It's been wrecked. And sat for a long time until someone fixed it up
Really?
Lol no.
If not what happened to the rubber side trim? Also, my 92 has a factory tach on the left top of the dash factory.
Best diesel ever made. Will last many many years. 12 valve was an awesome engine.
Cause it doesn’t make enough power to hurt itself
@@Bouzoukiellas doesn’t matter if it was stock or built. the 12v was an amazing motor🤡

Truck is gorgeous. $45K for a 1st gen is insane, regardless of the miles/mint condition. Hats off to you if you can find someone who is willing to pay it. Good luck with the sale.
I would put that towards a new one

2021 Ram truck: Welcome to your new Ram pickup truck.
1993 Dodge Ram: bzzzzzzzzzzzz.
Ive got a 94 Cummins dually!! I bought new , all original ,auto , 2 wheel, garaged its entire life😇
I bet the paint still looks good, too.
Are you kidding me??? Where did you guys come up with these trucks?? If I don't hit the lottery soon someone's going to have to put me in the psych ward. Unbelievable this truck is amazing.
They are most likely restored or had work done to them.
Question is, where are these trucks coming from with these low miles. I can see a few here and there without high mileage but not as many as they come up with. I’m old enough to remember these tricks when they were new and I promise you it’s been repainted and dents have been fixed with that body. Just hard to find one like that. Regardless of my negative comments I would still love to have one like this it’s a very nice truck.
My thoughts exactly. Its a very good paint job but theres no way its original. No manufacturer has mass produced paint that is as level and clear as that. Its definitely been worked on. Not a negative at all, lord knows it would be one less thing for me to have to do, but it does make you wonder just what is underneath all the paint.
Heaven.

@@1369Thomas mine stopped at 181,000 bout 20 yrs ago. Been a daily driver most of its life, and still is. No telling how many miles it has. Still gets me from A to B, but she's very tired and showing her age....
Definitely been fully restored. Orginal grill said Dodge. Bumpers looked to be replaced as well. Nice truck.
And had a Ram hood Oridiment.
@@chargermaster586 90 was the last yr for that.
None of that make any sense whatsoever with that milage. Also most had rubber trim down the sides. Mine does anyway.
@@chargermaster586 they didn't after 89. I have a 92. No hood ram. Some people have added them i have seen.
@@ronskancke1489 worked for a farmer in the 90's. He drove a 90, it had a goat on the hood.
Beautiful truck man. That cummins isn't even broken in yet. She's a keeper! I'm jealous!
A sports car guy here, and this truck would be toward the top of my wish list for any vehicle. Just awesome!
I bought one of these new in 93. It was in the shop 12 times in 18 months. Power problems, Brake Problems so Bad it almost got me killed while Emergency Braking. It took a hard left when the brakes were applied hard.
As I recall. To change the oil filter you had to remove the brake system from the firewall.
I figured I would still be driving it today. But what an expensive mistake that was!
Best Wishes! M.H.
What I never understood is why Chrysler put a 1 million mile engine in a 70,000 mile truck. But hey, it worked for them!
Impossible. The only filter is on the passenger side towards the front . Brake master cylinder on the drivers side. I have owned my 92 for 20 years and replaced u joints and one front wheel bearing at 200thousand miles.
Awesome truck. Those were my favorite of the Dodge Rams.
Nice clean truck. Not even broken in yet, basically new. Love the rims and rubber as well.
Looks like something that mustve sat somewhere for a long time. Or maybe even a farm truck or possibly owned by a fire department. Sometimes those trucks dont see many miles put it them. Then it was found any damage fixed, then painted, then a major detailing.
That's an aftermarket grille and all body trim is missing. More than likely it had been wrecked and has been put back on the road with aftermarket fenders also.
I agree.
I have a be a 99 with manual trans and 182,000 miles.
Absolutely love it
That's nice but thing i like about this is square body and everything looks like real metal like the old cars do. Although it rusts so fast.
How do you not show the engine, its that engine that fueled the diesel craze in the first place, unbelievable.
“Fueled the diesel craze”come on bro😐you can’t be serious.
@@thomashopper3705 ok tell me what engine fueled the diesel then?.....
@@conservativecrusader80 7.3 1 million percent fueled it.
@@thomashopper3705 I'll be the first to say the 7.3 its all its configurations was a great engine, I don't think any serious person could or would dispute that. When the 5.9 Cummins came out in 1989 it was turbocharged, the 7.3 wasn't turbocharged until 1994 by then Cummins dumped the rotary injection pump and in '94 introduced the Bosch P-7100 pump that is still used very competitively on diesels. Look we're probably going to have to agree to disagree but someone once said: the Duramax is for a daily driver, a Powerstroke is for work, and a Cummins is for your hot rod!

This is the cleanest first gen commins I have ever seen, and in the best configuration.
Every bit as gorgeous as my 2018 2500 cummins with 6 speed manual G56 trans! I would love to drive it just compare the first gen against my what? 4th generation? Its amazing how every Cummins sounds like a Cummins even if they are completely different engines.
Even their semi truck engines have a distinctive sound compared to the other brands.
Nice truck but $45k no thanks when you can get new or couple years old for that or $10k more
Beautiful Truck, insane low mileage. Wow. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
I have one of these. Only with more miles on it. The engine is good. The transfer case is good. The getrag transmissions have problems. These pickups ride rougher than a tank. The body is very light duty and cracks and falls apart. The doors fall apart. The frames crack at the steering box. Radiators cost a fortune. People will pay a lot for a really good engine. I guess.
That’s the way I’ve always felt about the Dodge Ram w/ Cummins trucks. They put a motor under the hood that will outlast the vehicle several times over. I’ve never owned one of these trucks, but from others that I know who have, and what I’ve heard about them, they are a cheap all around vehicle except the engine.
I really hope this classic survivor truck comes up for sale again someday, so far of all great trucks I have seen on this channel, this one is still my favorite. I think have had to come back and re-watch this video about every couple months just to remind myself that these sort of rare finds are really out there.
Great video, Great truck!
45k for a formally wrecked truck? No thanks....
Beautiful truck, but how is it a truck with only 22k miles is missing the original grill, side mouldings and fender flares considering it's an L.E. Truck and has had the tailgate trim painted and is missing the headliner. Price just seems a little steep considering that.
I have questions about the same things, that grille sends up some red flags so you start looking for more issues.
@@ljkck3578 when he dos a side shot look on the bed above the rear wheels like wavey like its had the dodge rust they fixed and the green looks off from what was offered on 93 cummins 250s
Truck needs an original factory grill on it. Overall though it’s a nice truck.
Didn't care for the grille Chrysler slapped on from 91- 93 but it has a great upgrade
Keep it!
Just a shipping crate for the Cummins engine.
No headliner, shift knob is incorrect, grille is aftermarket, drivers arm rest is lifting and the plastic in them is probably broken, tailgate panel has been painted. This truck is nice but it's not what it's being advertised as. Probably previously wrecked like other comments suggest.
most of those are in the crusher. sweet ride , love old doges !!
The front end of the frames of these trucks were not built heavy enough for the Cummins engine, as they were the same frame the had from the 70s.
very nice truck but to many red flags
Wanted to buy one of these old square-bodied Dodge’s so bad back in the early 90’s, but unfortunately I was still in college and broke as can be! By the time I was in financial position to purchase a new vehicle the 94+ body style had already been out for a couple of years and to me those trucks just didn’t have any of that old school charm.....😕
If only these can be remanufactured. That metal body look that old cars had is so anesthetically pleasing
I am not always a dodge guy, but when I am its this one and older ones
I am salivating big-time Dang nicer than any new truck coming off the lot today I’m curious what it sold for I’m guessing 50 K
Never show the bottom of the cars just because you show the inside of the wheel doesn’t mean the frame is not rusted I’m just saying get under the car instead of walking around twice
It looks clean but without documents verifying the miles who knows.
The best part of this truck is the CarFax - It's up on our Facebook page as well as our Instagram, check it out!
Beautiful truck, but 45k is pushing it, for any classic, we’ll who knows they may be worth more in the future idk
This truck has being repainted it's missing all the plastic mouldings
Dodge factory paint was never that level or reflective. Its either been repainted or its been heavily detailed. Im leaning towards a respray, but a well done respray.
Yes who ever did that paint job did a real nice another thing that I notice is the chrome grill the dodge letters are missing I own 2 first gens a 93 and a 92 the 93 is a manual transmission and the 92 is an automatic
@Game Bred Duramax yeah and they are exaggerating on the price meight as well get a new one
@@abdonmorales7361 I agree, it’s getting like the old muscle cars are now.
You can tell from the clean undercarriage this truck has probably been taken apart rust removal and painted the frame is painted all black. No way in hell it would look that clean and be this old without being resprayed underneath..but it's nice either way
15K tops!!
That’s a more realistic price.
That Body Lasted Forever 1972-1993.
It would be interesting how many came from the factory set up like this.
That’s one nice truck. It’s a time capsule.
Man I hate dodge, they can’t make a car worth 200,000 miles but damn that’s a good looking truck!
My 2003 5.9 gas lasted 320,000 miles, but needed three transmissions and five a/c blower motors.
The sad part is, they’ll probably get 45 out of it....
It’s a nice tuck for sure, but if I’m going to spend that kind of money on a truck, it’s going to be a newer model one for sure.
@@bluegrassman3040 For 45k Its a Show piece not a Work horse not In that Condition.
@@chargermaster586 the only thing that makes this truck valuable is the Cummins engine. Supposedly it’s harder to get parts for these older Chrysler vehicles(excluding the Cummins parts.) I know some people who only drove Chrysler products, and they were always having to back order certain parts back ten or more years ago, or had to get stuff at a salvage yard just because they parts were not available.
@@bluegrassman3040 lots of aftermarket parts for these trucks now. And you get really good or really tired of replacing them over and over again....🙄

Some mentioned it was a rebuild of a totaled truck...has anyone seen the car fax? I don’t even know if one that old has a report. Even if it was a repaint with the wrong grill, it’s in great shape. I think they are a tad high...but I’m not standing there negotiating to buy so what I’d offer doesn’t matter
You could get a 2016 for that money just saying. Truck is awesome one of a kind you dont see many around that clean
I’m sittin here at work, and for some reason just poured cement all over my lap.
I'm thinking it's been redone. My 93 grill says Dodge in it this doesn't. Still nice truck

Why do I feel this one is gonna be like the price of a new used truck
I LOVE THIS TRUCK... ID LIKE IT BUT MY NEPHEW WOULD STEAL IT... LOL BEAUTIFUL TRUCK. SERIOUSLY THOUGH ID LOVE TO ADD THAT TO THE COLLECTION ❤❤❤🦁🦁🦁✌️♠️
Sweet. I know someone who owns one who wouldn’t even sell for 40 grand
There was a really nice 93 on utube sold for 18500 the other day. My 92 isn't nearly as nice and I wouldn't sell it for that. What are u going to replace it with for that money? Some newer car or pickup with 100 thousand plus miles for 30 thousand? I'll keep mine. With 210 thousand miles it will still be going long after I'm gone from this earth. I'm 72 and drive it maybe 1000 miles a year.

That is surely one beautiful old truck one of the best looking trucks that will be on the road right there. And you'll never have to worry about that Cummins motor that's for sure. Sign me up.
They used a frame from the 1970s that was designed to hold up a v8 gas engine. Not an inline 6 diesel.
@@bluegrassman3040 wow that's pretty interesting I never knew that I do know they Twisted a hell of a lot of frames though. LMAO. Thanks a bunch for the reply I appreciate it
@@MakinEndsMeet69 your welcome. I’m sure they used a stronger frame when they went to the second Gen, but not real sure.
@@bluegrassman3040 I don't know for sure if they did but probably so, but by that time they already had detuned the engine so it probably wouldn't matter much. Have a great day!
Thats hilarious. Have you ever looked at the frames under these things? It a full one ton truck frame and suspension. I have a 92 completely stock and no problem resembling that.
How does it carry 25% oil pressure when its not running and wtf is the tach. Also if it had 22000 miles only the doors would close with a 2 finger push.
i need a first gen
Is this the whistlin deisel truck that he destroyed?
She's a beauty
When I first wanted one of these trucks I couldn't afford one. Now I could afford the price they were but not the price they are now. They just aren't worth what people are paying for them. The problem is too many rich parents buying their spoiled kids these trucks.
The engine is the only thing that worth anything in the whole truck.
So why is that a problem. Its America bro.
@@bluegrassman3040 I totally disagree. Massive frame. Danna 60 front and rear diff. Indestructible transfer case. Plus the body on mine is hanging in there pretty good for a truck that is nearly 40 years old.
