If y'all do plan to circumcise him, a 100% MUST have is a jar of Aquaphor & the large baby q-tips! Trust me- once the wound starts to dry post op & you're no longer keeping the area covered w gauze you do NOT want that poor sensitive area sticking to his diaper! Applying a large glob of the ointment using the large q-tip after getting him cleaned for a new diaper is essential 🖤 Also- some type of sanitizer to use prior to tending to the wound (def don't want to introduce any icky germs causing infection)
I would also recommend using a medicine dropper to rinse it off during diaper changes. It is not recommended to you wipes on it. Medicine dropper was easier to keep water from getting on his belly button.
I found drinking a coconut water really helped me feel hydrated and keep my supply up. For the first couple months I probably drank one a day. I also think it might be helpful to have some Vaseline or aquafore if you decide to circumcise your son. You need it for each diaper change until it heals.
Get milk catchers to help store milk first couple months you will leak a bunch. If you don’t want to store milk then get reusable pads it’s easier to wash in case you run out of the disposable especially since they don’t hold a ton.
Ignore if this is known information. Congrats on baby! But idea if you don’t know….For changing baby boy, get a stack of cheap wash clothes or get one cloth and cut it up in small squares. you have to cover them when you open the diaper instantly, because whoosh baby boy will start to pee and it shoots in a rainbow before you can think to react. So one uses a wash cloth quickly cover the spot the minute you begin to switch out the diaper and while wiping clean. Also. If you circumcise, no judgement either way, but if you do, you want tubes of Vaseline (specifically in a tube), you squirt the spot with an ice cream cone layer generously before re-diapering until ped tells you he is healed. Hospital gives you some if you do procedure, but you’ll want more in a tube. :). Best wishes to your whole family.
Going in on Monday morning to start the process of having my baby! This video is exactly what I needed😁 Going to target rn to grab a few last minute items thanks to your video 🤩
Watching the video, when you was showing the cart and showed the lolli co lotion my toddler said "that mine"? Lol she knows that's what we use on her, I said yeah it's like yours, she said "give it" lol so needless to say she loves her lolli co lavender lotion🤭 I wasn't expecting that from her, didn't think she was watching my phone sitting beside me, thought she was watching TV lol they are ALWAYS watching & listening 😆
If you need the nipple shields its a good idea to get in contact with a lactation consultant asap. They work well with nipple pain (used them myself) but they can negatively impact you milk supply. Also breastfeeding is not supposed to hurt and it could mean that the latch isnt good, which also decreases your milk supply.
Are you also going to do a family meal prep? I know I did and I was so excited to have it postpartum but then I realized that my baby has a milk allergy as I am breastfeeding. so I haven’t been able to use my postpartum meal prep because everything has cheese in it 😅 but I still think it’s a great idea for those early days!
Amazon has really nice cheap changing pads that work great we use that for our downstairs so it’s easy & upstairs have an actual changing table. Everything looks great mama! Looks like your ready 😊
Omg it's so crazy to hear you say your 8MONTHS PREGNANT!!...like what!! Where did time go?! It isn't even me that's going through it but it seems like it has gone by SO fast!
Towards the end of my last pregnancy my husband wanted me to wear Depends all the time in case my water broke so I wouldn’t make a mess on the couch or whatever 😄

Thank you!!!
Vaseline is great for preventing diaper rash too. I would apply it after every diaper change.
The Freda mom peri bottle is like a Portable bidet. I loved it when I had it.

An easier trick is just gently brushing a wet wipe on their lower tummy before opening the diaper. Works like a charm.
The frida mom ice pads you will definitely want also! They are amazing!!
Yes! I have them! They came in that kit. I just took them to the kitchen. Good to know you loved them!
Your getting it all done girl. Can't wait to see baby boy. Good one!!
Pro tip. Use a bottle warmer to warm your perri bottle.
