Okey Grill, here is my thoughts! 1. PLEASE take some thought about how the doors opens to every room. According to me there are 2 doors upstairs and 1 door downstairs that opens the wrong way, and it makes me crazy 😂 also I think both the outside doors is opening wrong 🫣. 2. The kitchen makes me claustrophobic, so I would really really demolish the wall to the living room! Personally I would probably also remove the walls to the hallway. 3. You put the sandbox on the only side where the house has no windows, I don’t think that is a realistic approach cause you would want to see the kids from inside. 4. I would probably make the room downstairs to a washroom for washing machines, but it’s to big for it right now, so I would probably make it smaller with an extra wall and make a storage room and maybe a little office. 5. On the upper floor I would make the wall in the stairs halfway so it would become a “inside balcony” from upstairs to down stairs 🤔🫣 6. Change the style of every lamp buttons so the match, right now it’s one of that and one of this 🫣 P.s. don’t forget to play electrical outlets everywhere needed, like behind the tv and washing machines, and fridge and so on 🫣 Anyway! I love watching you play this game and will love every way you decide to do! Btw. Yes I do this for a living 😂😂😂😂 so I maybe bias🫣❤️, damn I really want this game but Christmas ate all my money 😑😬😭❤️
The back room that you thought might be a bedroom.. maybe open it up to be more open adding to the porch. Make a planting area and seating and still allowing all to use bathroom. Otherwise everyone goes thru someone's bedroom to use downstairs bathroom. Great work Grill. Xx
I like to grab what’s handy to climb on instead of renting scaffolding. The house that had a bunch of pallets lying around, I piled them up and got the higher parts off the house. I have used scaffolding once or twice though.
You could make the room in the back on the bottom floor the master bedroom. Since it has its on attached bathroom and and door to the outside. Or you can knock out the wall between the two rooms and make the middle room a dining room and the back room the livening room and since there is a bigger bathroom attached to the back room. Make the one at the end of the hall way a storage closet instead of a bathroom.
Do you think the price would decrease if you opened the living room and the kitchen up? I think it would look better and less boxed in on the first level.. love the series
Might I recommend blasting out that wall for the proposed living room? That would give an open floor plan where you can have a proper dining room and the living room can be on the other side. For that random "sauna" room, might I recommend a family/ game room? Or a movie theater?
I would have knocked down the wall between that bathroom and other room and made that into a massive kitchen space. You could keep both spaces and just turn one into a library and keep the other as a bathroom and make that tiny bathroom downstairs into a laundry room (the one by the stairs)
I really like how that house you bought is coming together. I think a bedroom for that downstairs room would be cool. Only other option I could see would be making that the living room and using the room you chose for that as a dining room, but I personally don’t really see the need for a dining room when the kitchen is nicely sized. A guest bedroom would be much better, imo. Also, I’m glad you’re doing the jobs still. I like seeing them. 😊
@@loublou16 From personal experience living in very small apartments, it looked decent to me. But I’m also out of it on cold meds so feel free to ignore me. Lol
I think downstairs room would be a good guest room with also option as a B&B kindda have own enterance, bathroom and access to living area and kitchen. But could be a lot of things also could be office and make upstairs into another bedroom.
Going from the front door. The first room you turn left into should be the Kitchen, then the dining and entertainment room by knocking down the wall between and rewiring the switches. (close to the kitchen could be the dining area, then further back it transitions to the entertainment/living room. Then a bathroom off of that that knocks down the wall between both bathrooms and makes a nicer, larger bathroom out of the two... if the wall between allows enough room to do so... two bathrooms on the same floor next to each other? Might as well make one if you can. Me personally though, I would leave the wall up between kitchen and dinning room, unless you feel like perhaps putting an island bar in or something like that... hmmm The reason I'm personally against that bottom back room becoming a bedroom is because it would be right next to the living room and if say you had guests, yes nice to have the guest bedroom, but then if someone comes into the living room in the middle of the night and turns on the TV, it could disturb the person in the guest bedroom... I know I've had that happen irl because I was the one doing the disturbing even though I tried to be as quiet as a mouse... Though this is just a game so, *shrugs*.
Make the living room into a dining room and that room you don't know what to do with the living room. I'm enjoying watching you play. I won't be able to get the game until it comes out on console so you're riding me over until I can play!
that small bathroom could’ve been turned into a pantry, i think it’d be neat to add one in the next house you buy. and to turn the bedroom downstairs into a sun room like area with plants instead and use the bathroom in that room as a type of gardening area? that would be out of place for a beach house but something like that maybe?
I think the back rooms should be the kitchen + utility room. The one you chose for the kitchen is way too small you are not going to be able to fit much in
I'd say turn the blue subway tiled room into a laundry room. It looks like the 2 rooms you're asking about is the mother in law's room and bathroom... or maybe a guest room w/bathroom.
I wanna watch a British person playing this, I feel like American and British style is super different. American seems a little outdated with cherry wood and panelling etc
Yesterday I made a second post and I didn't want it to get misinterpreted. In the post when I said I didn't care how long it took. How I ment it is, In 2018 the doctors discovered I had a brain tumor. It's very rare in children so they were surprised to find in me at 49 years old.. they didn't know how long it was lurking there. I was rushed from😅 Yakima to Seattle to have it removed. I went through months of chemo and radiation that forced ne to retire. So when I said I don't care how long it takes it was meant to come out unless have to pay bills, go to doctors appointments or go to the store. I'm always home. I know content creators have to bow to the youtube big wigs. But I don't mind longer videos or videos that more then one upload.
Can I ask. Why you just redoing the houses how they are and not changing configuration of rooms. As you have tools to demolish walls and stuff. You should see more openly what you can do. Nothing bad intended just observation.
That back room should be the master bedroom. Also loved that you didn't cut the painting this time around. Also don't forget RADIATORS!! Lol

Hey no worries about coughing, it's what I'm doing too. And half my co-workers (we're all working remotely). It's coughing season.

Hope you get better soon

The children’s drawings on the wall was adorable!,
Please make all the windows cherry!! Once you see it you can’t see anything else!!

The new version doesn't have quite the same spooky surprises as the old one.
Great content! Hope you get well soon.

37:00 that is the point of having siblings 😂. To annoy you. And sometimes FIGHT 😅

you can tell how big a tile (example wooden one) is, cuz the white squares represents the actual squares you put the floor on in the game

You never look up at the ceiling Grill small bedroom at 3:50 on the ceiling next to the light.
I love your videos

Saw another comment that made tons of sense. You need a laundry room.
