love it.
There is something so genuine and warm about you. I love every single one of your tutorials & videos. ❤️❤️❤️
question: can you use powder for bronzer and blush and then liquid foundation on top?
He is amazing! Love this guy. wow!
You are right, I'm sorry. Rather rude of me. Love your videos.
Wayne, this look is stunning as are you! thank you for being here!
I cant believe that from all the tutorials I've watched, which none have really worked for me, a tutorial made by a guy was the one that saved me!! THANKS SO MUCH
We love you
I was about to buy your brush set but then I saw the price... I'll just suck up to my boyfriend so he can get it for me 😂
Hi, can we achieve this look if need to conceal dark circle?
+impubicz I use this technique very often, i just put on concealer under my eyes and set it with a very finely milled powder! covers my dark circles very nicely, but not so much that it looks unnatural. hope this helped :)
That is amazing. It is the reverse of how i do my makeup but now I really want to try doing it this way. Thank you so much!
Wow you're extremely good! I had no idea you could do this and look so fabulous!
Love it!!
You already have flawless skin dude. -_-
Does it work with people with rosacea on the cheeks and a little of acne? T.T
I can't wear blush at all, I find that putting it in the traditional placement just connects it to the rosacea on the lower part of my cheeks. I often put extra concealer there instead and just hope for the best, lol
+M Kidd yeah is like , using blush makes the attention go back to the problematic area :/
My boyfriend has massive pores and therefore get pimples constantly, especially in his stubble. How can I help him without making him use a million different products?
get him a chemical peel
thanks!
you can save your money by mixing together egg whites and honey and beating it until it is frothy and having him apply a layer of the mixture to his face. The honey has antioxidant and healing properties while the egg white offers brightening and tightening to the skin.

How is it humanly possible for one person to be so talented?! Amazing tutorial, this worked great when I tried it!
I want wayne to do my makeup so bad
Have any of you tried this with acne/blemishing/scars? If you have, please, please share! I want to know if this work for you ^^
It works like he shows but because its aimed to look like skin, but a bit better, it doesn't really cover acne. So this will only look like that on someone without blemishes. I usually go over my spots and scars with a tiny amount of concealer after.

Wayne, did this today and it looked so incredibly natural. Loved it! Thank you!
Thank you! You have the best tutorials and most informative videos. :)
I am so glad to see this; with all these other "no makeup" tutorials, I can still see the makeup all over their faces! I will need a lot of practice with this one.
I never would have thought to do my bronzer, blush, and highlighter BEFORE my foundation, but this is genius!
best makeup artist i've watched so far, you're like my makeup teacher
I have never been able to use foundation properly.. Before this!! You have really saved my day with this!! My skin looks so flawless and doesn't feel like I have a ton of makeup on!! Worked perfectly with maybelline fit me!!

I've been doing it all backwards, putting the contour and blush on after my foundation. Thanks for the tips!
OMG! this really works! My husband keeps telling me not to wear make up, but I love it, when I tried this,he was like "thats nice"! Thank You:)
what kind of sorcery is this ? You look so flawless. Definitely going to try this.
Wayne,
I just wanted to say how much of an inspiration you are to me. I have learned so much from you. Thanks xo
