The Halo 3 Believe AD campaign was possibly the best bit of marketing iv seen for any game/movie. Even now watching it years later it gives me chills. Back when these were first released the hype was actually unbelievable, especially considering how well Halo 1 and 2 did and how Halo 2 ended. Trailers don't always have to be bold and loud to be good/promote hype.
Not many games/movies nowadays do trailers like these and that’s just unacceptable. This trailer alone made me play Halo 3 twice after watching it
And I must say, props to the actors(they made it felt so real; as if the war actually happened), the people behind-the-scenes(the production wouldn’t be as spectacular without them), the orchestra(the music brought this all together)and the creators of that amazing model of a battlefield in Halo(the level of detail is just the tip of the iceberg).
Thank you Bungie for giving us the trilogy of a lifetime :D

That’s what I miss about the old games. In 343’s games they wanted to write him like he is in the books and that just separates the player from the story. I don’t care about John the little boy who was abducted. All I care about is the Master Chief who will risk his life for humanity. Chief made me BELIEVE because I was him.

It’s a great piece of advertisement, especially with the older men acting like they had actually lived through the war.
Ahhhh when video games were made with passion and a soul. You could almost feel real life radiating from these fictional ideas.
Exactly unlike today, where its just tick boxes and woke garbage.
Someone recommend halo reach: deliver hope extended trailer! They would love it one of the best trailers ever if you don't believe me watch the extended version I cry everytime I watch it!
That's right, Masterchief was never to be seen again since the end of Halo 3 as he escaped with the Arbiter to another galaxy
Now they need to react to Halo 3 starry night in HD obviously and Halo Reach Deliver Hope extended

the music that the person who mashed all these commercials together put into it is way too loud to hear their voices. Especially 8:29, I preferred it when there was no music, it was way more impactful that way

What 343 doesnt get about Halo, is that beneath all the cool story and combat, Halo is fundamentally anti--war

I thought it was supposed to be Will-043
so the theory is that in reality it may have been Will-043 since Chief wasn't on the surface during that fight, but for hope reasons they decided to rename Will in that battle to be John instead, just to keep that image of Chief alive.
