Glad you enjoy it! Don't have a list on me, but from what i can remember right now -> Dune: Imperium, Spirit Island, Alice is missing, Nemesis, The Kings Dillema, 7 wonders Architects, Ark Nova, Hadrians Wall, Sleeping Gods, Wonderlands War, Summoner Wars, Dwellings of Eldervale, Lgacy of Yu.
They actually had a kickstarter month ago for the expansion, I’ve heard about this game from you guys and wanting to play it since then. I got it now and waiting it to arrive in a week or so. I was searching how to play videos and I should say this review is most helpful from them all. Thanks a lot, fantastic production and informational value!
I just played this game a few weeks ago and really enjoyed it. I need to get a copy for my collection. I played it at 2 players and it was fine but I do agree that 4 players is probably the sweet spot. I LOVE the theme!
Great video as usual. I backed for a dollar but didn’t follow through as it did seem like a lot… But completely regret since, I won’t bother with retail but will definitely jump on kickstarter if it comes
I'm fine with random elements in short & easy games, but for a game this thicc it seems to have a bit too much randomness, so I think I'll have to pass. Thanks for another amazing video!
Understandable. In our experience, the luck factor evens out throughout the game. We've never had a game where we can say that you won or lost just because of luck. But you for sure will have those fights where you just can't get a break.
We personaly didn't have the chance to test it at two. BUT there's a dedicated two player variant and we've heard a lot of good thing about it. So it seems like the answer is - YES!
Tbh - I like Alice in Wonderland but not in this context. Paint the Roses is appealing to me but this feels like Tim Burton or America McGee “Excess” Alice which is off putting.
The board is not that big, I would say your standard board game board (think Eldritch Horror or Ticket to Ride) but the whole setup does take a bit of space. How big is your table?
I stumbled across your channel only yesterday. I am amazed by the crisp quality of your shots and editing. I've been consuming a bunch of board game realated content over the years, and I have to say your channel is one of the cleanest in the niche. I want to learn from the best, sooo what's your setup, what gears do you use and where can I reach out to you for these kind of info? 🙌
Hey! Thanks for the nice comments. Most of it is lighting, that's something that's worth investing in and will improve any video production right away. ;)
Panasonic Gh5, they actually came out with GH6 recently. But it's a bit too much for just UA-cam videos if you don't plan to do any video freelance work

4 players is the sweet spot. Not too crowded, but also there's plenty of action!

It has a 2 player mode that you might be interested in and it's pretty good. But it for sure shines with 4 players

Nop! I tried it before and like you said it is just too much! it feels like a "board game mechanics salad" for me and it is not fun

It's good at two, but you'll get the most of it playing with 4 players where the interaction is through the roof
