Also, as someone else pointed out the funeral ceremony talked about here isn't the one in Halo 3.
Fun fact: If I remembered correctly, that "piece of metal" as you put it that was used as the memorial in Halo 3 is a broken wing of a Pelican transport. It is both an iconic part of the franchise and also symbolic for how much we have lost that this is all that remains to put this memorial together.

Correction to the ceremony, these interviews take place roughly 50 years after halo 3 so that ceremony they mentioned was not the same one from the game.
Thanks for the correction, since the location is in the similar looking hills to the end of Halo 3 we both assumed it was referring to that ceremony
@@x2zchat yeah I thought so when I first saw that part too but the dates are way off, it could be the same location though.
@@x2zchat The one at the end of Halo 3 was in Mombassa, and on the shoreline. You can see water not far from where the ceremony takes place. Nowhere near where this is.

You should after reach show Rob the real ending to Halo 3 and Reach where it ends with a heartwarming message from Bungie to transition him into the 343 era. Or not lol up to you guys but what I seen from your guys videos you are typically receptive to feedback so I figured I would throw my hat into the ring
