    If we are starting the gaps late my little one is 11 months how should we start? From week 1??

    Thanks for this recipe! Baby loves it. And thank you also for your notes on raw foods. Have you ever had a baby refuse to drink meat stock or only accept cod liver (not chicken or beef), though? Because ours does!

      You're welcome! I haven't had that happen. You could try different kinds of meat stock. I would just keep offering it. As for liver, I would go with what they like, but keep offering the others, too :)

    Thank you for this content! Looking back at some other topics discussed on your channel I had a couple of questions.
    I have started brewing kombucha (first batch) I’m on second fermentation process. I am breastfeeding. Do you think kombucha is safe during breastfeeding (your opinion is valuable) and do you think the second fermentation increases alcohol content or is safe if done under 3 days?
    2nd question: do you think it is ok to go on GaPS while breastfeeding? Would the low carb content affect milk supply or nutrition?

      I was low-carb with my second and third pregnancies and am still breastfeeding, and I actually feel BETTER the more low-carb I am. I can't speak to supply, as I always struggle with that (regardless of my diet), but I personally feel that healthy fats are more key to successful breastfeeding than oats, etc. I was able to breastfeed our middle child until almost age 3 while consuming little to no carbs, and he was our healthiest (and chubbiest) toddler.

      Great questions! I personally drink kombucha (including second fermentation) while nursing, because I was already drinking it before. I'm comfortable with it based on the research I've done. Dr. Natasha recommends only full GAPS (not intro) while nursing, because intro triggers a lot of detox and we don't want to expose baby to that. GAPS doesn't have to be low carb. Carrots, peas, winter squash, fruit, etc. all boost carbs. And full GAPS supplies excellent nutrition :)
