This video started as an April fools joke, but I took a more serious analytical approach. Trust me I've been reading all the comments on the last video where Jake and I compared the two. Stay until the end of this one it would mean a lot to me.
I play paintball in Canada. Paint is expensive and the only way to cut cost is if your field has memberships. At my field I have to pay 150$ on a 1 year membership just to get a case of paint 75$ or 315$ for a 1 year membership to get a case of paint for 50$.
WillBallForSoup bruh you said air soft is better than paintball and then you said paintball is better than air soft. Make up your fucking mind you fake ass youtuber

Guess you never played, some times them seconds count in tournament play. There holding lanes of paint that if it stops the opposing team moves in that opening, why there loading one handed while shooting.
Will happen, as you have to reload. In Airsoft... you just need the magazines already gassed and loaded. Just like a real gun, switch magazines. Not stand and struggle to quickly throw in some balls, as you have none. Oh wait. that doesn't sound right. But you know what I mean. :P
ya 30 plus yrs ago youd split boxes of paint cost or ref to get a minor discount or fill bottles, then you join a team and get a minor discount at your home field and ref etc clean
Came to revisit & read the comments lol 😂 love that you covered this bro. I cant wait to get back out on the paintball field & also cant wait to get ya’ll out on the airsoft field. ...play what makes you happy ya’ll 🤷🏾♂️
The pushback on the last video was so overwhelming I had to acknowledge the other side. Next paycheck I'm getting my first airsoft gun. Thinking about an UMP build which is my favorite SMG and just the right size for speedqb
@@dajackisback4609 That's good news. I hate to see a man playing Airsoft when they could be playing paintball. Airsoft is nothing but a perpetual cycle of getting mad about cheaters, then considering/starting to cheat yourself because of frustration.
I have tons of respect for this guy to be a paintball channel and say how airsoft is better I think they both have pros and cons and are both good sports
I remember when I was in middle school I was stuck between buying a pump paintball gun or a spring airsoft gun. I chose the spring airsoft gun because the ammo was cheap. But 6 years later I'm running a gas airsoft pistol and I don't regret getting into airsoft.
Ive played tournament paintball on and off for the last 15 years and played as high as D2, while ill always love paintball and still have plenty of gear(I wear jt teams and sandanas while airsofting) I changed course in 2015 and started "speedsofting". Watching airsoft grow and being at the forefront of it competitively is an awesome thing to experience and with speedqb making waves and normalizing competitive airsoft it has been a huge help in getting this recognized. Great video and can't wait to see you venture into the plastic slingers!
Otto von Bismarck bruh literally everything but the guns and ammo is the same for airsoft and for paintball. Like clothing and gameplay is totally mutual depending on the players. Like what would stop a paintball player from doing a ww2 Russian loadout in a milsim game? Nothing, except I can admit I functioning magfed gun that isn’t an m4 platform practically doesn’t exist in paintball
Just so you know bro, magfed paintball (which I used to play) and airsoft (which I play now) is literally the exact same in every way except the guns. Like the gameplay, movement, communication, clothing, everything. Airsoft kids like to pretend every paintball player plays speedball, but that’s like saying every airsoft player is hardcore milsim and milsim west is the only form of game you can play. Yeah it’s common, but it’s not the only form of the sport.
IMO (airsoft player) Most people don't play airsoft for any competitive reason. Its just for the fun of it, I mean yeah winnings fun but most the time you just playing for the giggles. No where else have I wandered round a forest belting out country roads holding an ak. I don't know what the casual scene is like in paintball but in airsoft its great fun. At my local field each game has a winning and losing team but that only really decided who gets first pick on where they start next game. I find that its genuinely not the winning that matters, the fun is in the teamwork and shenanigans that happen along the way.
I copied my reply to a diff person but wanted you to see it. I started playing PB recently and it has the exact vibe you're talking about with airsoft, but in my humble opinion even better I'm not sure why it isn't mentioned in either this video or why you're not aware of this. I started playing paintball every weekend with a mag fed M4. I'm strapped to the nines with about 12 magazines and it's way more realistic than any airsoft game. Why? when I hit someone there is no second guessing, you don't have to worry about an honor system and you're going to feel it WAY more than a little BB. Also, my magazines hold as many rounds as an actual gun. Like I stated I just can't figure out how this new way of paintballing hasn't really caught on. And btw I don't play on speedball fields, I play real maps like airsoft guys do. First strike rounds are changing the game but they're still way too damn expensive, .68 cal are still more than adequate. And lastly, I spend on average about $40 worth of paint playing ALL day long. So it's really not bad at all. There's my 2 cents and hopefully more people will catch on to this.
I am 13 and I wanted to play airsoft so I showed my mom what it was and she screamed no because she said thats how school shooters and terriost are made and she told me to play paintball
Yep similar to my dad I asked him for airsoft but I can only get paintball cause when he was a kid he killed a bird with a BB gun on accident but I am pretty sure u can also kill a bird with a paintball gun
@Richard HART Yeah but its kinda the same thing like speedQB in airsoft. It only really exists in small niche communities. Paintball is mostly played with a tournament style in mind, while airsoft is played with a focus on the military aspect, with bdus and plate carriers and all that. I just think its stupid to compare these two sports in all honesty. It's like comparing snow boarding to surfing. Same basic foundations, but completely different in execution.
@@ceziusairsoft1582 The best comment in this video! Airsoft is more for training for military combat and knowing how to read learn coordination and how and when to attack or retreat, I have never played any of them to be honest but i would really love to get into airsoft much more. Anyway Airsoft is completely banned sport in Middle East and here in Egypt because government will accuse us of terrorism if even tried to import an airsoft gun from Amazon xD so it's a must to fly to Europe and play there.
Also as far as I’m aware paintball guns all function the same when you get down to it, but airsoft has snipers, shotguns, rifles, pistols, and many other unique variations within those(like lever actions)
Maybe you should reconsider your opinion on "fact number two", you only cover tournament paintball, never heard of magfed/ woodland paintball? It´s with replica weapons on much the same fields as airsoft, all military style. Maybe you check out the two events on the Mahwinkel ground in germany: "Dark Emergency" is an airsoft event and one week later on the same grounds it´s the "European Big Game" for paintball. And for the imperfections and "brittle" paint, there two reasons (espacially in tournament pb), first you can buy barrels inserts to match the paint in your marker. Second the brittle paint is for tournement use , cause you get these "bulky" jearsys to get bouncer, which don´t count as hits. Electro pneumatic Markers are softer to paint and more a tournamnet thing, as all pneumatic Markers, which are a magfed thing. At scenario plays (magfed) you get more sturdy (field) paint which don´t break as easy in your barrel as brittle paint. I like Paintball more, cause I have an Pb field near me and i can drive like every saturday to it to play, without being in a team or something like that. I don´t need like big events to play, whenever I want. And there is one more thing, if you get hit and it was a hit you´ll see it, cause of the paint on your gear, nobody can argue with that. If you get hit, but the paint don´t bursts, than it isn´t a hit. Only my two cents.
my opinion, it satisfies me to see my paintball explode on my enemy, especially headshots : ) ,never had a mess in my car or house from paintball, i usually play in a group of 4 so 500 each and we split 2000 paintballs we play for 3 hours and usually pay around 80$ each, sure its expensive but worth it i have never played airsoft but it looks like alot of fun!
I went paintballing for the first time a few days ago. What blew my mind was how many people wasted their ammo just shooting targets in the lobby area before every game.

KhakiPeach2 that’s way too many bb’s for any one game let alone 20 games. You’re essentially playing laser tag. Do they have modeled, working shotguns and bolt action realistic sniper rifles? Absolutely. Replica pistols with blowback? Check. Literally the ONLY thing AS has over MFPB is selection of guns, that’s it. Not one thing else. Nadda
@@WillBallForSoup sorry my dude paintball is for more aggressive people to play at a high level you better bring your A game. Navy SEALs,Green berets,Rangers all train with paintball in real life scenarios and if they dont use paintball they use real guns that are fitted with paintball bullets called "simunition" don't know if you heard about that but they shoot just like real bullets only law enforcement and military personnel can purchase them. I played a little airsoft when I was a kid but paintball fit me more. To me paintball is better all I see on UA-cam is a bunch of grown men getting into arguments with kids it's pathetic.
Just played my first ever paintball games today, and if I’m being honest it’s one of the most fun things I have ever done. The grimy sport aspect doesn’t take much effect when your playing, and the paint washes off easily. But, I ended up spending a ton of money on it
Hi Curtis 👋 this is more of a thought experiment on why each sport is better than the other one. If you take a look at some of my other vids you'll see this is a paintball channel
@@WillBallForSoup Yeah i played once or twice paintball and bought a set up but now i wanna try airsoft cus paint ball is cool but i think the tactical aspect of airsoft is more defined and my thing. even with a tuned in gun in pb you still miss like crazy and I don't like that. honesty people cheat in pb as well i lit up and tagged two guys in two diff games in intermediate play and they still stayed in with no respawns
Honestly i have tried and played both and found them to be fun. I never knew about the speedairsoft format which actually seems fun. Airsoft is easily the most affordable but i find it easier to cheat in and besides guns and ammo it can easily cost as much if not more than paintball depending on how far you want to go into it. For me there is more paintball options in my city with the only airsoft field standing out being an indoor field with 1 map which quickly grows boring and the rest being a couple of paintball fields offering select weekends for airsoft play. As for the mess i don't mind it because i know that is a thing with the sport and i usually bring other clothes to change into including shoes so i am not driving home covered in paint or dirt. Also some peopel claim airsoft is less impactful but i can verify i have come home with more but smaller bruises after airsofting than i did from paintballing due to alot of the places allowing higher fps. It all comes down to prefrence in all reality, i like to feel a little kick and weight to my stuff which in airsoft you have to get gas blow back stuff which cost more which means you have to buy extra magazines which cost alot then you have to deal with green gas orbuying a hpa tank and running a remote line to your gun that will either accept it or have to get a special magazine that allows for it. I do have to say i like paintball more because it brings back more memories of me going paintballing with my friends and having a blast after workign to get money to go
so expesive when it really doesnt need to be.... i think that its a complete rip off saying that you need to support your paintball fields by paying that much or we need to get more people involved. it's rediculous reduce prices, more people come into the sport and easy. including all the things he said
That be really cool to see paintball player playing in airsoft new content to explore into. Also at my field at xplex just opened up a couple speedsoft fields.
Living in Canada....paintball is expensive but it's more to with the trades deal Canada and the US have. We are not rich, it's just when you like playing a sport you will pay for it.
Got through the rest of the video, extremely well done, going from a joke to an actual serious video. Earned my sub. Excited to get your thoughts on speedqb, especially because of your background of paintball. I've done both a fair amount (a ton more airsoft for sure) and they are both a blast, just different games. I honestly wished we could see more of the sports working together to grow both communities, We are extremely similar when it comes down to things. Solid video, excited to see what comes from the channel more.
I think both have good people but have toxic trash people as well. PB was fun and is fun with friends but felt at some point I am feeling like I am spending too much money and not tactical enough tbh. I like the pace of airsoft more. PB feels like headless chickens and with the splatter and inaccuracy you are pinned down more than you wish through a game.
I’m from Canada. I can tell you that Paintball’s are expensive up here. Fields sell there paint to non members for $175.00 a case. For members it’s about $80 a case. Thanks.
play at badlandz dude really competitive players and just a classic field also its one of the last fields in IL that has byop and if you buy paint there is 50 a case
Sadly paint prices in Illinois have always been high since I started playing in 1996. The only 2 fields that offer BYOP is Fox (unless they changed it) and Badlandz. Both of which aren’t close and require tolls if I want to get there the quickest route possible. But @Archie P definitely try to get on a team with a paint sponsorship or discount on paint threw the field. Or get a few guys together and try to work something out with the field owner. As far as teams this state has several and when CPX closed down I’m sure your local field picked up a team or two. Even if you aren’t into speedball there are scenario teams. Even woodsball is starting to make a big comeback.
A teensie bit late but- One of the points about airsoft being a cleaner sport is only semi true, as playing in an outdoor field will always get your gear gunked with dirt and mud (especially at my wet swampy outdoor field). Some fields are more clean, such as the stated indoor cqb arenas.
When I went to this paintball/ Airsoft field in Michigan, the paintballers where super toxic. Wiping paint off and yelling like it was a life or death situation. Pretty cringey stuff.
Meh, same thing happens at my field with airsoft while paintball is much better in that respect. Varies from field to field, not really a pro/con for either sport/hobby
Yeah, I watched your other video and commented, and came to this video not realizing it was also by you. You're a cool dude. I've also liked this video, and now I have subscribed.
Two totally different sports, hard to really compare the two. One note about paint being expensive - get your game up and find a solid team with a paint sponsor. Edit* this was a general comment and not directed towards the dude in the vid.
Both. Both is good. I play either for different reasons. Mainly the player base and play style for either side. I feel like I'm a more rounded player playing everything from woods ball to cqb airsoft
I live in South Africa and use paint ball to help my friends to get in to the sport of airsoft because they are addicted to fortnite so I try to get they into the sport it is much easier to find paintballs in south Africa
For me there's nothing better than diving into the snake with a custom mod-stock sniper built on an old pre2k PTP FX sponge anno'd body. There's just a sense of soul with paintball, especially playing some hardcore woods ball with an irreplaceable piece of history.
Hour from Toronto I pay 60$ a case for practice (around $50 usd) and 80-85 at events ($65-75 usd) woodsball I pay 100-120 a case although it’s good field paint it’s over priced and I don’t play woodsball often
The place I used to paintball at used to charge $70 for 2000 and rental guns with the co2, and the paintball holders were $150 a day. That's why I switched
I’ve never played airsoft and I do admit it is cool, but paintball has a bigger competitive scene and is a WAY faster sport than airsoft. Airsoft speed or whatever it’s called in my opinion is not a good idea, not only is the cover not good, but you can just use your dandy automatic gun to spawn camp them because airsoft bullets travel faster, sure you can have a semi only match with max 300 FPS if you want but the amount of cheating will also increase dramatically seeing that paintball is already full of cheater but can be easily detected by the huge splat of paint, meanwhile airsoft is a extremely tough one to spot especially with the small map and high amounts of cover. The concrete floor will also not be good in your favor where as in paintball it’s your best friend with sliding. Like I’ve said I’ve never played airsoft but i am really enjoying paintball since it is a faster and more dirty sport
its nice seeing the other side i think air soft has a slightly bigger fan base because of the reasons in the vid speed really depends on field size in air soft you can have 50 vs 50 and more in the woods both sports are great imo
Well if you watch thedeemoe (speedqb player) you can see how cheating is almost never a problem. They all have tracer units that help see the trajectory of the bb and literally everyone has a camera of sorts to review footage.
i dunno. Maybe i'm just weird, but when i played paintball, i always enjoyed the "getting dirty" aspect. Getting shot up with paint (as long as it wasn't to the face and into my damn mouth LMAO) was always fun to me. Maybe it's a part of my 4 year old self that I haven't gotten over lmao. SpeedQB probably is the future for competitive airsoft cuz paint is just too expensive. I haven't played in over 10 years and paint was expensive even back then.
I’ve played both sports but I ended up gravitating more towards airsoft and I’ve been playing at a field called Black Ops Airsoft in Illinois and its gone pretty well but I still go paint balling every ounce in a while
I watched both videos. I also played paintball first in the early - mid 2000s as a preteen and teenager before the financial crisis basically killed the sport of paintball, along with the economy itself. I lived in Florida at the time and played with a bunch of people who played for Tampa Bay damage. I then transitioned to airsoft when paintball became too expensive and had it's huge drop-off in fields and players. What makes airsoft fun, as you mentioned in the video, is it's realism and realistic nature. Some of the scenario reenactment games are pretty fun, and there are some games that reenact say like D-day for example and have thousands of people play over a 3 day weekend. Also as you mentioned the price of bb's vs paint, airsoft guns are on average far cheaper, and getting a decent platform and upgrading it to make them pretty wild doesn't cost an arm and a leg. For kids who rely on their parents as they don't have a job, this is hugely beneficial as a low barrier for getting players into the sport. Lastly, as far as airsoft bb's not being able to mark people like paint, and rely on the "honor system" for people to call their hits, I had an easy solution to that. That was having an airsoft gun that could shoot 30+ bb's per second at over 350 fps and just lighting someone up until they found it too painful to continue to pretend like they weren't getting shot. For those who are going to say I'm a dick for lighting people up, be aware that I pick and choose to whom I do that to. If a player is being honest, then there is no need, or if they're like 12 years old. But if they're visibly getting shot and not calling their hits, I'll go ahead and light them up until they do. It's a foolproof way for people to honor that system. And 2 gram airsoft bb's going 350-400 fps hurt. Depending on the distance on average I would say paintballs hurt more, just because of basic physics (f=m*a), but when you get close enough they can leave welts or make you bleed. That's why a lot of times on rec fields when they play cq, they usually ask players to only shoot in semi auto. As you showed in your video, you can pretty much play similar games in paintball in airsoft, like capture the flag, or other games like king of the hill etc. I'm sure you've seen on rec paintball fields that play woods ball have those kinds of games going which can be fun. I'm sure you've also seen there's a decent amount of woods ball players who have military style paintball guns. As far as that goes, I think airsoft wins by far in that respect. The airsoft guns are just far more realistic. Personally I'd rather have my electronic marker for paintball and airsoft gun for any milspec games. Plus having actual mags and plate carrier's is pretty fun too. I loved playing with mid cap magazines in airsoft that held about 50-200 rounds depending on mag type, that were spring loaded so you could run the full mag on one trigger pull in full auto, rather than winding a high cap mag over and over. Plus it adds to the realism. I had a dump pouch for my used mags, a silencer(which just added barrel length so I could have a sniper barrel in my m4, didn't actually work as a real silencer does), and even an under barrel grenade launcher(is gas powered and works like a shotgun, not like an actual projectile grenade). I'm currently getting back into paintball as I now can afford it on my own and the sport seems to have found a nice equilibrium, and when I want something military esq I just go shoot real guns. Obviously you can't shoot real guns at other people which is why airsoft is a thing, but shooting real guns at targets is just fine to scratch that itch, and if I want to play against people I go play paintball. I know this was long, sorry for the length but a lot needed to be explained that I don't think others mentioned. All that being said, I enjoyed my time playing airsoft in between the low points of paintball, as a budget way to continue to play similar sports, and as a hobby that didn't break the bank which adds to the enjoyment of being able to go spend a weekend having fun. I'm really excited about getting back into paintball, but if these Mexicans who worked on my house didn't steal my modded m4, I would have kept my airsoft gear and gone and played every once in a while. Since it was stolen, my desire to replace it was filled with buying a marker, and as I said I'll just go shoot real guns if that itch needs to be scratched.
10 reasons why Airsoft is *worse* than Paintball 1.) Huge amount more annoying kids in Airsoft because the pain threshold needed is lower. Leads to God knows how many more whining, crying, absurd situations. 2.) "Real world combat benefits" going to have to massively disagree there. The recoil in a real gun is another universe compared to the non existent recoil of an airsoft gun. 3.) People yelling out ridiculous "battlefield" lingo with no understanding of what it means. Hearing 8 year olds yell out "tango down" every ten seconds will bring you to tears in cringe. 4.) Even if you are spending less money on bb's for your gun, you'll be wasting half of them per game because of the simple fact that *airsoft players, bar none, cheat like there's no day tomorrow* Since there's no marking with a bb, there's no way to tell if someone's been hit unless a ref is standing right there. 5.) Airsoft referees are a joke across the board. There's no way to tell unless you're staring right at someone if they've been hit. This leads to "he said she said" scenarios all day long with no clear winners. 6.) Many Airsoft players seem to think they're actually real life armed forces of some kind just because they have the gear. The patches they wear, the "callsigns" they think they have or need to have get to the point of being laughably stupid and borderline insulting to real soldiers. 7.) The size of Airsoft games coupled with zero differentiation or splitting of skill levels can lead to some outright massacres that are painful to watch. Airsoft refs (that I've seen) almost never bother to split people up regardless of how stacked a team may be. 8.) No rules on how many bb's per second someone can shoot. At all. You can wound up getting shot over 100 times at point blank range because of this. 9.) FPS rules pretty much doesn't exist in Airsoft. Anyone can bring a few tools out after the initial chrono and hit you with a 700+ FPS sniper all day long. At least in paintball tournaments they chrono every round....I don't even think Airsoft has tournaments in the format paintball does so I can't say what I'm claiming is totally accurate. Just based on what I've seen. 10.) No restrictions on "accessories" to a game. People can bring flash bangs, smoke grenades, bb grenades, you name it. Airsoft, for whatever reason doesn't seem to care about the dangers of decibel levels, smoke inhalation, or explosive devices at close ranges.
Lmao in the transition of switching from paintball to Airsoft! More realistic and I go home clean! In ny we pay $90 bucks for a box of field only paint
@@gasmaskgaming7550 uh no definitely overcharged. It costs most fields less than 20 dollars to buy a case of paint when they buy pallets. They upcharge and abuse the system. You shouldn’t pay more than 45 or 50 for a case at any field.
Yeah airsoft probably wins for price, but with something like a t15, paintball is just as realistic as airsoft. Plus gbb airsoft guns freeze up too fast. Also some people like getting messy when they play paintball. That said, I still think they are both great sports.
Green Star Gaming Oh well yeah I mean that is a little unrealistic I guess. U can run it through the stock but then u have an unrealisticly large stock :/
To be honest where I live in Canada , Paintball is just way bigger on popularity. That's probably the main reason I just do paintball and the fact that am already fully geared.
Decent air soft guns also cost way more than a decent paintball gun. Plus those paintball prices were exaggerated. I also personally like the splatter. It’s fun getting dirty. Paintballs are washable. Next, if you can hit your target, you don’t have to waste as much ammo. Lastly, I prefer bruises over small holes in me. I think both can be fun. It just depends what kind of person you are.
@@robbyjones9489 different strokes for different folks. Paintball is a sport (aside from woodsball) where as airsoft is a serious hobby. One isn't better than the other, they're just different.
Bro im willing to bet you've hardly played airsoft. I play at a field and i love to go explore the field and go on massive flanks. And just becuase you get hurt more and pay more for a ball of paint doesn't make you a man.
Not to mention if you run an electric Airsoft gun you do not have to pay for propellant you can get a huge variety of quality of BB's and weights sniper rifles are very accurate and long-range and most Real Steel guns have their Airsoft counterparts and the whole sport is more realistic than paintball and Airsoft is ridiculously much cheaper then paintball which is the main reason that I play Airsoft instead of paintball
I started with airsoft and there just aren't too many good places to play as well as if you aren't using an agro aeg no one calls hits mostly bc the people cant feel it
WillBallForSoup oh there are places that are higher here. They just don’t get us regular ballers to their field. One field was over a hundred per case and didn’t want regular players just renters. That’s why I like DnC paintball he makes it affordable to play cause he loves the sport.
I have only played paintball so far,so won't say anything about comparison with airsoft until i play it.But about the paintballs price,in my place,it's pretty cheap.2000 paintballs cost 29$ in here, and those are the adult size ones(0.68).And all paint you get on your clothes you can wash easily with a bit of water and soap.

I play paintball in Canada. Paint is expensive and the only way to cut cost is if your field has memberships. At my field I have to pay 150$ on a 1 year membership just to get a case of paint 75$ or 315$ for a 1 year membership to get a case of paint for 50$.

it's tournaments, they most likely got all of that from sponsors. They didn't pay a dime, so why would they care?

Some airsoft youtuber made a video of 2v2 airsoft tournaments
I remember when I was in middle school I was stuck between buying a pump paintball gun or a spring airsoft gun. I chose the spring airsoft gun because the ammo was cheap. But 6 years later I'm running a gas airsoft pistol and I don't regret getting into airsoft.
Dilly Pickle that is a very important decisions
Ive played tournament paintball on and off for the last 15 years and played as high as D2, while ill always love paintball and still have plenty of gear(I wear jt teams and sandanas while airsofting) I changed course in 2015 and started "speedsofting". Watching airsoft grow and being at the forefront of it competitively is an awesome thing to experience and with speedqb making waves and normalizing competitive airsoft it has been a huge help in getting this recognized.
Great video and can't wait to see you venture into the plastic slingers!
*fails to mention milsim with players be able to use gear from all eras of war whether it's modern, Vietnam, WW2 , etc.*
Otto von Bismarck the only difference in gear is the gun itself
@@zacharywright165 that's a straight up lie haha.
Otto von Bismarck exactly
I’ve played both, I have more than 2 years of experience on paintball. And less than a month on airsoft. Airsoft is more enjoyable

I started playing PB recently and it has the exact vibe you're talking about with airsoft, but in my humble opinion even better
I'm not sure why it isn't mentioned in either this video or why you're not aware of this.

Airsoft Has Milsim, Paintball has Competitions
The goals of these two sports are so separate from each other they are basically not comparable.
Anyway Airsoft is completely banned sport in Middle East and here in Egypt because government will accuse us of terrorism if even tried to import an airsoft gun from Amazon xD so it's a must to fly to Europe and play there.

obviously you dont know about magfed paintball guns, otherwise you would not say this
My paintball field charges $25 for 500 shots. At my airsoft field, I can get 5000 shots for $16
2000 paintballs for 25euros, walkon fee 25eu for the entire month
Jeez, my field is 11 per 500, 39.99 for 2000 rounds. At the actual paintball store it’s 37 for 2000
Wo Walmart has cheaper .2 gram bbs

Another reason: airsoft weapons are more realistic than paintball guns
One actively is meant to replicate real weapons. One is a equipment meant to excel in a sport scenario. Completely different thing.

paintball guns look like s@$&

Only my two cents.
my opinion, it satisfies me to see my paintball explode on my enemy, especially headshots : ) ,never had a mess in my car or house from paintball,
i usually play in a group of 4 so 500 each and we split 2000 paintballs we play for 3 hours and usually pay around 80$ each, sure its expensive but worth it
i have never played airsoft but it looks like alot of fun!
maybe you should take up hobby horsing
thats really cheap and you dont get dirty at all
You guys should try a milsim west game too. Milsim isn't " competitive" like Speedqb is. But it's an entire larger aspect of the game.
I went paintballing for the first time a few days ago. What blew my mind was how many people wasted their ammo just shooting targets in the lobby area before every game.
Shits expensive bro
You've made me decide, Airsoft is the sport
i played paintball today and for 100 paintballs which is 1 tube it costs 15 bucks and that runs out real quick
For that much you get 1k bbs
Airsoft allows you to use real soldier gear & equipment (I mean, it's designed to look like real one) unlike paintball.
So fake replica gear that has no realism just cosmetic.

I see airsoft and paintball are two sides of the same coin.
Just depends on what you like.

I’m from Canada. I can tell you that Paintball’s are expensive up here. Fields sell there paint to non members for $175.00 a case. For members it’s about $80 a case. Thanks.
85-90 for a case in Illinois. I wish paintballs for my local fields weren't expensive
play at badlandz dude really competitive players and just a classic field also its one of the last fields in IL that has byop and if you buy paint there is 50 a case
Who is charging you that much? The move would be to get on a sponsored team to reduce your paint costs.
@@WillBallForSoup every single field out here charges that much and we only have 2 byop fields left in the entire state
Paintball is losing popularity by the day in Louisiana so they're selling cases around here for 50-60 for rec ball.

One of the points about airsoft being a cleaner sport is only semi true, as playing in an outdoor field will always get your gear gunked with dirt and mud (especially at my wet swampy outdoor field).
Some fields are more clean, such as the stated indoor cqb arenas.
When I went to this paintball/ Airsoft field in Michigan, the paintballers where super toxic. Wiping paint off and yelling like it was a life or death situation. Pretty cringey stuff.

Like I’ve said I’ve never played airsoft but i am really enjoying paintball since it is a faster and more dirty sport
its nice seeing the other side i think air soft has a slightly bigger fan base because of the reasons in the vid
speed really depends on field size in air soft you can have 50 vs 50 and more in the woods both sports are great imo
I’ve played both sports but I ended up gravitating more towards airsoft and I’ve been playing at a field called Black Ops Airsoft in Illinois and its gone pretty well but I still go paint balling every ounce in a while
Tyler Montano am I weird for liking badlandz more than legacy adventure park
We're coming to a SpeedQB event. Expect us 🔫🔫😵😵
Michael Urena eeeee
I hope people reading this realize you are the best paintball player in Arizona. We are coming to snatch that hardware.
10 reasons why Airsoft is *worse* than Paintball
1.) Huge amount more annoying kids in Airsoft because the pain threshold needed is lower.
You got over charged
@@hahathatsfunny1995 no paintball is overpriced
@@gasmaskgaming7550 uh no definitely overcharged. It costs most fields less than 20 dollars to buy a case of paint when they buy pallets. They upcharge and abuse the system. You shouldn’t pay more than 45 or 50 for a case at any field.
Yeah airsoft probably wins for price, but with something like a t15, paintball is just as realistic as airsoft. Plus gbb airsoft guns freeze up too fast. Also some people like getting messy when they play paintball. That said, I still think they are both great sports.
It’s not really as realistic though
Green Star Gaming plz elaborate
GodLovesYou what I mean was the hpa tank coming out of the back of the gun
Green Star Gaming Oh well yeah I mean that is a little unrealistic I guess. U can run it through the stock but then u have an unrealisticly large stock :/
Paintball cost a lot more I’m switching over next week
To be honest where I live in Canada , Paintball is just way bigger on popularity. That's probably the main reason I just do paintball and the fact that am already fully geared.
Ya up in Canada it’s pricey but you have to take into consideration the exchange rate.
It's actually now $160 for a case of 2000 paintball in Canada
I live in Ontario and there’s fields even selling a case of paint for 170$
I live in Montreal and paint here is between $60 -$130 for members. 60 is speedball BYOB and I've seen between 115 and 130 for regular member pricing
And sadly that’s why I chose airsoft because it’s cheaper.
Holy cow. Why don’t you just order paint online at that point l)
Is money easier to get in canada?
Decent air soft guns also cost way more than a decent paintball gun. Plus those paintball prices were exaggerated. I also personally like the splatter. It’s fun getting dirty. Paintballs are washable. Next, if you can hit your target, you don’t have to waste as much ammo. Lastly, I prefer bruises over small holes in me. I think both can be fun. It just depends what kind of person you are.
I feel betrayed cause of this video
In the end it’s whatever you like
2022 update…it’s more like $220/case in Canada. That’s how the venues make their money.
Is that a typo?😂😂
Its a correction from the last video on this subject
Boys, were dealing with a Level 1 ding dong here
No. Ur a ding dong 😜
Shut it
hope you get better man :(
Lemme tell you buddy Canadians aren’t rich by any means lmao. We just love the sport so we don’t mind the price
Also the exchange rate is a thing.
Airsoft is for the weak and brittle. Paintball is for the Spartan race.
NHK Zombie paintball is one step above nerf battles. Y’all don’t even use sights and don’t play in real life fields. My opinion
@@robbyjones9489 different strokes for different folks. Paintball is a sport (aside from woodsball) where as airsoft is a serious hobby. One isn't better than the other, they're just different.
@@AStaticCharacter Airsoft is a sport according to google.
Bro im willing to bet you've hardly played airsoft. I play at a field and i love to go explore the field and go on massive flanks. And just becuase you get hurt more and pay more for a ball of paint doesn't make you a man.
What merch are you selling bro?
None at the moment. Can't buy merch when you can barely pay rent.
More cheaters in air soft
Peep Gus they make those exploding airsoft bbs
@@Kiteman78 they're expensive
@@jacob3707 Just like paintballs
2:48 False when i come home from the arena im sweaty as fuck
Paintball 4life
Not to mention if you run an electric Airsoft gun you do not have to pay for propellant you can get a huge variety of quality of BB's and weights sniper rifles are very accurate and long-range and most Real Steel guns have their Airsoft counterparts and the whole sport is more realistic than paintball and Airsoft is ridiculously much cheaper then paintball which is the main reason that I play Airsoft instead of paintball
I started with airsoft and there just aren't too many good places to play as well as if you aren't using an agro aeg no one calls hits mostly bc the people cant feel it
Airsoft is cheap enough if you can't spend 250 dollars for a gun go play nerf guns untill you save some money
Where I play in Canada it’s 40 dollar for valken paint.
Yeah I spend about 70 for graffiti
40 is fair, I've just heard a lot of horror stories of Canadians paying 100 or more. Is that a sponsored price?
WillBallForSoup oh there are places that are higher here. They just don’t get us regular ballers to their field. One field was over a hundred per case and didn’t want regular players just renters. That’s why I like DnC paintball he makes it affordable to play cause he loves the sport.
I play paintball in Canada and my local field charges $45 for a case of paint
Is SpeedQB another version of the Philippine Speedball Airsoft?
I have only played paintball so far,so won't say anything about comparison with airsoft until i play it.But about the paintballs price,in my place,it's pretty cheap.2000 paintballs cost 29$ in here, and those are the adult size ones(0.68).And all paint you get on your clothes you can wash easily with a bit of water and soap.
I’m actually Canadian and all the fields charge $180-$200 CAD for a case so that’s about $130-$140 USD which is insane
Paintball takes heart, grit, and courage. Nuff said
