This mini voice recorder can record up to 72 hours continuously with the extended battery pack or get up to 7 hours without the extended battery pack! This recorder is super portable and has a removable clip that you can used to clip on clothing or other objects.
Despite the small size of this voice recorder you have many options to listen to what you have recorded; you can listen through the built-in speaker or plug in headphones/speakers. Also there is extra software needed to transfer the recordings onto a computer, simply plug it in to any MAC or Windows computer and it will show up as a drive on your computer. You can burn the files to CD or put them on an iPod!
The microphone has three sensitivity settings and is powerful enough to record in a large lecture hall or can be used for close range recording while blocking out noises further away. Eliminate bulky tape recorders with this super small voice recorder!

Hi theoryg, I don't see why not. The MiniClip saves the audio files as MP3s, so you can play them back on any program that plays MP3s.

speaking frankly, how many seconds of delay until recording starts after pressing rec? I have had similar devices in the past and found up to 4 secs of delay. Thanks a lot

I am wondering about if you can transfer your speeches etc. to a flash drive and play while running flash drive images on tv at the same time??
The first voice recording (to demonstrate voice activation) sounded pretty good. The second recording sounded really bad. The beginning, especially, was badly distorted and probably clipped. Whatever setting you used for that one, I'd say IMHO is unusable.
Also, you said it records MP3 files but you didn't mention the bitrate. And the "headphone" jack also has a "microphone" icon ... does that mean you can record using an external mic?
Wish I could find one just like that ....except with a one push button start/ record/ stop button that would clip conveniently on the visor of an auto. Just be able to reach up ...push one button and record a memo with out having to fumble for multiple buttons. Any help or recommendations from you young tech geek experts would be appreciated

I purchase this since April were now in August and I still can't figure out how to have it on auto record . I've sent messages and nothing even call and no one answered . They should have video on how to put it on voice activate !
