Glad to be apart of such a historic run. Never in my life have I been to this many playoff games. The run had everything! And to top it all off a Hatty and OT game winner for the cup?! I’ll never experience anything like it. A moment I’ll share in history with 11,012 others aside from myself. 🎉 let the celebration begin Bears nation!!
Man, I definitely need to check out the AHL playoffs next year. Such incredible playoff hockey even in the minor leagues, including two spectacular FInals finishes in a row. (That said, while it is exciting as a Kraken fan seeing their feeder team have so much success out of the gate, it does sting seeing the Firebirds lose back-to-back Calder Cup Finals in the ways that they have.)
Everyone knows this is Hershey’s 13th Calder Cup Championship, but they also played in and lost 12 other Calder Cup finals. That’s 25 appearances in the championship finals out of 85 seasons, almost 30%. That’s an incredible stat. To be a part of the league championship series 30% of the time in the entire history of the Calder Cup is mind blowing.
As someone who lives near Coachella Valley, it was pretty sad to see the firebirds get "put out" in back to back years, in OT, both home and away. Needless to say, I congratulate Hershey on a sweet double and getting a baker's dozen of Calders. 🍫🍫
Based on the highlights here, this felt more like a cup final game than Stanley Cup final that was on last night around the same time! Looked like a great game!
Wow…. 13 Calder Cups Congratulations Hershey on such a historic Run. It was amazing to witness as a fan of the Sport of Hockey. What a Game. This is why Hockey is the best Pure Team Sport
My buddy and I were talking hockey the other day, and something occurred to me - the Bears are kind of like the Green Bay Packers of the AHL in that they have played for a long, long time in a small town, but have a very solid and dedicated fan base. True, the community does not technically own the team, but if you are a hockey fan in the 717, you know... it might as well.
Congrats to the Bears. Two in a row and thirteen total. Amazing. As aCAPS/Bears fan not sure if I'm happy to see Sheppard, Iorio, LaPierre, Frank, Snively and Mcllrath move up to the CAPS or sad to see Sheppard, Iorio, LaPierre, Frank, Snively and Mcllrath leave the Bears. Go Bears Go, Roooaaaar.
@@Crankbaitkid22 No, but a few of them spent a lot of time with the Caps last year. So just some speculation. Though I did read somewhere that with the Kuemper trade that Shep may have a real shot at the back up goalie spot.
Gonna become a delusional birds fan. Next season🤞 props to the rookies for showing up. And for a 2 year team its not that bad. Still lots of work needs to be done
@@Aidan_minottii doubt it. firebirds are gonna lose so many key aspects of their teams success i think this was their chance. a decent chunk of their core will be gone plus their coach. but i do agree hershey will probably end up with the 3 peat
To win the last two series on OT goals is just pure magic. Incredible run by Hershey
thank you! just a place made of chocolate, that’s why❤️
That’s what hockey players dream about.

Awesome!!! Hershey Hockey when growing up in Vancouver was on the map in my childhood reading the Hockey News :)
What. A. Game. Absolutely electric atmosphere! B E A R S BEARS BEARS BEARS WOOOoooOOOooo!
A series this good could only be topped by a hat trick and over time winner! Go Bears!
Gezz twice in a row, good year for my firebirds. Good series Hershey. You guys deserve it
I know it’s gonna be a rematch next year again but let’s see who can do it this time

@JescaML which again shows just how great their organization is
Dubé... One of the best clutch palyer in the world
I was at the game. It was my first ever finals game and I broke down crying when they won
My wife and I were there also and then dude scored that OT game winner - MAN!!!!
People probably heard the roar as far away as Lancaster...

Gotta tip my hat to your squad, they didn't make it easy either time.
I have no doubt that y'all will get that Cup sooner rather than later.
What a crazy game. Incredible series too.

What? That was one of the most entertaining Stanley Cup finals games in a long time. Absurd take.

I can’t be the only one who gets goosebumps at every B-E-A-R-S
What an assist by the birds
Fr tho
Guess the Bears weren't that tired after all after the previous series.
Adrenaline is a hell of drug
Sweeter by the bakers dozen. Sniper by Matt Strome. He’ll have that over his brothers. It’s kind of cool to have both announcers calling the goals

Amazing
Congrats to the Bears.
The attendance for this game was a crowd of 11013
Let's go Firebirds!
Lets go Firebirds 🔥!
Oilers fans after losing game 7 Florida : ☹️
Firebirds fans after losing game 6 to Hershey: 😭 not again
What was attendance for this game?
I was there tonight, and it was the loudest I've ever heard that stadium. 11,013 and it set a new attendance record for a bears playoff game.
11,013
The Arena can only hold 10,500 so it was over capacity
Ew that is a rly horrific turnover by that Coachella Valley player in OT. Give him the assist on that one. Yikes!
Shore...brutal.
Dubé 🇫🇷
hard to watch as a firebirds fan.
Same bro
Y’all are a good team for your first 2 seasons ! ( bears fan
