At this time there's no way to change the time/date on the USB recorder. We have contacted the manufacturer to put in a fix to the firmware. I will keep you posted when we hear back.
How can you tell when the battery is fully charged? Can over charging damage the battery? What the set up time from turning on the recorder to ready to record? Thanks

In playback on my PC Real Player used to let me fast forward but since it was updated the new Real Player does not give me that option!
I use them on a daily basis they are great-I know who is talking about me-this gadget proved i was not being paranoid. I bought 44 of them from china, and best of all without serial numbers they cant be traced back to me. I can record a voice from 35 feet away with mine. I always tell people don't talk about be behind my back, cause I'll find out from the person you told. You can buy them real cheap.

What is the bit depth of this 192k recording? I routinely use the DB9PRO, which is a 4-bit recorder. The noise floor is quite noticeable when listening to regular speech from 4-6 feet away.

Van Smith Simply plug it in like any removable drive, and access the files. From there you can erase them!
Teton Webstores Thanks.I really like this device. I was skeptical when I first bought it because in the past I had been disappointed in such recording devices....BUT this is beautiful. I am still playing with it. I leave it every where and come back and play it. I am having such a good time. As soon as I master it I will get a few more...but right now I don't want anyone to know what I am doing........heh heh he.

It has probably already been said but having special software would be logical. That way if they plug it in you could have files that don't mean crap for them to view. If you plug it in to your computer with even the simplest software designed to read the flash drive. Then and only then would you be able to see the voice recordings.People are not stupid and if you wanted to leave this drive unattended and they found it, the on/off switch alone would make them curious and then all they have to do it turn it off and plug it in......Busted. I'd rather leave it. call a few minutes later saying I know I left it and I'll be back later to get it. That is if I can't hide it and just come back later. You could probably learn a lot more if they knew you left it. Listen to them say stuff like "Lets see whats on his flash drive" and a lot more.
YES MY HUSBAND FOUND IT IN MY COMPUTER CHARGING AND THREW IT IN THE TRASH. IT WAS CRAPPY WHEN IT CAME TO THE DATE AND FINDING THE FILES. I REALLY ONLY LIKED THE SIZE. NOW I. BOUGHT A NEW CAMERA TO SPY ON HIM AND IT IS TALKING REALLY LOUD SO HE ALMOST DISCOVERED IT. I AM SICK OF SPYING AND HATE BEING MARRIED TO A CHEATING SCOUNDREL.

I bought one to spy on my Cheating Husband and it was hard to figure out which recording was the new one on my IMAC because it doesn't let you set the date and the USB came with a Dec. Date on it. All my recordings said the same day in December 31st. How do you change the dates?

To erase recordings go to my computer and then open the drive where it is plugged in, example D or E or F. Double click and open the DVR. Click again to open Voice. To delete files right click and then delete. To listen to them just dbl click.

The phrase "CD quality" doesn't mean good audio. It just means any quality of audio, poor or better, at a sampling rate comparable to a CD.
